What dosage of Levothyroxine is a green oblong pill with 9 and 3 on one side, and 7 3 6 5 on the other side? ## This is not a Levothyroxine tablet, if that is what you were supposed to receive, you've been given the wrong medication. The tablet with the 93 7365 marking contains 50mgs of Losartan, which is an ARB that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. You can learn more Losartan details here. Did you get these at a local pharmacy?

it was supposed to be a white pill, levothyroxine 50 mcg. however I received green oblong pill with 9 and 3 on one side and 7 3 6 5 on the other side. the size is also bigger than the white pill I took for years ## What is it an oblong green pill with a 7 3 6 5 on one side and a 9 3 on the other side? ## The tablet with the 93 7365 marking contains 50mgs of Losartan, which is used to help treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. This is not in any way related to Levothyroxine and will not work to treat thyroid disorders. Learn more Losartan details here. Did you receive these in error from your pharmacy? If so, this is a serious mistake and should be reported to them immediately and they need to give you the correct medication.

I went off nuzak but at the same time changed from Eltroxin to Diotroxin. In that change I have been putting on weight and my stomach feeling uncomfortable and bloated constantly. Would it be from the Diotroxin that I'm now on and isn't working for me? Or possibly coming off the Nuzak? I'm thinking about going back to Eltroxin but not sure which could be the cause. ## Such symptoms would most likely be due to starting a new medication, those aren't things that are normally caused by stopping one. Diotroxin contains Levothyroxine and Liothyronine and these types of medications are well known to cause weight gain and GI upsets, such as what you're experiencing. These side effects should start to taper off in about 4 to 6 weeks, as your body adjusts to the medication. A...

I started taking Synthroid 75 mg just about a week ago. Since I started taking it, I notice that the skin on my neck has become bumpy and almost scaly. Its not flaky but its rough. It isn't itching or anything but I have never had skin on my neck like this. Should I be concerned? Is this an allergic reaction? Im not sure what I should do about it. ## Hi Kristin, Do you think it may be due to some sort of sensitivity to heat (similar to heat hives)? Just wondering because that is actually listed as a side effect of this medication. Ref: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a682461.html#side-effects It also mentions that you should tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away. So that may have to be your next step if it's remains a deep concern. I hope t...

Taking 25mg of levothyroxine for 5 yrs. with reg. follow up and tests. I am now experiencing extremely dry skin and dry, sore eyes. I've tried everything but nothing helping. Any suggestions? ## Hi Cindy, Unless you think you may be dehydrated or having an allergy to a certain food or skincare ingredient, my only guess is that your body is just not accepting this medication any more. Over time, our body chemistry changes and reacts differently to things. Have you spoken with your doctor about this? You can learn more about this drug on the page for Levothyroxine Details If you have any additional questions or concerns, please post back and I'll be happy to assist you.

Hi there- I have suffered from M.E. for 11 years- which, I know, has very similar symptoms to hypothyroid- Anyway, I had to have blood tests done for a private clinic in 2010- My GP did these tests, but I was never called in to discuss the results... Luckily, my nutritionist picked up on the low level of serum ferritin(7) and started me on a gentle Iron preparation- But my TSH levels were 5.13 and T4 14- My M.E. seemed to be worsening, especially 'brainfog'- and I have been through the Menopause now- so I asked for more tests and my thyroid levels are now TSH 5.30 and T4 12- I have had no help from my Doctors in 11 years so it was no surprise when, instead of calling in(I'mhousebound) A GP who I have never seen, rang me- Said it was 'my call' if I wanted to start med...

HI I have low thyroid and recently i came to know abt pcos,i am 31 yr old and trying to conceive from 1 year doctor started giving me hypnodid for pcos and fertyl 50 for 3-7 day of my cycle,i tried last month but it didnt work can i continue taking this ...for how long i can take this tab... please help i m really in depression and its affective mine and my husband relation. ## Hi soniyo, If the hypnodid hasn't been working well, I think it would be wise to consider other, more natural alternatives for helping your body heal itself from Polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos). This may or may not be a concern of yours, but from what I could gather, a modest weight loss can improve high androgen and high insulin levels as well as infertility. It has been reported that weight loss of as litt...

This pill is pink. I am allergic to Red 40. Can you please tell me if Red 40 is in this pill. ## Since Levothyroxine is a generic, it is manufactured by several different companies, so I can't check the specific ingredients without knowing more information. Can you post back with the markings on the tablet, or the name of the manufacturer, please? If you do so, I'll glad check for you. Thanks! ## The bottle reads Levothyroxin 25mcg Tab Myla The pills have what looks like a L and a 4 on one side and a M on the other. Thank you!

Scored yellow caplet with T 4 on one side and 01 on other side. My girfriend said her dog took thyroxine at one time. Wondering if this is a loose tab found in cabinet or GF on drugs ## I have the same pills, prescribed to my dog, for a thyroid issue. ## @Mojojax, Just wanted to note that I came across a similar scored pill marked with T4 50 as opposed to T4 01; and this pill was was identified as Levothroid (Levothyroxine) 50 mcg (0.05 mg); used in the treatment of under-active thyroid. Perhaps your pill is just 0.01mg in reference to the imprint. Learn More: Levothyroxine Details I hope this bit of info helps!

I had a total thyroidectomy and 10 lymphnodes removed due to papillary carcinoma in october 2012. I started a higher dose of levothyroxine (150mcg) a week ago. I'm having a myriad of the "less common" symptoms that I'm hoping will go away as my body acclimates. The most annoying is I have extreme breast tenderness and swelling. It is to the point where it hurts to be hugged and no bras I have fit. Is that normal and should I expect it to dissipate as I acclimate? ## Hi Leah, In time, your body should acclimate to the medication and the symptoms should go away. However, since your pain seems to be more severe, I would definitely speak with your doctor if it persists or becomes totally unbearable. Learn More: Levothyroxine Details I hope this insight helps! I have been diagnosed with neuralgia and was prescribed Degranol 200mg twice a day and Cymgen 30mg once a day for almost 2 years now. After months being on the medication i started getting hair loss, I am 53. Could it be the medication? why did the hair problem start so much later. Could it be menopause ? ## It might be a combination of the medications and the onset of Menopause, it can cause a low thyroid function in many women and that's one of the side effects. Learn more Degrenol details here. Learn more Cymgen details here. Thus, you may want to consult your doctor about it, to be certain what's causing it. Nature Thyroid sure is available from your pharmacy if you have a doctor who will prescribe it. My wife has to drive 250 miles from Syracuse to New York City every 3 months to see her doctor who WILL Rx this. She hasn't found anyone in Central New York who will prescribe it ... BUT IT HELPS HER. ## Hi Mark, Unfortunately, it's impossible to know ahead of time what doctors will prescribe, as that is based on their own discretion. Have you thought about asking your doctor for a referral? Maybe he/she knows of another doctor closer to your area that can prescribe Nature Thyroid. I hope this helps!

In December I had half my thyroid removed, what now? Besides recovery from the cancer/not cancer game they did while I was playing the wiating game with the dr's.. Measurements is the stage? who thought this s*** up? It wasn't funny, and I would have prefered straight up answers, from liscenced professionals. Multiple biopsy's ..scared the snot out of us.. over a non functioning enlarged thyroid... calling it a tumor.. glad we kept our business to our selfs.. ## I'm very sorry for the scares you had to endure, may doctors seem to be fatalists and assume the worst immediately, which isn't always fair to their patients. Is that just what they're doing for now, checking your thyroid hormone levels regularly? Learn more thyroid hormone details here. Unfortunately, it...

Have been taking 50 for several years--recently increased to 75--extreme fatigue--possible cause? ## According to the MayoClinic, extreme fatigue is listed as a less common but serious side effect of Synthroid (levothyroxine); in which case it recommends letting your doctor know as soon as possible. I am taking .025 mg generic Synthroid to help my depression meds work better. I am supposed to take it on an empty stomach before breakfast but it makes me sick. I am considering taking it on a full stomach after supper. Any ideas on this? thanks david a ## Hi David, I completely understand what you're going through, I've dealt with this issue many times before. If you aren't comfortable with how this medication is making you feel, I would just speak with your doctor about switching to something different. If I can recommend anything else, it would be the essential oil peppermint. I suggest consuming the peppermint with honey or you can add a couple drops to a glass of water. You can also dilute it with coconut oil or olive oil and rub it on your stomach. I find that the aro...

Years of Levothyroxine and never felt better. completely quit and have more energy, but very grumpy ## From what I could gather, irritability is listed as a side effect of Levothyroxine. Ref: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a682461.html#side-effects It could be that there is still some left in your system or even just your body getting used to not having it. How long have you been off of this medication for?
