My last result was TSH 50 and T4 was 9 and T 3 was at 6. T3 look too high and the T 4 too low in comparison with the high level of TSH. A week ago The TSH reads 10 and a day ago it read at 9. It is coming down very slowly but still too high. Does any one know how long it wil take for TS H to drop to normal kevels. I am trying from 1 yr for pregnancy. My gyno prescribed m ovacare, thyronorm for control of thyroid, and fesovit for iron, also used ccq tab, in jan 15 I have gone for hsg, both tubes are opened and every test is normal. on 9 jan 2015 I got my period, but in feb 2015 I missed my period. I have done a home pregnancy test after 2-3 weeks and in every test I got a negative result. After a very long time a faded line appeared on the kit, but my gyno says we are taking it as a positive and asked for an ultrasound on march 19, 2015 and till then she stopped ovacare, and said to take l-folinine. I don't feel so confused anymore. Now I know all of you are going through the same thing. My doctor put me on 50mcg of Levothyroxine about a month ago and I have gain 8 pounds! I get short-breathed and winded REALLY easily when working out. I used to go to the gym for 2 hours, now I can't make it longer than 30 minutes. I wake up ALL the time with tingly fingers because my hands have fallen asleep. I have headaches, I feel 100 times more lazy than before...and it's supposed to help your energy, not drain it. I have been taking Synthroid for about a year now. I started at 25 mcg and am now taking 175 mcg. My problem is, I still have racing pulse and headaches, they were infrequent, but have become more frequent in the past week or so. I also have sweat episodes. I take Tylenol pm to help me sleep, could this affect the Synthroid. Generally I just feel ill and nauseous with racing pulse for the past week or so. I would appreciate any feedback. I started taking levo....about 3 years ago. Off and on really, i am terribly bad at taking medication. In February I stopped taking my levo (Don't ask me why but I couldnt tell you), fast forward to last week when I go in for my doctors follow up (not all due to the thyroid), I didn't say anything to the doctor about not taking the levo and proceeded to have my blood work done. I get the call a couple days later that my thyroid levels were perfect. So i tell them that cant be right and we should retest, I retest and the same results, perfect. How can they be perfect when I haven't taken my meds in 5 months? So either i was taking it before and not needing it or my body just happened to heal itself? Doubtful.
