Testosterone Pellet

I had testosterone pellets inserted in my hip last April, 2012. My tes shot up from 355 to 850 in a couple of weeks. Everything was OK, then about 10 weeks into the program I started having anxiety. I got to the point where it was panic. I have never felt panic to this degree. I went back to my doc and he checked my estrogen and found out it was 3 times higher than when I started the program. He gave me some anastrasole to block the production of estrogen. Once that door was open my anxiety would not go away. I started taking 30 mg of Cymbalta to control my anxiety. Now 4 months later things are starting to level off. Obviously I was disappointed and do not plan on getting the Testosterone Pellets anymore. It seems like I experienced all the negative side effects and none of the positive. I have started on Androgel 1.62%, although I doubt if my tes levels will get back up to the 800 level. If I can get up to around 400 or 500 I will be happy.

I was just given BioTe Pellets...10 of them or 2000mg in my backside. 10 days in and my Total Test went from 284 to 1491. My anxiety is off the roof and sometimes is full blown panic. I was proscribed Xanax which I am popping .25MG every 3 hours. I am in hell. This doctor screwed me. All the doctors claim there is no connection between Test and Anxiety - and by implication saying its psycho-sematic. Unbelievable.
How long until this goes away?
Mike, were these bio-identical pellets or synthetic?
I do believe the anxiety caused by Tes. pellets is more related to overdosing. It seems like the dosage is harder to manage when pellets are used.
I have also heard the most accurate way to measure testosterone is getting blood through a finger prick rather than a venipuncture.
my 18 yr old son was diagnosed with low T. He hit complete puberty, it is sometime after 16 that this occurred. the urologist is recommending Testopel pellets. are there any younger adults out there tjhat can share their experience.
I'm 26 years a old and have low "T", a birth defect from being a Triplet is my reason. I used gels and shots before switching to pellets. The gel did not help enough and the shots through me numbers up high only to drop fast within a few weeks. I switched doctors and was put on Sottopelle testosterone pellets. So far I'm doing well. Testopel testosterone pellets is another brand that I used before, had no problem with them either. I did notice from above posts that men were facing axiety and panic attacks after implanting pellets. I have anxiety and panic attacks before pellets, pellets level me out.
Does anyone know where I can buy testosterone pellets in or outside the USA?
My problem with being tired was as a result of sleep apnea. Now that I have been using a CPAP machine I feel great. I think there are other things that can cause tiredness and low T is only one of them. Generally speaking I don't think the medical community really understands the impact of HRT. I think T injections is a fad and it's going to become less popular. I don't think striving to raise your T level to 800 plus is the right thing to do. Having to deal with major anxiety is not acceptable IMO.
I am getting Testosterone Pellets inserted, and they are doing great. I was wondering if there is a direct discount supplier of the pellets? I am on a budget, and although I am not going to quit the pellet treatment, it costs me about $2000 per year to keep it up (so to speak).
I had the testosterone pellets put in about 9 days ago and after 7 days, horrible anxiety surfaced on the 7 th day to the point i had to take a Klonopin. I am already on Celexa for anxiety. Anxiety was better on day 8 and today, i am somewhat anxious. I am sorry I ever did this. I guess I will have to deal with this for the next 3 months. I called the doctor, but only got an assistant, I have yet to talk to a doctor about this. I was told that the pellets would help with anxiety. My t level was about 269- 64 years old. Would love to hear from others who have had this issue. I hope the anxiety is only temporary . I did take Androgel, and it did nothing.
Thanks for that info. Since I posted this I've had a stress test done by a cardiologist, said my heart was perfectly healthy. Your post makes sense. This HRT doc I went to reminded me of a powered salesman more than a doctor. I will look elsewhere. I am still tired all the time. I'm going to a Pulmonologist today, thinking I may have sleep apnea.
Your Dr. Is trying to kill you, normal level is 400 to 500 being extreme. It could have caused a heart attack. You should look for a Dr. That deals with this full time. That's what I had to do, my Dr overdosed me for 3 months. Then he cut me off cause my red blood count shot threw the roof. Cutting me off was as bad or worse then overdose. All he had to do was bleed me and lower the dose. He told me from the beginning he was not up with the whole testosterone theropy so we called in a specialist. He got me evened out and now I feel great. I just felt like I should share that with you before it did even more damage. Good luck
Thanx Mike for your Quick response to the testosderone gel question I had.I am happy it helped you in someway,at least it worked.Thanx UFC
Before I went on the pellets I was using Androgel. I was doing two pumps a day and that got my Tes up to 355. Although that was low my Doc was OK with
It since anything above 300 is considered normal. Hope this helps
