Hello, Angela! How are you?
Pantoprazole has been known to cause peripheral edema, which is fluid retention that may result in some weight gain, according to FDA reports. You may also experience headache, dizziness, stomach pain, diarrhea, and flatulence.
Has your doctor confirmed that your weight gain was due to fluid?
Have you ever been prescribed a diuretic to remove the excess fluid from your body?
