Switching Over From Losar H To Cilakar T
UpdatedI am diabetic since 1998, mostly sugar PP from 140 to 180, very few times crossed 200. Taking diamet 500 twice a day for the last 10 yrs. Regular walking. Before 5-6 yrs for slight BP, mostly 120 to 140. Being diabetic my Dr advised Losar H once in the morning and I've been taking it since last month due to heart discomfort. The cardiolagist found NO PROBLEM in my HEART at all (i am 60 yrs of age now). Still my sugar and bp level are the same. Yet, heart specialist changed diamet 500 to diamet SR twice a day and replaced Losar H with Cilakar t. I am waiting for exhaustion of stock of existing tabs to change over. No other significant or unusual trouble in me so far.
An Allopathic Dr asked me to discontinue both tabs gradually and stop, because I don't have any trouble. A few times in a year i feel heart discomfort which they say could be a result of gastritis or muscle cramps only after tmt, echo, blood work, etc, every time. Endocopist too didn't find any issue except gastritis. Yet I'm advised to take anti cholesterol pills and blood circulation tabs as a precaution.
2 months back for 2 months i began suffering severe itching all over my body; esp. when I undress clothes. A skin specialist also found no serious issue. It vanished automatically.
Please advise......
1. May I try stopping all of these pills?
2. May I continue the diamet 500 n losar h?
3. Should I switch over to Diamet SR and Cilakar T?
4. Heart dr said the 'H' in losar H may restrict the reduction of sugar level
