Been on burp. For a few weeks have detox to 1/4 every other day. Last Sunday w as s the last rtf time I took anything. I feel so anxious and crawling out of my skin... how long will this last? ## Hello, Sandy! How are you feeling? It depends on how much you were taking and how long you were taking it. It could be anywhere from a week to about a month, before you start to feel more normal. The FDA lists the typical withdrawal effects as possibly including nausea, fever, chills, diarrhea, depression and rebound pain. Have you experienced any other withdrawal symptoms, yet? ## I have a few subutex pills. I’m gonna stop using percs and vik’s tomorrow, will I have enough sub to get me over the withdrawals I’m going to break them up into little pieces somebody please help.

I am a resident of West Virginia and have Medicare with Symphonix Value Rx by UnitedHealthcare prescription coverage which DOES cover my Subutex prescription. I go to the doctor in PA, less than one mile across the WV state line. I am having problems finding a pharmacy in WV that will bill my insurance for the medication although they DO accept the insurance and had no problem whatsoever accepting it for a script written in WV. I also cannot find a pharmacy in PA that will bill the insurance. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in WV, PA or MD that will bill my insurance for my script? I will share the name of WV pharmacies that fill PA scripts if someone will share with me. Even if you know a pharmacy that will fill a PA script for a WV resident and charge less than $5.00 per tablet for the...

I am currently in treatment and have been for 3 months. I am allergic to Suboxone but was put on it anyway even though another doctor in the facility personally witnessed my allergy to Suboxone. I also had the same exact reaction to Bunavail. I was taken off my Subutex which I had no problem with and put on something I am allergic to. I do NOT wish to continue seeing a doctor willing to risk my life because they are that afraid of the DEA. I am seeking a doctor or treatment facility within an hour drive of Kingwood WV in Preston County that WILL prescribe something that is Naloxone FREE. I prefer Subutex but I read somewhere that Bunavail comes in a form that is free of Naloxone, which I am willing to try. No Methadone PLEASE. ## Hi, I hope you have found a doctor by now. But, I have be...

I have been on methadone for 10 years and am only 35. I want to come off of it and am trying to find a subutex dr in knoxville tn. Please someone help ## Hello, Traytray35! How are you? Unless there is some medical reason that makes it dangerous for you to take Suboxone, such as being allergic to the Naloxone or pregnant, a doctor is going to want you to go with Suboxone. There is a search engine on the website that you can use to look for doctors in you area that treat with it. Suboxone.com click here, you can search by zip code and their contact information will be included to see if they are accepting new patients. The FDA classifies this medication as being an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side ef...

I have been abusing opiates for the last 5-6 years and I've tried a million times using suboxone to try and get off of it but I just can't bring myself to get sick enough to where I can take it, and the very few times I have it didn't work and made me sicker I'm guessing because my tolerance is so high. I desperately need to find subutex but am hearing from some people that doctors only prescribe suboxone now but I just don't believe it. There has to be a doctor somewhere that will prescribe it, especially since its on the streets! Can anybody please help?! Does anybody at all know a doctor that will prescribe it to me?? I live on Long Island in New York and will travel pretty much anywhere in the state to get it. Please help me!! If you don't feel comfortable po...

I've been suffering with spinal stenosis for many years. Some mornings I can't even get out of bed. I live in Gorman Tx. Please if anyone knows of a doctor who would prescribe pain meds please let me know. Thank you so much. I'm so tired of hurting so bad all I do is sit and cry or stay in bed because its too difficult to get around. ## I suffer from spinal stenosis. I've dealt with this for many years, with no relief. I'm hoping one day to find a doctor who will help with pain meds. ## Hello, Blanche! How are you? If you require medications on a long-term ongoing basis to control chronic pain, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, ha...

I took two 10mg methadones about eight hours ago for the very first time. Am i okay to take some subutex without there being any serious side effect? ## Probably too late but don't do it. You could get precipitated withdrawals. ## @james, In order to avoid precipitated withdrawal, my findings suggest that it may be a good idea to wait at least 3-5 days or longer before using Subutex, depending on how fast you metabolize Methadone. According to nhtsa.gov, Methadone's half life is reported to be an estimated 60 hours, which means it's probably better to play it safe rather than take any risks within the first 24 hours. But if you really need to use Subutex sooner, I'd encourage you to contact your doctor about getting a second opinion based on their own discretion from exp...

I have been on about three quarters of generic subutex pills per day for over a year now. I ran out of subutex and took 40 mg of methadone the first day and 30 mg the next. I now have my subutex and I am wondering how long I should wait to take it... My husband had done this in the past where he only used the methadone a few days and switched right back to subutex the next day (at least 24 after). I just wanted to see if anyone else has had any experience with this. I do not want to be sick I've been through precipitated withdrawls before. TIA ## Subutex only contains the narcotic Buprenorphine, it doesn't contain the Naloxone that is in Suboxone, which would cause the precipitated withdrawals. This is a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side ef...

How soon can I take subutex after taking hydrocodone? ## Hello, Becky! How are you? You have to be in full withdrawal, before you can safely take Subutex. Taking it too soon may cause you to go into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addition, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thats not true. You don't have to be in full withdrawal for Subutex. Suboxone is the one u have to wait for to take. Subutex does not have the blocker (Naloxone) in it. So you can take it before u feel like s*** ## I think there is some truth to what Verwon said, though indivi...

I need to find a doctor that subscribes subutex in West or Middle Tennessee. I heard there is one in Murfreesboro, TN but I can't find any. Somebody please help. It doesn't have to be Murfreesboro; anywhere in West or Middle is fine. ## Doctor Turpin in Murfreesboro, Tennessee treats opioid addiction. I know that he writes subutex but not sure if theres a waiting list, and as far as xanax, no doc wants you on both and if you were, some pharmacies will not fill both. That's just my experience of about 3 to 4 years. ## Dr Quao (Belly Family Medical) in Smyrna or Hopeways in Franklin. Be prepared to be treated badly or easily dismissed (MedCare van was 10 minutes late). My best advice would be to go treatment-they can by-pass waiting lists. ## Hey, do you still go to subutex do...

What hsppens if u just swallow a subutex? Just wondering. ## Subutex is best absorbed sublingualy thru the membrane under the tongue. Swollowing will give you about an 8th of the full affect. So you get about a mg out of 8 if you swallow from my experience. ## this is not true cause ive done it many times after taking them under tounge for 2 Years I kno its much easier when I swallow them I was on stripts and the pill form and then they put me on subutext due to my medical condition and I sometimes can't stomach to put this under my tounge I get sick very easy from this but it don't hurt me feel the same ## How long do you need to take subtux and how often.

Hello. I'm on house arrest and got drug tested via urine for subutex on 8/12/13. My last dose was on 8/4/13. I am wondering if this would still be in my urine 9 days later? Help please!!! ## Complete elimination of of a single dose of Buprenorphine can take as long as 6 days, the window of detection for the parent drug in urine is thought to be approximately 3 days. So it should be out of your system. ## How long will subutex stay in my system? I took 11 subutex in 5 days. How long until I will be clean for a swab drug test. The last two days I took a half of a quarter? ## It could still sow up since it has a very long half life. You need to Google, "The half life of Suboxone & Subutex... ## Unless your being tested specifically for sub ozone or subutex, it won't show up...

Was dispensed these plain white pills that were supposed to be subutex and I can't find anything about them. I know that regardless of the pill and prescription, they should have a mark of some kind on it by law and these do not. I'm furious because people do this kinda stuff and they could kill you cause you don't know what your taking. And of course said person keeps saying "no they are subutex". I think they're victims or something but if anyone out there can honestly say they have had subutex with no markings at all please let me know. ## It seems like I've had markless subutex before. I remember also thinking it looked really strange.

I took 2 mg of Subutex on Saturday afternoon and was drug tested on Thursday afternoon ( 6 days ). How likely will it be detected in urine? ## It's a bit difficult to say, because that time frame is actually right on the cusp, since the Buprenoprhine is usually detectable for approximately 5 days in urine. The precise time frame will vary from person to person, depending on your metabolism, overall health, activity levels, fluid intake and etc. Learn more Subutex details here. If you type subutex into the search spot at the top of this page, you will find more info about it. I work in a small CD unit and we're about to start using suboxone for heroin addiction treatment. Subutex (buprenorphine) is Suboxone w/o naloxone, which was added to buprenorphine to make it useless if dissolved and injected for recreation, thus diminishing its street value. Anyway, don't know much more about it than that, though I do see that Suboxone has been used as an antidepressant in clinical trials at Harvard. The citation is Bodkin, JA et al. (1995): Buprenorphine treatment of refractory depression, Journal of Clinical Pharmocology. 15:49-57. ## I take opiates and need to know about the availability of subutex to stop my drug use. Please help me.

Small white round pill with the numbers 54 755 on the same side. ## I was using perk 10s for over a year and having a hard time coming off this opiate being told if wanting to be free of this addiction and using subutex the right way will be very helpful in my recovery ## Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories, and they list it as containing 2mgs of Buprenorphine, which is most commonly used to help treat drug addiction, and to treat some forms of chronic pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. The inactive ingredients may include: citric acid anhydrous, corn starch, crospovidone, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, mannitol, povidone, sodium citrate, though they may vary depending...

My daughter abuses opiates and is now quite poor. I have been trying to get her subutex but cant find anyone to prescribe them.
