I live in Cincinnati, Ohio does anyone know of a pain clinic that will prescribe Subutex for chronic pain? I have chronic pancreatitis and stage 3 kidney disease. Or a private doctor who will prescribe. Would love to find a doctor who isn't afraid to prescribe this medication also a very good doctor who actually listens and cares. Willing to travel within reason. ## Dr Machret or Dr Fallot. Both in Springfield Oh. I currently go for chronic back pain. You will have to have MRI though.

I have called every doctor in wv fr subutex and have had no luck. If u find one please let me know. ## I'm sorry, Lea! What exactly are you looking for? Learn more Subutex details here. Someone may be able to help, if you post back with more details. Thanks! ## Ive been on subutex in wv but only bc I was pregnant. Being pregnant is the only way you will get them in this state. Other than that you get strips. ..again that's state law. I go to a doctor in Morgantown that takes my medical card and my fiance goes to a doctor that is very very reasonably priced in Fairmont, about 20 miles south. The Fairmont doctor has NO wait list and the Morgantown doctor is a short list. Reply if needed. ## Can you please tell me the doctor in Morgantown and Fairmont name please and whats the pric...

I am looking for a subutex physician in fall river, mass. area. I am allergic to suboxone. I have insurance. If i have to pay a fee i will not go. I desperately need help, please. ## Hello. As an ex junky I really need some subutex to help me to feel better and not so anxious, life has been very hard. My doctor does not listen to me. In fact he is very worried about is reputation as a GP. He told me, sorry Miss I'm protecting myself!! I left his surgery in tears and felt let down by him the only option he offers me was antidepressant. I dont want antidepressants, I want a strong pill to make me sleep when i feel suicidal. ## Seroquel at night will help emensly! 50 mg @ bedtime. Looking for a subutex doctor have been put on subutex for three years today the clinic I have been going to all sudden says they have to switch to suboxn because of a new law but u looked it up and the law was passed in 2015, as a lot of u guys have posted the link to, so why prescribe it for two years after the law and all sudden change I'm.allergic to naloxone badly very badly , if anyone knows around virginia please let me know thanks ## If your allergy to Naloxone is documented, they should be able to prescribe Subutex for you, without a problem. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you on any other medications? ## Hi, can you say you know this ...

It would b nice to find a free doctor but I know that can't happen here. I have a hard time getting them with no money plus nobody wants to give you klonopin or xanax anymore and that's the only way I can be myself anymore can't do it without them. I got Medicaid and I know it don't pay for visit and really don't know if it will pay for subutex anymore since I'm not pregnant know. ## Hello, Leary! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. The best suggestion I can make is to contact your nearest large hospitals and see if they have a social work or patient assistance/advocate group. They usually have lists of doctors that accept Medicaid, or low-income patients on a sliding fee scale, so they may be able to help you. Alternatively, do ...

I have been taking either suboxone or subutex for a little over a year now. I started taking it because I have a bad knee and my line of work causes a lot of pain (CNA in nursing home). I ended up getting hooked on it. I only take 2mg a day and I do sometimes skip a day. I recently found out I am about 5 weeks pregnant unexpectedly and I am terrified. I refuse to have a baby hooked on anything but I have read that stopping can cause miscarriage. I am already scared because I had a miscarriage 6 years ago. I do not know what to do. I want to stop taking it but safely and I'm scared to tell a doctor due to the fact I do not have a prescription. Please Help! ## First of all, suboxone and subutex are NOT used for pain. They are used, wrongly, for withdrawal symptoms associated with opia...

I need a subutex doctor. I have hep B and need some help. Thank u ## Hello, Samantha! How are you? What is your general location? That would make it easier for someone to recommend a doctor for you, if they know of a good one in your area. This website is open to people worldwide, so if someone in Seattle knows of a great doctor, it's not going to be of much help to you, if you live in Rhode Island. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I Need help Getting off Norco pills and need a Dr in Tupelo MS. Please help.

I have been taken about 60 mg of methedone a day for the last three day to come off of herion so I don't go thru withdrawl how long would I have to wait to take a subutext after the methedone ## Hi zach, To help answer your question, a lot of patients recommend having at least a 24 hour gap in between switching over to subutex. However this is only intended to be an estimate since each person may metabolize meds differently. If you start taking the subutex too early, you may not feel much from the buprenorphine right away, but others say that it should kick into gear as you continue treatment. Apparently when your receptors are filled with methadone, buprenorphine may take the methadone off of the receptors and cause precipitated withdrawal syndrome; whereas symptoms that are normal...

Can I have a tooth extracted if I'm using subutex? Will the local anaesthetic still work okay? Regards, Dave ## It should, since there is nothing in Subutex to neutralize it. The anesthetic used by dentists is not a narcotic and the Subutex doesn't contain Naloxone, anyway. However, I'd suggest making sure the dentist knows you're taking it, just to be on the safe side. Learn more Subutex details here. Having had 2 teeth pulled, while I had an active infection so the anesthetic didn't work, I can assure you that's something you don't want to experience. Can you post back and let me know how it goes? ## I am having 2 teeth extracted by being put to sleep and I currently take subutex I am concerned about being out under while on this medicine has anyone experie...

I am trying to find a doctor in Montgomery Alabama who will prescribe Subutex for lower back pain and I have a couple of friends who go to a doctor for this but he recently stopped taking patients. I don't want to be on any kind of opiate BC of the chance of getting addicted to it. My friends all say it works great for them and I'm just trying to find another doctor who would prescribe me this, BC again, I don't want to be on any kind of pain killer but I also don't want to be in pain all the time. It would be great if you could help me out with this question. Thank you! ## Hello, Ryan! How are you? Actually, the active ingredient in Subutex is an opiate, Buprenorphine, so it carries the same risk of being habit forming as all other narcotics. The FDA lists its typical s...

Hey everyone after recently being released from prison, so many great things are happening in my life however my painful desire to use opiates is still strong and almost led me to ER yesterday. That was my routine before but I fought it,prayed, and let my wife &sister know. So by Gods grace we found a great psychiatrist who got me immediately. I was put on 8mg Subutex 2x a day. I'm nervous to start it. I'm in no withdraw but I'm using it as a preventive. Can you please tell me what to expect with this med? I'm also on 1mg Xanax three times daily as needed and an anti depressant. Thanks everyone ## Hello, Chad! How are you? Have you taken it, yet? So awesome that you faced your problem and sought help for it! The FDA classifies Subutex as an opiate that is most commonl...

Any way to get off subs after at least 15 years of being a slave to them? Don't get me wrong, being strung out on opiates or anything like that is much worse, but I'm pretty sick of relying on a f***ing pill to keep me well. I'd like to have another baby someday. What have I gotten myself into?? ## Hello, Red! How are you? Both of these medications usually require a very slow taper to successfully come off of them and prevent the worst of the withdrawal symptoms. The FDA lists some typical withdrawal symptoms as possibly including nausea, dizziness, rebound pain, rebound anxiety and diarrhea. You also have to be very careful not to stop the Xanax cold turkey, because that can create the risk of seizures. What has your doctor advised? What dosage do you take of each? ## I nee...

I was in original trials for suboxone. Had been taking about 10-12 hydros/day, was put 1st on 12mg subox, then same on subutex for 11 yrs - no relapse. Now tho, trying to get off those. Had 20 8mg tabs Dec 1, but can't seem to get under 2 mg/day w/o RLS - along w/ insomnia, my worst fears (tried cold turkey once. And I'd even gotten off hydros in about 3 days cold, but I'm a lot older now). I now have only 9 left.If return to treatment (day rx), will give 2mg daily, but charge $15/day $450/mo. Can I make it tapering w/o withdrawal? I hate the MD who assured me that I shd take as if they were diabetes meds - forever! Can anyone offer help, info?

It's been so hard to get them filled where I live in PA. The pharmacies r going crazy with their power. They don't take any new patients. Gotta live within so many miles, it's crazy. Like I need them or i become sick with withdrawals and they don't care but they will fill anybody's script for oxycontin or strong pain pills even if it's a young kid. It's ridiculous. ## Zig, That's so true. What makes it even harder is that you have subutex and not suboxone. To the misinformed that sadly enough includes pharmacy staff they immediately see visions of addicts using this protocol for I.V. purposes. Now I'm not naive enough to say that doesn't happen to a fraction of users but they lump all users together and form a belief that these drugs lack medical ...

I used 8mg of subutex yesterday approximately 10 in the morning. It is now 4:20 in the afternoon the following day. When can i take dilaudid again and feel its effects? ## @mammonal, From what I could gather online, it'll likely depend on how long you've been using either medication for. However due to Buprenorphine's long half-life, most comments I've seen suggest waiting at least 3 days or more before interchanging between the two (basically until you feel the onset of withdrawals). This period of time should allow you to get the most out of your Dilaudid when you do end up taking it. I hope this helps! ## I have been clean for 6 months. Today, (Thursday) i took what i thought was tylenol for a headache but it turned out to be an 8mg subutex. I have a drug panel on Tue...
