I need to know if this is suboxone ## Yes, this is an 8/2mg generic for Suboxone (NDC 0054-0189). This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Inactive Ingredients: - Anhydrous Citric Acid - Starch, Corn - Fd&c Yellow No. 6 - Lactose Monohydrate - Magnesium Stearate - Mannitol - Povidones - Sodium Citrate - Sucralose Ref: DailyMed ## I'm supposed to be on 2 mg.... small (hard to break) orangish tablets are what I’ve been taking for 2 years. Then last month my pharmacy gave me a large peach with 54375. It’s so large now I wonder what strength it was because today they gave me the small one I was used to which is 2mg. So what strength was the large one? ## Peach ...

I'm on suboxone and need some energy. Can I take stackers 3 with my suboxone? ## Since Stacker is an over the counter supplement, not an actual drug, it has not been checked for possible interactions with prescription medications. There are possible dangers, because the Suboxone contains Buprenorphine, which is a narcotic opiate and, essentially, a downer, thus it could be dangerous to try to mix it with something that is basically an upper. Learn more Suboxone details here. You may also be low on energy if you're on too high of a dosage of the Suboxone, so you should check with your doctor, before trying anything else. ## Did anyone ever answer you on this?

Is it safe to take a night time sleep aid while taking Suboxone? ## Hi Matt - which sleep aid drug or supplement are you thinking of taking? ## I was prescribed 5mg Ambien while on 2mg Subutex. I was going through some life issues and my Doctor said it was fine. I was able to get to sleep pretty quick and stayed asleep. I have also tried Trazodone but was too foggy in the morning, but it knocked me out.

From the prescription drug community website, next to the listed drug, Suboxone, was the word 'Buprenorphine'. Is this the generic drug for Suboxone? ## No what your husband has is generic subutex. It is buprenorphine alone. Suboxone has naloxone in it also. Their is no generic suboxone yet. Generic subutex is alot cheaper, but doctors dont like to prescribe it. I wish they would. People who are really addicts cant afford suboxone. ## That is correct, Buprenorphine is the active opioid ingredient in Suboxone, but it also contains Naloxone, to help prevent the abuse of other opiates, while being treated with it. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ...

I was using Vic's/oxys for about 3 years. I finally was able to get into a detoxing center but was only able to stay 6 days. In them 6 days they gave me suboxone 4mg strips twice daily. The last time I used vicodin was 11/10/15 and the last time I had suboxone was 11/16/15 at 630am. Is it possible for me to be having w/d now? And if so from which? And did my body have enough time to build up a tolerance? And yes I went cold turkey from the suboxone. Plz somebody help ## How are you feeling? Have you experienced any withdrawals? You'd likely not experience any immediately, it wouldn't happen, until you missed one or more doses, though the time frame can vary from person to person. The FDA warns that possible withdrawal symptoms may include nausea, dizziness, rebound pain, dep...

My Caresource Insurance Stopped Paying For Strips And Now My Pharmacy Gives Me 8mg White / Round Generic Pills Which Insurance Covers. Is There Any Way I Can Get The Orange Octagon N8 Pills? Does Anyone Know What Pharmacy Might Give These And Will Caresource Pay For Them In Ohio. Are They Better? ## I'm on the films and I prefer them to the pills. And no you can't get the stop sign shaped pills by reckitt anymore as they phased them out a few years ago due to "children safety" when there is no evidence backing this up which is why they are facing a mega legal suit from the FDA. You can get generic pills however but not generic films as those are only brand name. I tried the generic pills and didn't care for em so I take an 8mg strip a day and have for years and never...

My one year of zubsolv is done 7/1/17. I am terrified and need to taper and quickly. Where do I start ? How can I do this? I have and my 8 year old to care for. Husband passed and only living parent. I want to be a good mother. I only take the zubsolv. I realize now I have been fooling myself. ## It's not as bad as people would have you think. You will feel bad for a couple of weeks. And it will be hard to sleep. But you can find something at the drug store that will help you get by the hard parts. But it's not as bad as you think. ## Thank you kindly for responding. You make me feel so much better. I NEEDED an optimistic approach if I'm to do this. I did find a site "how to get off Suboxone without withdrawals"that seemed to be helpful. Start tapering off, DLPA, oth...

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and has any knowledge that might help. I have been an opiate addict for roughly 15 yrs. and 2 yrs. ago I started taking Suboxone. I also take Adderall. The first year and a half I felt great but recently I feel like I'm close to death. I am majorly depressed and have lost all interest in life. I don't know if its the meds or just the state of mind I'm in. Anyone who has been through this please give me some advice. ## I was not on suboxone at the time but I started adderall and within 1 week I had the worst depression of my life. I read online and it made sense that since adderall makes you Focus on things, if there's anything negative in your life while taking it you might focus on that bad thing and hate yourself. Stop tak...

I was just wondering if some doctors prescribe Suboxone for pain? ## Most don't and from what I understand, insurance companies won't cover it for anything other than drug dependency issues. I have heard of a few people who have taken it for pain but its typically only prescribed for pain as a last resort because of other medical issues making the person unable to take anything else. Why are you trying to get on suboxone? Long term use of it for something like pain management is in my opinion a nastier habit to kick than regular opiates. The Dr Appts are very expensive and the withdrawal lasts months. If your concerned about taking opiates for pain I'd urge you to look into other alternatives. And if you're looking to get off of opiates for pain management just remember,...

I recently was switched from 40mg Opana er and Opana 10mg IR to Suboxone tablets due to upcoming CDC regulations. Since the switch my mouth and throat have become numb and tingle after each dose. I have difficulty swallowing, it takes a little more effort. This has progressively gotten worse through the month I have been on Suboxone. Furthermore my libido has become virtually non existent and i have not been able to climax since the medication switch. I am curious if the numbness, tingle, and difficulty swallowing are allergic reactions? I know loss of libido is common on some medications, but was wondering if this maybe be related to the Suboxone as well? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ## Hi Bob, Sorry to hear about your experience on Suboxone. From what I've researched, NI...

How long do you have to wait to feel an opiote after taking Subutex? ## Subutex only contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, which is a narcotic opiate. It does not contain the Naloxone that neutralizes them, like Suboxone does. Learn more Subutex details here. Subutex may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Immediately. Subutex does not contain naloxone, which is an opiate blocker. They don't give pregnant women Suboxone bc naloxone crosses the placenta & goes straight 2 the baby, but the buprenorphine is still there 2 fill the receptors in your brain 2 keep u from having cravings & having withdrawals. But if you're prescribed Subutex, that mean...

Hello slit has been two days since taking my OXY IR's. I started my suboxone like two mgs and it is wonderful. I don't get any withdrawals and I sleep great. However I still have the craving for the IR. I am filling the script when I get the money but I did not want to go into withdrawals since I ran out. I plan to take them again next week or so but until then I just want to get past thinking about them. My question is my suboxone level to low or is thinking about getting them mentally a part of my brain used to having them? HELP PLEASE!!! ## Yes, it is normal to still think about wanting them, the Suboxone just helps prevent the physical symptoms of being without the drug, it doesn't fix the mental issues for you. However, you aren't going to be able to take the Oxycod...

I have been taking 8mg suboxone, twice a day for one year, and my dr s office haste added level testing. I have been not skipping any doses, and my dr put me on probation, so I kept a journal and took medication as prescribed, and once again, the lab said I was taking 4mg not 16mg. Im brokenhearted, I am not being dishonest, but they cut me off. Has this happened to anyone else? ## Had you made any other significant changes to your lifestyle that your doctor may not have been aware of, such as increased exercise, increased fluid intake, major dietary changes, or etc.? And what type of test did they do? ## Thank you f...

I have been on the suboxone program for three years, today when I called I was told they spun my results and it came back very low like it's been "watered down" but my adderall came back fine. Now here's the odd thing, some days I miss my dose of adderall but have never missed a dose of my suboxone? So how that sounds accurate blows my mind? Another thing they have never weighed me, so how are they comparing these levels? I drink up to 6 redbulls a day have a fast metabolism that still don't explain my adderall not being low though? An every lab test spun, I've ever done my urine got sent right to the place. This place in Williamsport PA they just keep our urine cup apparently, bc it's always been done the dipstick method. Now today they say they sent it out?...

Hi, I was put on the 8 mg. strips at 3 per day in Oct. 2012..I used 3 per day for a couple of month's.. I quickly tapered down to 1&1/2 of the strip's per day..I got so tired of being on it so I began to stock pile it to withdraw on it at home.. I got down to 1-2 mg.s per day for about the past month and began yesterday (Monday) withdrawing..It's now Tuesday (July 9,2013) and still feel like I did yesterday.. No vomiting nor the big "D" but sweating, lethargic, chilling, feel achy, etc.. How long will it take for the withdrawal's to completely go away..PLEASE answer ASAP & THANKS....Oh, don't scare me about it because I'm all ready an emotional wreck.. ## Hi, Shay! i just need to know how long untill i take a drug test it wont show up in my urine ## From what I a reading, most opiates can be detected in urine for 3 days, although this can vary due to your metabolism and how much you have been taking and for how long. Suboxone is an opiate and will show up as one. However, if you have a prescription, then all you have to do is alert them to this fact, when you go in to have the test done. Do you have any other questions? ## Suboxone is an OPIOD not and Opiate and does NOT show up in any drug screen unless specifically looking for it. No employers use this unelss you are going to be piolot or such. ## I took one soboxin yesterday (24hrs) and now want to use my my directed opitate as perscribed. I this okay, will it work negatively or what? ## I'...

I took a qtr of saboxn sat night n have a drug test friday i havent did no kind of drugu in about 7 months. N i weigh 155 n in decent shape do u think i will b able to pass the test plus ive been drinking water plz let me knw what i should do thanks very much ## Andy, There isn't anything you can do. Drinking water will have no effect in the metabolic breakdown for this substance.7 months of drug free recovery is awesome.Relapse is a normal part of the recovery process. There are no guarantees but such a small dose almost a week out will most probably be negative IF that was the only dose you used. Hang in there. ## So drinking water doesn't help get it out of ur system or is it mainly on ur metabolism? Plus it's i think a 6 or 7 panel cup n stick test. Jus a lil afraid n as...

I take 3 8 mg suboxone on 2 days a week how long if I stop tomorrow will it be out of my system so I can pass a urine test and lab test? ## Don,t know how long it takes to leave system but unless there specifically testing for suboxone your probably gonna be allright. My dr. told me that most jobs don,t test for bupe. its kind of expensive. ## U have have a special test for subs it looks like a pregnancy test and most jobs don't go that far nun that I known of only sub clinics to check u r taking it ## It takes suboxone 7-14 days if you are on more that 1 a day ## And what if you are only taking one 20 per day, will it register on a stick test (urine)? ## Subs will not show up on a regular Urine drug test... ## I took a 1/4 of suboxone 2 days in a row. My friend gets drugged tested each week. If it comes out positive to any controlled substance he goes to jail. 10 days ago, his test came back false/ positive for his urine drug test at his jail. They sent it off to be screened and it showed 130 milligrams of suboxin in it. He swears he hasn't taken anything like that!! All he has taken in the last couple of weeks is 4 ibruprofins! I am thinking someone slipped it in a drink at work....can someone help me here about what the next step would be to prove his innocence? ## If they sent it off to a lab for further screening and it still showed a positive for it, then it isn't very likely that it's a false positive and it's doubtful there's much he can do. When they do an initial test, such as the dip ones and they show a...
