Is there a dr in greeneville tn that can write suboxone or methadone for chronic back pain? I was on suboxone for pain management and the clinic said they had to wean me off due to the fact i was on it for pain. Can someone help please? I've not been treated in 7 months, still in lots of pain. ## I have been told that there is a special license/training to be able to write for Suboxone. Look on the Suboxone web page for a licensed physician. Problem is that once your on this medication unless it is stated in a document that you're on it for pain management, others WILL ASSUME, that you were put on it for opioid dependence/addiction. Many doctors who are not licensed to write for this are not aware that it is now being used for the treatment of Chronic pain. I have been in chroni...

How do I add suboxone to clean urine and how much do I add? ## If suboxone is not metabolized youre ua will come up dirty for "oxy". You cant just add it to urine synthetic or not ## How much suboxone can I put in real urine to show up in drug test ## Um yes you can. If it doesn't get sent to a lab to test for metabolites you are fine. I just did it today. No false positive for oxy. Just a perfect drug test positive for bup, negative for everything else.

I need a Doctor that will accept my peachstate health insurance that prescribes suboxone near Lilburn GA. ## There is a website that lets you search for doctors that provide treatment with Suboxone in your area. You can find it atSuboxone.com and use their search database. From there, you'd just need to check with any local doctors about the types of insurance they accept. Does anyone have a doctor they can suggest? ## thank you for responding it was not easy at all but I did find a wonderful physician that I saw today in fact with Jydes family practice for future reference to anyone looking for a doctor that accepts medicaid and prescribes suboxone. ## Hi I was just wondering, did they prescribe it to you immediately and was it totally covered by Medicaid?? My wife is pregnant and I just found out she has been taking Subutex for several months. To make matters worse she's been trying to taper off this drug under the advise of someone she met at other forums. She hasn't let the doctor know she's been taking this drug and this guy has her convinced he can taper her off without harming the baby. I'm besides myself and trying to get her to at least let the doctor monitor her progress on a regular basis while she gets off this stuff. Is this really safe for her to be doing or am I right in thinking she's lost her mind trusting this person? ## I am on subutex and pregnant. My doctor believes that the safest thing I can do is stay on the meds. If I go through withdrawals, so does baby. ## I would highly suggest (sounds better ...

I have had many serious injurys and am going through breast cancer now. In tampa the doctors just wanted to give me more opiates until I couldn't take it.I checked in to detox and met a doctor there who put me on suboxone for long term pain treatment and it works great for me.I also take Xanax for my severe anxiety attacks. I have had to move to Minn near Minneapolis to care for my mom{altzeimers} and I cant find a psychiatrist who takes full medicare and Medicaid. The one i had retired suddenly to care for his wife with same disease as my mom.All I can find now are self pays and I don't have that kind of money ## Hello, Chris! How are you? Due to the regulations that were put in place last year, you'll actually need to see specialists for both medications. Do you have a PCP...

Ive been on suboxone for 8 years. Since 2006. I know a lot about the pharmaceutical properties of medications from being an addict and being obsessed with learning everything i could about them. I hear these myths about generics not being as good as the brand name and so on, let me tell you something, to become a generic the main ingredients, the ones that actually effect you HAVE to be in the exact same quantities, So if these orange 375's have 8 mg Bup/2 Mg Nal then they will effect you THE EXACT SAME WAY AS a strip ( which I'm on, and was on the old N8's forever, and so glad they have these strips now), have taken the 375's, and its the same. Is the placebo effect that strong? I cant stand hearing friends try and tell me how this medication isn't as good as the ne...

I'm prescribed cephalexin for a UTI and want to start taking my suboxone strips to help with my H withdrawals. Is it safe to take the two together? ## Hi Shamana, Looking at umm.edu's drug interaction checker, I didn't see any discrepancies listed between Suboxone (buprenorphine + naloxone) and Cephalexin. So based off that information alone, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to take the two together, unless instructed otherwise by your doctor. Also, as long as it was the same doctor who prescribed both meds, I think it's highly unlikely that he/she would give you two things that couldn't be used at the same time. Although it never hurts to double check just to be on the safe side! I hope this helps! ## Is it OK to take suboxene 3mg and Keflex 5...

Hi All! I had been taking about 30-30mg percs a day or the equivalent in 10s and 15s depending on what I could find. I started on suboxone three weeks ago. My first week I took 1 8/2 mg strip a day. When I went in for my first follow up I explained to the doctor I wasn't feeling well (stomach pain, no energy, no desire to eat, couldn't sleep) and he felt I was experiencing withdrawal symptoms so he increased the dosage to 2 8/2 strips a day. According to him I should feel better and better every day and should start having more and more energy. I don't feel any better at all. Is it a dosage issue or is this normal? I don't have cravings for pills but I'm tired of feeling miserable every day. Any suggestions? Thank you! ## How long has it been since Dr. increased your...

how long dose it keep pain away? I was given this by the doctor but i'm prescribed suboxone 8mg. Doesn't that defeat the purpose and will it hurt me if I mix the two? I took 1mg of sub at 1pm and my ABG 60 at 6:30 pm. ## Seems stupid. Suboxone fills your receptors full so you never feel a high that how it gets you off the opiates. Taking the morophine is stupid dont do it. Just take suboxone and slowly wean yourself off. Makes no sense to take the morphine when that what suboxone is trying to get you of off. ## Tim is correct, the Naloxone in Suboxone is intended to neutralize other opiates, to prevent their abuse, while someone is being treated with it, and the Buprenorphine in it is an opiate that takes a stronger hold on your opiate receptors than the others do, so it essenti...

Iam trying to find primary care physician who excepts MEDICARE/ Unitedhealth and TNCARE Primary care physician whom can legally subscribe SUBOXONE TABLETS In Johnson City TN, Bristol TN, Elizabethton TN or Kingsport TN ## Hello, Caudill! How are you? For addiction treatment, no PCP can legally prescribe it. That can only be done by doctors that have the waiver to treat with it. You can search for doctors in your area by using the search engine on the website Suboxone.com click here. Their contact information will be included, so you can check to see if they accept your insurance and are accepting new patients. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as...

I've been seeing a lot of posts regarding taking benzos while on Suboxone. It is ok to take a benzo w/ suboxone - as long as you're taking the prescribed dosages you'll be fine. Now if you're taking 3 or 4 8mgs of Suboxone and say 5 or 6 Xanax that's not good, that's where the reported deaths have come from. I've been on Subs for 5 yrs. I've also been subscribed klonopin and am currently taking valium w/ it and it's fine. I'm on a low dose and only take what I am prescribed. How long after taking 30mg oxycodone should you start to take suboxone? ## Hi Willis, u should wait until u r having withdrawal symptoms, b 4 u start the suboxone. It won't work and can make u feel sick if you don't wait. U don't have 2 b in a ball crawled up 2 wait. But, once u start feeling those withdrawals, u will know its time. ## Yes,Cats right. You gotta be in wds before you take the sub. If you take it too soon you chance whats called precipitated withdrawalls. You DON,T want that to happen. To be safe wait 16-18hrs. ## Hi Jolter, how r u doing, I'm fine. Just tired all the time. Think it's the subs and other meds I take. ## You only need to go into withdrawals then take one Suboxone. Take a second Suboxone the next day and never take anymore. This will get y...

Hi everyone. Hopefully someone out there has some advice for me. I have been on subs since October 17th of '12 and I take it everyday HOW PRESCRIBED which is 1 and 1/2, total 12 mugs a day of the 8mg strips. I don't take at a set time or anything like that and sometimes don't take at all or at least the whole prescribed amount. Well long story short here; I take drug tests every month and sometimes twice a month for my sub doctor and have never had a problem with my results. I have also taken pre-employment screens and they are fine as well. All of these tests are urine. Well back in November I had an appt with a caseworker at JFS to review my sobriety and caseplan progress. I took a half strip before I went in and, if I remember correctly, that was all I had taken that day....

I have been on suboxone for a while. However the Dr I am currently seeing is falling short on his duties as a Dr. He didn't come in until 4pm on Friday and 6 of us were told to come back Saturday. Well Saturday after waiting for 7 hours he called the office and said he wasn't coming and he's only open Thursday-Saturday most weeks and none at all other weeks. He's impossible to reach to even get medicine called in. Anyways. In short I am in need of a suboxone Dr that accepts Tenn care in the Memphis and surrounding areas. Or one that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Please. I'm a mom of 4 and am so very desperate to not be sick anymore. Thanks. ## Hello, Katherine! How are you? I've always gotten the orange Amneal marked AN 415. Recently in the past few months the main pharmacy I was using Walgreens were telling me that they were out of those kind and I had to look for pharmacies that did have them after receiving the white Actavis brand which was the worst switch! I just looked right next door to Safeways who did have them. Eventually Walgreens told me they were no longer going to be getting those kind after telling me that they were on "back order" for so long. The pharmacist who is usually nice was a jerk about it also. So I moved permanently (or so I hoped) to Safeway but the last 2 months they too ran out and were allot nicer in telling me that they have been having a hard time ordering the Amneal orange ones and that they might not be getting...

For withdrawal from prescription pills ## Want to know how long it takes for savoxin to come out of your system? ## The correct drug name is Suboxone and the length of time can vary from about 24 hours to 4 days or so, depending on how long you have been on it and how much you have been taking. ## Does this mimic opiates in the body? Would a lab analysis register it the same way? ## I’m on OxyContin an I want off. I heard this was a way with savoxin??? Anyone know what to do? Richard x

My husband has been taking fentanal patches for 2 years. He chews it after cutting it in strips. He usually does 50 mg to 75 mg a day. He took his last piece yesterday. He is laying in bed, contorted. He is shaking and saying crazy stuff. I don't think he even knows where he is. How long will this go on? Is this normal? He took a suboxine and a xanex (I don't know how to spell this stuff). What can I do to help ## Hello, Lily257! How is he doing? When someone is in that type of condition, you should seek medical assistance for them. That can be very dangerous and there is really nothing you can do to help. The Suboxone likely through him into severe withdrawals, it's very dangerous to take it, while you still have other drugs in your system. ## Thank you for your reply. He i...

I have been on suboxone 8mg 2 a day for 13 years. I started taking goli apple cider vitamins about a month ago. My problem is my Suboxone quarantine test game back saying I have no Suboxone in my system. I never mentioned to the doctor I started taking Goli. Now I'm going through withdrawal from Suboxone because the doctor thinks I never took my meds and didn't write my prescription for this month. I just took another Suboxone level test yesterday and it gets sent out. I'm asking is the goli messing up my test? I swear I have not taken anything else and I was getting ready to take the new shot available to finally get off Suboxone. I've been trying for years to get off this an I can't do it. The shot looks promising but now I'm stuck because of the test saying I ...
