I know Suboxone does not show up in a standard urine test. But the job I am applying for may do an extended test. I have a prescription from my Doc. I am on 16 mg a day and it is working great. How long after quitting saboxin before you get sick? Physically? My son has been on saboxin for almost a year and when he dont have it he says he is sick and his stomach hurts. Is this true? Is this a generic 8mg suboxone buphnorphine pill? ## No - tablets marked with a 44 followed by 3 additional numbers are all over the counter products. This one is currently being manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 50mgs of Dinenhydrinate. The FDA lists this medication as being used to treat or prevent nausea, vomiting and vertigo. Its typical side effects include drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. How long before suboxone wears off? I have been on a maintenance dose for 2 months. 16mg a day. My last does was thursday of 12mg and today is monday still can't feel the opiates I have been taking since then????? how long before this stuff wears off?? ## After that many days, it is definitely out of your system. The problem is more than likely due to the fact that you've gone from taking a very strong opiate to much milder ones now, so they aren't having any effect. What is small white pill with half moon on one side and 154 imprint on other My friend said its a generic 2mg suboxone I was on this med for a yr and never seen one look like this and worried about my friend taking this pill and no it wasn't prescribed to him from a Doc. I have seen white ones they treat for pregnant woman and orange ones in 8mg an 2mg and no research on internet says is a suboxone of any kind. ## While I haven't come across an exact match to your pill, I did find out that the manufacturer "Actavis" makes white round pills with a half moon logo. What does 8mg/2mg mean? Dont know what strength I'm taking? ## Hi Veronica - 8mg/2mg means that the drug has two main active ingredients. And they are 8mg and 2mg per dose respectively. May I ask what you were prescribed? It sounds like Suboxone if I had to guess. For example, a single dose of Suboxone commonly contains 8 mg of Buprenorphine with 2 mg of Naloxone. Since I've been taking this new generic suboxone 54 375 it make my arms and hands hurt!! I've been taking suboxone for 3 years now, and I've been switched to most everyone that's came out. I was taking the orange with AN 415 on them. It's now been 7 days and everyday it does the same, causes pain in my arms and hands. Then as the suboxone wears off they stop hurting. The Doc put me on 5 a day 8mg pills. In all 40mg a day. It makes me really tired during the day, then at night I have Insomnia. I guess it's better then taking Opiates again. It's truely changed my life? If only I can sleep! ## My doctor started me on four a day, which happens to be way to much. I don't know the exstent of your using but I can tell you that I was bad as they come. If you want to sleep then stop taking so much, no one needs that much suboxone. Hi. Im on suboxone and xanax xr and prozac 40-60 mg day. Subone was great first two wks, now i have a ton of anxiety and major body jerks. I was on 8 mg subs so i went down to 2 and woke up today in wds. So i took a 1 mg subs and a 1 mg xanax xr. No prozac yet. Hi I have been going to a suboxone doctor for a little over a year now, and about 2 weeks ago I went in to my appt and the doc made me sign a paper stating that after September 1st I would no longer be getting prescubed subutext due to the DEA asking questions in their office.. I have been on morphine for about 7 weeks. I take about 100 to 200mg a day. I am about to switch to methadone in the morning. I am going to take 30mg tomorrow morning and 20mg the next morning. Then on the third day I plan on switching to suboxone. I only have 6mg of suboxone to take on the third day. But my question is, Is it safe to take the 6mg of suboxone 24 hrs after taking the methadone for two days,(30mg the first day and 20mg the second day)?? I'm scared to death of going into precipitated withdrawal when I switch to the suboxone, but I can't get any more methadone and all I have is the 6mg of suboxone. I have just started Suboxone 8/2, since the Fentanyl patches (150 mg) were not making a difference in the severe pain that I was experiencing. I was told there was nothing else they (Dr.s) could do for me. They said they could not go up on the Fentanyl. I saw 9 specialists at Emory University. Eight of the docs said there was nothing left to do and I would have to live with it. Only 1 doctor, a surgeon, said he could take out a portion of my brain so that I could not feel pain anymore. I opted for the Suboxone trial. It worked better for me than the Fentanyl patches. I divide my doses so that I can take the med every 4 hours around the clock. My son has a very severe drug addiction to pain med. He has turned to one of the strongest on the street and is now using needles. He has really hit bottom and wants to quit. Someone told him about Suboxone and said that it would help him to break his addiction. Is it a safe drug to use to quit, or does it only replace one addiction for another? Okay. So I have been on Suboxone for about a year and I am just fed up. In my opinion (and I'm sure many others) my doctor is doing it for the money and is not very well read. I have been stuck at 8 mg. sometimes I drop down to 7 but it varies. I have an incredibly fast metabolism. I can't break 100 lbs, I eat constantly, and I'm 22. I go into withdrawal very fast. I have gone through w/d plenty of times. The worst was the last time, when I kicked my opiate habit cold turkey in detox. I refused meds and just went through the motions. It was horrible but over fast. When I have kicked Suboxone, I tend to feel better after three days. But that's just me.
