Is there anything else I can help with?
When I get my urine test to keep taking suboxone, will they be looking for marijuana use? ## I know they test for it at a methadone clinic, but dont fuss at me about it when it comes back positive. ## Uhhh yeah they will test for that and any other illegal substance. It's an addiction clinic, of course they will. Wow, duh. If this is your first test, that you fail, some docs will give you a second chance under some stipulations of course. Some will drop you immediately though. Just remember you are seeing an addiction specialist and they are used to ppl either relapsing or using other things. Everyone messes up. Your best bet would to be to tell them and just beh honest. It sounds like this is your first reup at the clinic so I'm taking it's your first month you had yout scr...
My husband asked his dr for a medicine to help him stop getting fever blisters everytime he was in the sun for long periods of time, he gave him a prescription for cyclobenzapr, read about it and it days its a muscle relaxer, will it even help with fever blisters and can he take it while on suboxone? ## Hello, KC! How are you and your husband? No, fever blisters are caused by a herpes simplex virus, exposure to the sun tends to wake it up and cause a flare, so this medication will not do anything to prevent them, because as you said, it is a muscle relaxant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. It can be taken with the Suboxone, though it will increase the sedation and drowsiness, so this should be done with caution. The...
Ok I was supposed to get mine suboxone field on the 1st of this month but the insurance said there was some problem with the approval so I had to wait long story short I had to get home field on the 6 but they said they backdated it to the first does that mean that I get them filled on the first again next month or is it now on the 6th could anybody help me with this ## You should be able to get them filled 30 days from the date on the prescription. Did they give you a few to hold you over from the first until the sixth or did you have enough? It's always 30 days from the date on the prescription.
After finding that Suboxone would be detrimental to my health and I am trying to detox methadone, are there other alternatives? ## I am 72. I've used 35 years. Have been on Methadon since 1999 and am now at 20 mgs. After making an appointment for Suboxone I see that I am not a good candidate because of health issues. I'm asking if anyone knows of any alternatives other than suboxne type substances? ## Hello, Boogie! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're having. It depends on what type of health issues are causing the problem. Some people that can't take Suboxone are able to Subutex, which is Buprenorphine, without the Naloxone. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be h...
It's just like suboxone except they mainly give it to pregnant women whp are coming off drugs. Subutex is safer then Suboxone during pregnancy. ## That is correct, this tablet is an 8mg sublingual Buprenorphine tablets, that's a generic for Subutex. It is used to replace Suboxone in pregnant woman or in people that may be allergic to Naloxone. Learn more Buprenorphine details here. Are there any questions or comments? ## My friend got these pills and they are supposed to be suboxone. They are round and white. One side has 155 and the other side is a moon shape. Can someone please tell me what these pills are? Thanks! ## It is a new pill that is replacing the orange pills that are suboxone. There must be a chemical in the films that causes painful ulcers around the bottom of my tongue, when I take the film now it burns so bad I cannot tolerate it. Are there other options or other ways to take it thats proven, please..no BS, ok. ## Hello, Frank! How are you? There are pills available, as both generics and name brand Suboxone. You might want to speak to your doctor about designating that you receive tablets on your prescription. It would be best to let your doctor see the sores in your mouth, so they know what's wrong. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have them too and have tried everything. U...
Just seeing if anyone had free trails of suboxone ot cheap coupons.im from Alaska I pay cash no insurance 700.00 s month ## Hi Kristy, If you're trying to save money on your medication, I would recommend looking into various prescription drug 'discount cards' that you can print off from your computer and show your pharmacy at the time of filling your script. A simple google search should bring up some options for you in that area. Another alternative would be to ask your pharmacy if there are any "patient assistance programs" for Suboxone. From what I understand, there are certain drug manufacturers who offer these types of programs for patients who otherwise can't afford their medication. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Suboxone Details I hope...

If you are running out of suboxone, you can cut about 4 slivers out of one 8 and it will last 4 days without withdrals...unlike an oxy, you can maintain a good quality of life...if you hate withdrawls, please take care of your rx and do the math.
UpdatedWE are all trying to kick that nasty opiate addiction. We are killing ourselves w oxy, H, etc. But all my online research shows that longterm sub use is HELL ON EARTH! Its great for 4-5 days to wd. Id like to use it twice a week, for maintenance, which hopefully i can do. But it has crazy side effects and wd is almost impossible. Im trying exercise, nutrition, and Church. Wish me luck! But if anyone can avoid this, plz do. Same with any benzodiazepines like valium and xanax, HELL TO GET OFF OF, if u even can. Sub can b used at times. But never daily! Just sharing. God bless! Speaking of, God completely healed me of alcoholism in a supernatural healing. I stupidly took up opiates. If you want to quit drugs, cry out to Jesus. Im not joking! He may just heal you. Google, "jesus drugs t...
So I'm on sub for pain management. I started it August 2013. I was on upwards of 720 30mg IR morphine and oxycodone with no abuse issues, but most certainly my body was dependent and I felt like the pills were causing more pain than not. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis that started in August of 2009, and so far nothing to treat RA has worked for me. So I entered pain management for chronic pain. Anyway, knowing my body was fully dependent I wanted to w/d in a safe environment away from home and chose a clinic near Boulder, CO. I was expecting them to give me clonadine or something of the sort, but they didn't. In the middle of my w/d, or as I call it, Indian Sweat Hut moment they gave me something to put under my tongue, I slept like a baby. The next morning I woke with a migraine a...
I have been using 1 mg of suboxone once in the late morning for the past 3-4 days while waiting for a refill on my 30mg morphine tabs. I took a dose of the suboxone around 10:38 this morning, so the question is: will I be okay to take a dose of my morphine around 6:30 this evening? It will have been about 8 hours. ## Hello, Sasha! How are you? I will still take several days for the Suboxone to release from your opiate receptors, so you'll need to give it about 3 days, before the Morphine will be able to have any effect. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have been dismissed from my practice in Reidsville BC who prescribe me Suboxone for pain relief because I was "excessively demanding" and because I "cussed" at an employee, which isn't true. I had been suffering from left hip pain which is my good hip (shattered pelvis in 2003) starting the second week in May. I had told my office about it multiple times but I had been pushed off to their PA which was unable to do anything all I was asking for was a MRI and a injection. Finally the end of June I got to see the doctor after demanding that I would not see the PA that my appt was with the doctor & that's who I needed to see because of my new hip problems on my good side. He walked in the room & crossed his arm and said he was NOT going to up my medicine I ...
UpdatedI'm in A LOT of pain. I smashed my toe this morning...the subs, which I've been on for 2 weeks to get of 35 mgs of Methadone, are not helping to relieve the pain. I only have 2 15 mg Oxy's and 2 norcos...I just want some relief from the toe pain, and then go back on the subs ASAP. I would ask my Dr, but it's Sunday. Thanks. ## Hello, Ginger! How are you? The Suboxone will block the effect of the Oxycodone and Norco, so there is no point in taking them. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you tried ice on your toe? You may need to go to the ER to have it x-rayed.
I get prescribed Suboxone films 8/2 and the cost is killing me. Will the discount card work at a discount pharmacy? ## Hello, Preston! How are you? You'll need to ask the pharmacy in question, if they accept it. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What pharmacy do you use? If you can post back with this information, someone may know.
I dont know is 5721/93the genic suboxne and how do you get a discount. rx card if I took my last dose of 10mg percent this morning when should I start my 5721/93 ## Hello, Jax! How are you? You have to be in full withdrawal from any other opiates, before you can safely take Suboxone, otherwise, it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. Thus, you should follow your doctor's prescribing instructions. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There is a discount savings card that you can sign up for on the website. You can find it at Suboxone.com click here. Is there anything ...
