How long do I have to wait to take my roxy after only taken two subs got two days ## @Shelly, Based on feedback I've seen in other related discussion threads, it's probably a good idea to wait at least a few days until the suboxone is out of your body and you're in a state of withdrawals. This is because if you were to take the roxy (oxycodone) too soon, chances are that you may not even feel its effects. I know everyone is different though when it comes to these meds and a few days is really just a rough estimate.. So if you're able to I'd still encourage you to talk with your doctor about this first. Does anyone else have advice to add from personal experience? ## I have done this several times in the past, I narrowed it down to 12 hours since you took your last su...
I am interested in a pharmacy discount card. I am getting off of opiates with suboxone. It is costing as much, if not more than drugs I was originally prescribed. I have been taking opiates everyday. Yesterday I decided to start suboxone to detox at home. I took 12mg of suboxone too soon and went into severe withdrawal. Hello. I am new to this but I came here looking for help. My mother has been using suboxone now for 5 years. She was addicted to pain pills for years and years prior to using suboxone. I'm very concerned because she looks more zonked and out of in now than her worst days using drugs. She falls asleep constantly over counters, falls every night because she's constantly falling asleep while standing up. Please help educate me. She says this is normal and she just has a sleeping disorder. She's on 32mg suboxone/day. 5 years on it now. Do you guys experience this? IS she on too much? Why is the doctor prescribing her so much. She can't even function. ## Hello, Dee! How are you? That is the highest recommend dosage, but only her doctor can decide if it's right for your mo...
I have been taking suboxone for a week, only 8 mg a day, but over 24 hours ago i only took a half of a 8 mg strip, will I be able to feel pain mess now. It's been 28 hrs since i took half strip. ## @Akc, Due to buprenorphine's long half life of 24 - 60 hours (as reported by samhsa.gov), I would probably encourage you to wait a little longer in-between stopping suboxone and starting narcotic pain meds in order to get the most out of them. If still in doubt you could also take a drug panel to gauge how much suboxone is left in your body. But that might be more trouble than it's worth v.s. just waiting it out for an extra day or two. I hope this helps! Please post back if you're able to update us on how things went.
My Suboxone Strips are straight from the pharmacy so they have never been opened but they are "alot smaller" now and Iam mad but I dont know how to ask Suboxone manufacturers..my pharmacy would think I'm crazy probably so any thoughts? ## It just depends on what fillers and excipients they use in them, there is no specific size that they must be, as long as they contain the full dose they are supposed to. The size itself really means nothing. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Why did you go all pharmacy tech on us at the end there? Not helpful at all! In fact you didn't really have anything usefu...

Please help, keep getting different answers! ## I'm curious about this to I take suboxone & wanna konw if I can take diluadid... ## Can you give a little history? How long have you been taking the it? are you taking more than just 8 mg? ## Yes, you have to be in full withdrawal, before you can take Suboxone, or it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. HELP! I have NEVER taken Suboxone in my life. I've never even seen it in real life. After 5 years of clean urine screens for pain management, I suddenly tested positive for it in June. I swore to my doctor I hadn't taken Suboxone or anything else not prescribed to me (because it was and is true) he said he had never seen a false positive but that he was inclined to believe me and would run more specific tests. I went back in a few days ago and he said that I had tested positive a second time, that Suboxone contains a very specific molecule that cannot be misidentified and that he would chalk it up to adulterants in my medications if other patients had tested positive, but no one else had. I'm pretty sure he doesn't believe me anymore. He was willing to send one more samp...
