I'm sorry, but treatment with Suboxone requires you to actually be physically seen and examined by a doctor that has a waiver to treat with it. You will also, most likely, be required to attend some type of counseling. You can search for a doctor that treats with it in your area by using the search feature on the website Suboxone.com click here. It lets you search by zip code and their contact information will be included. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can hel...
Here is my ?'s. I have been taking subs now for 7 to 8 yrs or so. I went to my dr and told him i was going to be having lots of teeth taken out. What do i do? HE SAID LETS STOP THE SUBOXONE. SO THE pain meds will work as long as you do take subs for 3 days before should be good. Then the ky rx would not fill the #5 lortabs because i was prescribed suboxone. When did the pharmacist get the right to not do there job? I explained the deal as i stood there in pain, so no choice but to get what I could. That's what scares me. Is there a drug made that can cancel out the suboxone in case of emergency or do i have to just suffer (should i ever need open heart surgery or any surgery? Lots of questions to come. Thanks. Hey my fellow pals who understand what addiction is! So many of us have it and its the hardest thing to quit even if you WANT to! Right u know im right but dont blame yourself cuz statistics say that additive personalities are in our genes. We are the lucky ones that got it from your mom, father, grandfather, grandmother etc. Anyway what i guess i am trying to say that it down right fn sucks, its a big ass monkey on our backs and its NOT EASY to just STOP. Where do we get the strength and WILLPOWER?! I am sooooo mad at myself cuz i have been clean for many years. It started with 4 operations on my foot with no more pills of course i was so afraid of the withdrawal effect. So i went on a suboxone program. So what happens, i break 4 ribs and bruised my lung! Of course i needed painkillers...
UpdatedI no longer have insurance and I am wondering if there were any free treatment centers in the Birmingham Alabama that prescribed silicone? ## Hello, Connie! How are you? Unfortunately, there are none that treat with Suboxone that I'm aware of, it is actually provided by private doctors that have the special waver to treat with it. Have you considered Methadone treatment? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I would stay away from methadone. Bad for your teeth. Makes you sleepy. More easy to decrease your suboxone than methadone. That's my opinion .
Today is my first day at IOT.. I had a head injury one year ago .. Was given extremely high doses of oxy for 5 weeks .. Which turned into a very bad habit .. I took about 60mg a day .. They just gave me 2mg subx my Mind has settled but still feel like a drank 3 pots of coffee on the inside .. Does subx make you feel totally normal ? Or just keep you from getting sick ? ## Hello, Krissy! How are you feeling? Have things improved, at all? The Suboxone should eventually make you feel normal, but it can take a couple of tries to get the right dosage. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## ho...
I have been on Suboxone for a little over a year now. I am now off the roxy. Anyway, my question is: My doctor does a panel test to test for the usual. Then she will do a separate test for Suboxone. I smoke pot. This has come up positive on my tests before and she says she normally wouldn’t care, but to her this means, “I am hanging around the wrong crowd and might relapse.†I have used clean urine from another person before and dissolved a small piece of the film in it. When I do this the panel test shows a faint line for opiates. Then I swear up and down I haven’t taken a roxy in over a year (true), and then she will do a separate test just for Suboxone and roxy. Dissolving a small piece into the clean urine made the ...
Does this new suboxone work as well as the others i just got these myself ## No. ## @m1hullxjunky (thread starter), From what I'm finding, the answer is likely going to be different for each and every individual depending on a variety of differentiating factors, (such as tolerance, age, weight, metabolism, variations in binders/fillers from previous suboxone tablets, etc),... Tracy says "No" there not as effective, but the gentleman in this other discussion thread linked below says "Yes", they are: Discuss/peach-round-pill-54-375-274817.htm So it seems the only true way to know for sure is to actually it for yourself and see how that stacks up with what you've been previously taking. I hope this helps! ## Not as strong. But as long as I'm staying straight I d...
I have been taking suboxone for 2 years. Out of nowhere I just recently (2 weeks) developed what appears to be contact dermatitis. It started as a single red itchy spot and has spread ferociously over the last 2 weeks. Nothing has changed dosage wise. I also took in two foster kittens but the first red spot occurred before the kittens came and I have owned cats my entire life. Is it possible to develop an allergy to suboxone at random? There is no other side effects, no swelling of face or tongue no nausea or dizziness. The dermatitis (we'll call it) is only on my torso and arms. I just need to know if it's even possible to develop an allergy to this after being on it for so long? It doesn't make sense. Please help! ## Hello, James! How are you? I'm sorry about the probl...
I don't take anything except Gabapentin. I just showed up positive for Buprenorphine. How? Omg I'm freaking out!!! How does this happen?? ## YES!!! I took melatonin and had a positive on my urine test for suboxone and this was the only none prescription I had taken so I knew that had to be it. I didn't take the melatonin that night and went back the next day and tested clean. I also had 5 nurses standing around with me as we crushed up one of the melatonin and dissolved it in water and tested it and it came up POSITIVE. As one of the nurses said, the melatonin made the test go crazy.
I take 8, 4ml dilaudid a day. This morning I tried to start on suboxone and went into the worst physical withdrawal experience I have ever experienced. I am scared to try again. How long is a safe time frame after my last dose to take the strip? I can't go through that again. ## Hello, Aleesha! How are you? Unless your doctor has instructed otherwise, you must be in full withdrawal, before taking Suboxone. There's no specific time frame that can be given, it van vary from person to person, but it has to be full withdrawal. The FDA classifies Suboxone as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I live in Alma Ga small town and there's only one doctor who treats the addiction. After months of trying I can't get the doc or nurse to approve. If there's one in GA may I have the number? I'd drive. I have to secure my kids and my anxiety is worse knowing I have to call around get on sites to plea for help. I have some bad pain and I don't take any narcotics at all. I was just wondering if I take one half of an 8mg suboxone pill (4mg), how long will it take to get out of my system for a urine test? I haven't took any thing yet at all. I'm 136 lbs and 5 ft tall.

Does anyone recommend subsolv over suboxone ## Some people prefer one over the other, depending on which seems to work better for them. Which has your doctor recommended? Can anyone that's taking one of these medications chime in? The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
OK. I was dependent on oxycodone and norco for over a year. Started taking suboxone at just 8mg a day (that's not low, subs are extremely strong). Every 4 days I took off a mg till I was down to 1mg. After 4 days on 1mg I stopped and very light withdrawal for just ONE DAY! Then I was fine! As far as taking norco with suboxone, I just waited 5 hours and didn't go into WD but didn't feel the norco at all. So you need to wait a few days to feel opiates after taking suboxone, but I don't recommend that because you may not be out of your sub withdrawals (just not realizing it) and go into WD. Wait 2 weeks. I went cold turkey of of 80mg oxycodone per day and it was hell, so I can call subs a miracle. If you taper right you'll have almost NO WD! Hope this PSA helps.
UpdatedTook only two doses of suboxone hated it when can I go back to pecocet ## Hello, Kitty! How are you? You'll need to wait about 3 days, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. Otherwise the Naloxone in the Suboxone will prevent the Percocet from working. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Today is Sunday a I have been taking 1/3 of an 8/mg strip everyday for about 12 days. I have surgery on wed., I'm also Being put to sleep. My question is after I take a third Sunday if I stop completely will I be ok on wed for the surgery and pain mess after ## Hello, Jesse! How are you? There is a chance that the Naloxone in the Suboxone could cause problems with the anesthesia and prevent pain medications from working, after surgery. So, it's very important that you tell the surgeon you're taking it and see how far off from surgery they want you to stop taking it. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, d...
Hi. I've been taking about 1-1 & half mg a day of suboxone for a while now & I think I have to have blood work done on the 31st b4 my Hep Dr starts the treatment. I've stopped taking it 3 days ago, so it would be over 10 days when they do the bloodwork. What are the chances of me testing clean? If I dont test clean, I was told that my insurance wont pay for my treatment, & so I'm screwed totally! Any educated help or advice would be greatly appreciated, please. Thanx
UpdatedI've been on suboxone for 8 years, I take random DOT urine drug tests & suboxone definitely 100% for sure does not come up at all! ## The reason it doesn't show up is because the Buprenorphine isn't tested for on the standard tests, it requires a specific special test in order to be detected. Learn more Suboxone details here. That's why it's usually only detected by pain management physicians that are specifically looking for it. Are there any comments or questions? ## Very correct... Tired of so many people stressin out for nothin when all they have ta do is read ur post.. I can attest to that it does not show unless specifically tested for... ## I am on the suboxone program and I an urine tested every week. Last week I used pee that belonged to someone else I f...
