Looking for a subpxone doctor near Atlanta that takes tricare ## Hello, Chetyl! How are you? There is a search engine you can use at the site, Suboxone.com click here. It allows you to search by zip code and wil provide the doctor's contact information, so you can check to see if they accept your insurance and are taking new patients. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Which I am prescribed, I've never heard of it tested on anim immediate urine sample except for my doctors office. I'd say your best bet would to try...

How many 8mg/2mg suboxone does a person take in a day? ## Hello, Cathy! How are you? You should always follow your doctor's dosing instructions. The right amount can vary from person to person, depending on the drug they were abusing and how much of it they were taking. The highest recommended dosage is 32/8mgs daily. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have had 6 neck surgeries need another and have 4 disc that are messed up my Dr prescribed me 3 80 mg oxycotin 3percocet and 4 soma a day and I want to get off them an get on suboxine so I ...

Does anyone know if Suboxone works for nerve pain and how much does it cost a month ## Hello, Karen! How are you? Some people get good results taking it for pain, but not all, it varies from person to person. As to the cost, unfortunately, that can vary greatly from area to area and pharmacy to pharmacy, as well, so I can't quote you a price. The FDA classifies it as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## It varies but currently in the Southern CA area it's going for anywhere from $220-260. I get mine for $240. With a Manufacture Discount Coupon you can get at suboxone.com it brings it down to $186. This is for 30 Films a month.

Hello all, I received a prescription to generic suboxone 93/5721 but I took my normal dosage 4 mg twice a day and it seemed very different like it was not suboxone. I felt very ill and sweat way more than I should have. what I am trying to say is that I think they are not suboxone. After taking a a half of one and going through the bad side effects I inspected the medication and it looks like the 93 does not match up with the 5721 and by that I mean on one side the 93 is from left to right if read, and on the other side the 5721 is off to an angle and completely vertical compared to the 93 side when I flip it over. If it is not suboxone I will have to take the steps necessary to let my doctor and the pharmacy know, so here I am. If you could help me figure this out I would greatly appre...

Hi, I know this sounds stupid but please bare with me. My hubby takes suboxone (prescribed) and this morning he gave me a big Ole slobber filled kiss. I could taste that nasty orange taste.. strongly. He literally must have just taken his dose. I have a drug test for a job in a few hours and I'm worried to death that because I could taste it and now the fact that I feel funky (I take hydroxide prescribed 6 xs a day for the last ten years due to back surgery working for hospice) that maybe I actually absorbed some in a big slobber ridden make out session. Because I do not feel right, pukey, dizzy etc.. How the hell do I get this out of me? He has cut himself down to a 1/4 strip every day.. but judging by the way I feel I swear he shared it like bubble gum. So I guess.. what are the o...

I regularly take 10-12 mg of Suboxone daily. This month I ran out 3 days early, so I took 80 mg of opiates. Each day I took my last does of opiates at noon, it's now 7 pm. Is it safe to take Suboxone again? I don't want to go in withdrawals but I have always been told Suboxone remains in your system for 3-5 days. If so, is there enough Suboxone in my system so I won't go into withdrawals? ## Hello, David! How are you? It's difficult to gauge, because how long it stays can vary from person to person. It would really be best to wait until you're in full withdrawal, before starting it, again, unless your doctor directs otherwise. 80mgs of opiates is a high amount, so there could be a pretty high risk of precipitated withdrawals, if you take it too soon. The FDA classifi...

My husband was on suboxone 60 mg the for 3 years. Recently he stopped suboxone cause he is in pain with his hip and needs a replacement. He started taking 120-180mg of morphine for about 3-4 days and then stopped the morphine, waited about 9-10 hours, and went back to suboxone. Now he has been running a fever for two days, very lethargic, and nauesea. Is he going through withdrawal? ## Hello spotty sorry for the pain your husband's in. I too am prescribed suboxone and have hip trouble. Actually have recently had both replaced and I'm on the sub for my weakness for the opiates.. it actually gives me better relief than the oxycodone did. As for the fever I'm not sure - some people have different withdrawal symptoms. I suggest checking with your dr because if there's arthri...

Someone I know took one sliver of a suboxone, but had never taken it before. It was to help them get through a day without pain meds. How long till they can take a 30mg dose of regular medication for pain relief? ## Hello, Nickels! How are you? About 72 hours, due to the Naloxone in the Suboxone, it takes that long for it to stop blocking other opiates. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Where can I get only 2, @ 8.2 mg of sub's until I see my doctor tomorrow Tue evening!! I forgot (3) in hotel & left forgetting them started to panic. I was put in the hospital for 7 days come to find out I was allergic to sulfa now im on subuoxon and I cant hardy breathe ## Hello, Juju! How are you doing? Has there been any change? Suboxone is an opiate, so it can cause respiratory depression as a side effect. What dosage are you on? The U.S. FDA classifies it as opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, there is a chance you may be allergic to it, as well. Typically, when one is allergic to one medication, they find others that they are also allergic to.

Hi everyone! I was wondering if suboxone is as hard 2 get off as methadone? I was on 110 of methadone 4 almost 5 years, after many years of Oxy abuse. Got down 2 (24) and the withdrawals were so bad, and, the cravings came back. Dr put me on suboxone, which works great. I've been on 3 (8 mg) a day 4 almost 8 years now. I'm scared 2 death 2 get off. I suffer with a lot of pain, too. The suboxone helps some. What with it. I'm also afraid of the bad withdrawals, and returning back 2 pain pills. Any advise will b helpful. ## Hi Cats, You definately can get off subs it just takes time. Why not cut down just a couple of mgs and see how it goes. Instead of 8 three times a day you could try 8 than 6 than 8. If you feel allright after a week or so try dropping another 2. Theres no se...

Would a doctor rather write scripts gor pain killers or suboxone? I've been on opiates for 10 yrs as has my husband. He was recently put on suboxone and seems to be doing so much better and I'd like to change as well and have had people tell me that a dr would rather prescribe something like suboxone instead of the strong pain killers that I'm currently on...Tia ## Hello, Melissa! How are you? Some doctors do prefer it, due to the fact that the Naloxone in it helps prevent a patient from being able to abuse other opiates. That's why it's also the preferred medication for addiction treatment, now. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. However, it is entirely up to yo...

I've been dealing with addiction to pain medication for a few years now. Only a few months ago did I finally admit to myself I had a problem. I haven't had insurance for the past 2 years, so I have been using suboxone and it has done wonders for me already. So, my question, I started a new job today, and I knew I would have to do a drug test. I made sure to not take any pills starting about 6 days ago, so I wasn't worried about failing. However, I assumed suboxone wasn't tested for, so I hadn't thought much about it being in my system. I took the test this morning, it was an EZ split, integrated key cup test. Results in 5 minutes. I worked all day, but when I got home, I looked up the brand of the cup. I realized that the 12 panel version of these cups test for subox...

I have been taking 1mg xantax a day for over a year how long will it take to be out of my system I weigh in app. 160lbs have not taken any for 6 days ## HI, Susie! How are you feeling? Have you had any withdrawal symptoms? This is a medication you really shouldn't stop cold turkey, because doing so causes the risk of seizures, so please be careful. As to how long it will take to process out of your system, so any side effects stop and your body gets used to no longer having the medication added, that will take about 4 to 6 weeks. ## I have been on Clonazapam for 20+ yrs. Hey I have a question and some info. I am getting ready to come off of 300 mgs of morphine. Started with vics, soon moved to 80mg of oxys, then to 100mg morphine tabs 3 times a day. I got into a suboxone clinic very expensive. I only pay 120.00 dollars for my morphine and now I have to go and pay 935.00 dollars for the first month without medication? I AM SCARED AND VERY NERVOUS TO START THIS...Any advice? And does anyone get there meds online? Figured if you can get narcotics why not the stuff to cure it? I have looked but I think it might be 2 new. Yes I will have a script for it in 8 days....HELP? ## Suboxone will not be easy to find from an online pharmacy, it is very closely regulated and legally can only be used under the supervision of a doctor who is specially trained in its use...

Hello everyone.. first time writing in a forum like this.. so basically I've taken opiates for 6 or 7 months. Yesterday's at 10 pm I was at my first 24 hours with nothing. I started my subs. I took two 8mg strips.. an hour later took two more, then three hours later took two more, then three hours later took one and again three hours later took one. Last one. That was ten hours ago. I'm worried about when that will all wear off and when should I take another strip? Any helpful advice, please and thank you. ## Hello, Ann! How are you? Have you taken any more? The FDA classifies this as being an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## When I firsf started suboxone I broke out in rashes/hives for the first couple weeks which subsided I fhought I was going to have to see if the dr could swap me to something else but it did eventually subside for me...
