Onsite Employment Drug Test *suboxone*

I've been dealing with addiction to pain medication for a few years now. Only a few months ago did I finally admit to myself I had a problem. I haven't had insurance for the past 2 years, so I have been using suboxone and it has done wonders for me already.

So, my question, I started a new job today, and I knew I would have to do a drug test. I made sure to not take any pills starting about 6 days ago, so I wasn't worried about failing. However, I assumed suboxone wasn't tested for, so I hadn't thought much about it being in my system.

I took the test this morning, it was an EZ split, integrated key cup test. Results in 5 minutes. I worked all day, but when I got home, I looked up the brand of the cup. I realized that the 12 panel version of these cups test for suboxone.

Now, assuming that the test is instant, I'm banking on the likelihood that the cup I peed in was something less than a 12 panel. Otherwise, I probably would have been swiftly sent home today and told not to come back.

Nonetheless, paranoia has set it in, and keep thinking about the possibility that it was a 12 panel test, and that I will be fired tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Has anyone here done one of these instant tests their first day on the job, and then been fired the second day on the job? Or do you think I would have been sent home today if I had failed?

Correction, it's not an assumption that the test was instant. I know for certain the cup I peed in yields results in 5 minutes or less.
