Can zopiclone and suboxone be taken together. I have been on zopiclone for years and just about to start suboxone for ptsd and chronic pain ## Hello, Julie! How are you? While they can be taken together, in theory, and should only cause more dizziness, drowsiness, and nausea, than taking them alone, according to the NIH, Suboxone can be very tricky, so it would be best to double check with your doctor to be sure. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have been on zoplicone for 7 years and started Suboxone 20 days ago. I noticed I only have to take half the dose I use to and it works just as good if not better for helping me sleep as the full dose did. ## The white oblong 10mg and 20mg tablets are generally counterfeit. Nothing in them.

I'm needing to find a Suboxone Dr in Arkansas that will accept Medicaid. Or at least has some type of payment plan help. Also, can you use Arkansas Medicaid at a Suboxone Dr in Mississippi? ## Medicaid will not pay for opioid addiction or dependence treatment in Arkansas unless the provider is an RSPMI provider. There is one in Heber Springs but you must have a referral from your Medicaid PCP. Jonesboro Clinic (870-932-6883) sees patients who have Medicaid and charges reasonable fees. ## I need a Suboxone doctor in Little Rock that accept qualchoice insurance ## I desperately need a doctor to treat me for panic disorder (Ativan) and opiate addiction (Suboxone). I can never find a dr. for both. I live in West Memphis, Arkansas and I have Arkansas blue cross. ## I had a Suboxone Dr wh...

I started Suboxone four days ago. I am taking a whole 8 mg Suboxone twice a day. I also take 45 mg of Adderall a day for ADD and I need the Adderall because I am a college student. Is it harmful to take them together? The Suboxone has done excellent for me, and has kept the Oxycontin out of my mind. I got addicted to tabs when I was playing college baseball in order to play through two broken fingers and bum shoulder. So instead of doing a gut check time dealing with the pain through an ice bucket or taking some time off to heal up, because I was just a freshman and I was battling it out for starting spot with a all-conference senior. I became immune to the tabs, so a player introduced me to Oxycontin. I was taking 80 mg a day. This continued into the fall season of my sophomore year un...

Im getting suboxone from one dr. And xanax from my pcp. Well sub dr. Doesn't allow it. Ive suffered with anxiety and panic attacks for 30yrs. ## Most doctors that treat with Suboxone are not going to allow it, since Xanax is very commonly abused and can be habit forming. And a doctor that treats with Suboxone can't prescribed Xanax, under the new regulations that were put in place last year. You'd actually need to see another specialist, most likely a Psychiatrist. These medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, irritability and headache. What else have you tried to treat your anxiety and panic attacks? There are non-habit forming options, such as SSRI antidepressants. ## I am looking for a new pcp can...

My friend was on 8mg of Suboxone for 8 years. Her doctor cut her back to 2.5mg on the last week and then cut her off due to Methadone use as well. My friend had taken pills during the duration of the Suboxone and also takes Methadone. What can I do to help her with withdrawal like symptoms, or what should I look for? ## In this situation it sounds as though one of the best things you could do for your friend is assist her in seeking some sort of substance abuse treatment. As far as symptom monitoring I would note anything indicative of w/d such as diarrhea, vomiting, insomnia, back pain, headache, irritability, restlessness, anxiety, sweating and the like. In her case I would also watch out for possible overdose should she get her hands on some drugs; pin-point pupils, shallow or no bre...

Does anyone knows if taking Phentermine (diet pill) and Suboxone is harmful in anyway? ## I'm not finding any contraindications listed that states they cannot be used together. However, this site is not medical professionals, so you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be on the safe side. Is your doctor aware that you are taking both? ## No problem taking the two together. I have been on Suboxone for two years, and my doctor just started me on Phentermine. Also, I checked with the pharmacist before filling. If you have heart trouble or very high blood pressure, you should be monitored however. ## I know this question is old, but for anyone who may be looking for the answer. Yes you can take suboxone & phentermine together. Ive gained 45lbs on the suboxone & I have...

How are you? I'm very glad that Suboxone is working so well for you, it has been a literal life saver for many. I took 4mg suboxone at 9am this morning and have never taking them before. Can I take a Percocet tonight and still get pain relief? ## People often get confused very easily about this. As an addict who used opiates for about 10 years and now on suboxone for 2 years, and having gone to over 15 rehabs and countless suboxone doctors I have a bit of knowledge on this issue. If you take a suboxone and immediately after try to do opiates, YOU WILL NOT GO INTO WITHDRAWAL. you will just not feel the effects of the opiates because of the blocker. Now if you do it the opposite way, if you do opiates and immediately take your suboxone (you have to wait at the very least 12-24 hours to take it), then you will go into immediate withdrawal and believe me, it is TORTURE! Ask any doctor or anybody who ...

I wet to my doc 7 days early because of running out early. I took my new script to pharmacy and said, this is early so I won't be using insurance. My doc said you can call him if necessary. Well no one wanted to. They filled two per day for three days. On the third day I asked to fill the rest on insurance for the next day. I was one day early. When I called the next morning to have my daily two filled the pharmacy manager said no we won't be filling it for another 5 days. Go to the ER for your withdrawals but don't come here because I won't give it to you. Has this happened to anyone else???? ## If you run out of suboxone too soon- you might need to increase your dose? That way you won't have to worry about being out of it too soon. As for me- my doctor decided to m...

I kiss my wife many times daily. Suddenly my dr said i had suboxone in my urine. How? By kissing? ## I showed positive for suboxone from kissing my wife. How is this possible? ## Hello, Roger! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. And I think that kissing someone that's taking it regular may cause someone to show positive for various medications. I was actually just reading about it a few days ago. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Roger, I think it might be possible, but I also think unlikely...

I have been taking one 8mg suboxone a day for a month. How long do I need to wait to take a lortab? ## Hello! How are you? It usually takes about 72 hours for other opiates to become effective for you, again, The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I took a small piece of subutex 10 hours ago. Can I take my hydrocodone? ## Rose, It's always best to consult the PHYSCIAN that prescribed your subutex. Can someone please tell me what the difference between suboxone and subutex is? And , why one doctor would prescribe one over the other? ## Hello, Cats68! How are you? Subutex contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, but Suboxone couples it with Naloxone to prevent the abuse of other narcotics, while someone is being treated with it. Thus, that also explains why some doctors prefer one over the other. This is a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Dear Verwon, I now understand the difference b tween them. But why would one doctor use one over the other? Can people still feel the effects of opiates on subtext, b cause it doesn...

I was prescribed and took Suboxone Films for 3 years, and tolerated them very well. Unfortunately, my insurance stopped paying for the films, and I had to start taking the generic Suboxone tablets (Buprenorphine/Naloxone 8/2mg sublingual tablets). I filled my first prescription at Rite Aid, where they gave me the hard, orange tablets made by "Amneal", with the imprint "AN 415". I went into withdrawal the second day after beginning those pills. That was the worst month of my life, as that medication did absolutely nothing beneficial. This month, I took my prescription to CVS, where I was given peach colored tablets with the imprint of "54 375", manufactured by "Roxane". While this brand is slightly better than the Amneal brand, I am still having adverse ef...

I've only taken 1 mg of Soboxone a day since I was prescribed it three years ago. Now I want to quit. I started tapering and am at .25 twice a day. I plan on going down to .125 mg in a couple days.Has anyone had a similar experience and should I expect for withdrawals to be easy since I've never taken more then 1 mg? ## I tried (UNSUCCESSFULLY) for almost a year to get off suboxone!! I managed to get down to mere grains (probably 1/16th of a tablet) a day for three months.. Three days after I quit completely I felt horrible. Not physically but it's like my mind was so down I could even get off my sofa to feed my fish that were six steps away! I hate this dependence and wish I had never used it as long as I have (4yrs). Unless I am able to have no obligations like a career I ...

I am almost 14 weeks pregnant. I want to stop taking my Suboxone completely, but have heard it can cause premature labor if stopped too far into pregnancy. My doctor also said that withdrawals can not cause miscarriage or hurt the unborn baby in any lasting ways. I have been taking 2mg of subutex (now Suboxone) for the past week. Am I okay to cease all Suboxone use, or should I wait another week or so? ## From what I am reading, using it while pregnant is not advised, because it can cause withdrawal symptoms in the baby. As to any other details, there really aren't any. It's used during pregnancy has never actually be studied. As to whether or not you should stop taking it, I am afraid I have to defer to your doctor on this one, since they do know your medical history. Following ...

My daughter is on suboxone and takes klonopin and neurontin. Is there a toxic interaction between these when taken together? ## Hello, Linnie! How is your daughter? I didn't find any listed, so it should be fine, as long as they've all been prescribed for her and her doctor is monitoring her regularly. Both the Klonopin and Suboxone can increase sedation, but that is the only issue listed, according to the FDA. They also carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause other side effects, such as dry mouth, dizziness and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## You are wrong. Klonopin and Suboxone mixed together can cause death and seizures. Neurontin is ok with Suboxone. Dr's prescribe Suboxone for addictions. To get people off of opioids. Dr's in WV....

I take Benadryl for allergies daily. I'm also taking Suboxone. Recently I gave a urine and my councilor told me it came up neg for the Suboxone. I take 12 mg daily and have never missed a day in the last three years. Could the Benadryl cause this result in my urine ? Has this ever happened to anyone else. I'm frustrated because I'm being suspected of diverting my med and I have done nothing wrong. ## This is a follow up to an earlier post. I was informed that I had a neg result for suboxone in a UA. My counselor told me it was neg and I couldn't do anything about it. I was persistent that I take my meds EVERY day. My counselor has the lab reevaluate my urine. The result came back for Suboxone. The lab admitted they made a mistake. I urge anybody who finds themselves in a...

I need help. I live in Knoxville Tennessee. ## Hello. I've talked to a couple doctors and I remember 2 or 3 of them but I did not put any information down, I forgot. I just need to know which suboxone doctors are cheapest on a monthly basis? Can you please let me know their names and the prices per month? Thank you. {edited for privacy} ## I am very sorry, but there is no available database of doctors current fee schedule that can be posted for you, I'm also not away of any free ones for the original poster. Joey, can you contact them, again, to ask? Suboxone is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. ## I'm trying to get help as well.

Can you feel the effects of marijuana while on suboxone? I heard you could. ## Yes you can. You can feel the effects of pretty much anything else that is not an opiate. Just FYI ## Yes u can.... I'm on subutex for chronic pain for life but also have my cannabis card. Sadly, using cannabis sublingual or eating edibles, will NOT work. I've eaten up to 300 mgs and nothing.
