Suboxone Doctor That Accepts Mdwise Hip Insurance In Indiana

I am looking for a suboxone doctor anywhere around indiana at this point. I just got my hip insurance with mdwise about 2 months ago and really need to get help.. I have called a lot of doctors where I live and now I guess I will start looking around indianapolis.. Idk What I'm going to do.. If anyone could help me I would be so greatly appreciate it..

I have been taking pain pills since I was 17 and now I'm 34 years old.. The last 4 year's I been taking a lot because I can't feel them and I say about 15-20 or more some days.. I know it's time for me to get help so I called and made a appointment for suboxones and paid cash for this month and got a prescription but I really need to find a doctor who takes mdwise... If anybody can help I would really appreciate. It.. If not I might have to switch to mhs or anthem

Ok thank you.. I hope they take mdwise insurance because if they don't I will have to change my insurance to anthem because it seems like every other phone call I made they all said they take anthem insurance...

I really need help finding a doctor that takes mdwise plus insurance.. I'm trying to get clean and stay clean.. I have call a lot of doctors but I'm not having any luck.. Have you found a Dr? I just wanted to say, API urgent care does accept mdwise hip, but not the IU one. You just walk in. You have to have two clean drug panels and one therapy for the script. Its cool, just walk in And pass your first one, come in the next morning, pads that one and do your therapy, and leave with the script. The Dr was very kind. It's in Crawfordsville, In.

I don't want to come off as snarky or rude... but all these people here on medicaid... if you can't afford private insurance or doctor visits how are you able to buy opioids on the black market?

I mean if you can afford to pay for your opiate addiction then surely you could afford to pay for a couple office visits and legitimate prescriptions? Can anyone explain this? It's an honest question!

Dear Mason, Please do not be so quick to judge. You are talking a thousand plus (if paying out of pocket) a month for doctor visits and prescriptions for Suboxone. I would rather our system help pay for those cost, to help a person not use illicit drugs, that that person become desperate. some only made one or two bad decisions, and became addicted. NOONE would choose to be an addict.

I went to vallevista health in greenwood for a week inpatient , they gave me subs the whole time there and let me leave with a 2 week script . They set you up with another doc office. You have to make appointment with vallevista, and the wait sucks.bout 5 hrs when I went there. Hang in there and you will be good.

Who said that they are buying it on the 'black market'??? Because last time I checked you can still get a script of meds from your family doctor! Don't be so quick to judge people because they are on medicaid because not everyone has to go buy things on the street or on the black market. There are people with real health problems where they do need pain meds and after so long of taking those pain meds your body does get immune to them and you cant just stop taking them after years of needing them and getting them from their DOCTOR!!! And good for them for realizing that they need help and trying to fix the problem instead of turning to something else or continuing the problem!

Alot of people cant afford their habbit either steal or other things their not proud of alot of people r getting help so they can get their life on track and its a lot easier if u can get help and not have to pay for it so u cn take that money twords a house and ur children ur rude comments are not needed stay off this sight if this is how u are going to treat people

From experience us addicts have no limits when it comes to getting our drugs of choice... often times stealing or hustling from the people closest to us... and we can nickel and dime it. A little bit here and a little bit there... it’s difficult to legitimately come up with $200 off the top, plus $100-$200 a month plus script money in the same way. When you’ve got to stop using it’s already sapped motivation, you feel like s*** physically, on top of that the mental game is a long one... the system is set up in a way that encourages selling. We can say what we want in principle, of course the RIGHT thing to do would be tough it out and make the hard choices, chip away and pay your own way. But when you’re going through it, the path of least resistance is the most travelled... get your appointment, say what you’ve got to say to get the doctor to work with you.

I am looking for a dr that will accept my insurance AIR (Alternative Indurance Resources), my EOB’s indicate Cigna pay. I am located in Eastern Kentucky with equal access to Williamson WV. Either area will be good for me. Most drs here only accept state or federal funded healthcare which I am not eligible for. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Wow.. not come off snarky or rude. But how dare you even have the audacity to ask that question? Do you even known how addiction works, it has nothing to do with how much money you have or what kind of insurance you have? You can still be an addict and not have a lot of money, hense how addiction literally takes everything from you. Why do you think everyone on this site is trying to get on suboxone? Because they can't stand anymore how they are living and potentially for some might not be able to afford it FYI, or they just flat out can't take it anymore how bad the devil has its deep grasp of its nails dug into their body anymore and just want to be happy and try to live like a normal human being. It's people like you who are either just ignornant, or EXTREMELY uneducated on how addiction works, but hopefully you are not just talking s*** and being disrespectful. I truly hope you see this and you can understand and try to see where im coming from and this had upset me so much.. as why im sure it did with a lot of others for various reasons. Yeah, it's pretty simple. People do things that they aren't proud of in order to get the drugs they need. So obviously the point of getting help is to gain stability, and sound illegal activities to pay for a Doctor visit isn't one of them... And also sometimes people have spent all of their money on drugs, and they have no money left, and have lost everything. Sorry...I don't mean to be rude... But this seems like something that most people with a low-to-moderate level of common sense could easily figure out... You think all drug addicts are holding down a 9-5 job, in order to support their habit? No.... People do desperate things, when they feel like they are trapped in a spot that they feel they can't get out of.... How do they afford opiates? Use your imagination genius.

The issue is simply this: Many of these people just want to get a “high” from opioid medications. Regular Doctors in today’s political climate (Btw, please don’t blame one party of the other. This problem has been going on for a long time.) will NOT prescribe any opioid medications without a strong medical foundation. I had to go through many steps before my Doctor would prescribe any pain medication. First there was the Neurological Association Doctors that sent me to get X-rays and MRI’s. I was seen by two different Neurologists that came up with the same diagnosis. Then started the “step” therapy with the medications. Finally, I ended up with a pain pill that worked. If there are any Doctors out there that will prescribe a pill without plenty of medical support I am not aware of them. I have been told by two people that I respect that taking Suboxone is just substituting one addiction for another. I wish I had the answer because I would love to get off all pain pills but right now titrations is the only thing that works at least partially for me. I work down from 4 per day to 3 pills per day to 2 pills per day but I seem to get stuck there. I have tried 1 1/2 pills per day but that becomes uncomfortable.

Mason, are you an addict? You asked an honest question (as you put it) so allow me to give you an honest answer! When someone is in active addiction, there are certain behaviors that one will exhibit that allows them to afford their drug of choice. Most times it involves sex and/or theft, therefore, when one makes the attempts to become clean, those behaviors are no longer warranted and has become unacceptable; as the addict now can see without the fog of illicit drugs that their behaviors were shameful and against a lot of their morals and beliefs! Please, if you aren't an addict then don't post questions that some may view as judgmental and unnecessary, and please get off this forum watching and waiting on an opportunity to show us your ignorance or lack of knowledge regarding the disease of addiction! Also, be careful when sitting high and looking low because the Higher Power that I serve will certainly allow for circumstances to change in your life where you wont have any other choice but to humble yourself and have empathy for those that have a struggle unlike the struggles that you face! It may not be an addiction, but I'm sure there are areas in your life or those of loved ones in which the struggle is real, so please try to be empathetic and receive the blessings that are rightfully yours by praying for the brother or sister that you know are ensuring this struggle of addiction because you never know!
