Suboxone Advice Needed Asap! (Top voted first)
UpdatedHere's my story. I started years ago occasionally using roxi 30's on every few weekends a month. Not a habit or addiction (per say) but just for fun at parties and bars. Around 5 months ago I began abusing them daily. (to help get through some rough times) Approx 1-3 (never more than 3, and hardly ever 3) Snorting or eating them 1/2 pill (15 mg) a time. In the past month I have began taking them upon waking. Before this it was later in the day or at night. I am tired of the feeling i have been having the past month and was given two 8mg subs. Yesterday I was feeling extremely crappy, (i understand the withdrawal symptoms, achy(which i havent gotten) diarrhea, anxiety, and cravings etc....)
I took a sub yesterday morning at 11 am (approx 28 hours ago) The amount i took was EXTREMELY small bc I know how powerful they are. I'd estimate it was .75mg or even .50 mg. It basically made yesterday bearable. Did NOT get me high, I still felt mild mild withdrawal all day but it was enough to get me by. I did not want to take alot bc I do not want to take these at all or for long, id rather tough it out. I know that is not what suboxone is for but if I get out of this withdrawal I WILL STOP both roxi and sub.
My question is its been 28 hours since my first dose of suboxone (.75mg estimate dose) I did wake up feeling a little weak, mild anxiety, shakey, just like a bad flu-like symptoms. But I am fine to work, just telling people I have the flu.
Has the suboxone worn off since it was such a small dose and should I just tough it out (i can as long as its not for days and days and as long as it doesnt get worse), and if so how long should i expect this to last?
I have not been on them for very long. Before 5 months ago it was just a weekend habit, which i never suffered from withdrawal and its mainly gotten bad the past two months. but 5 months of steady use.
any feedback is appreciated. I just want to stop and move on from these and this feeling. never again!

There are certain ways that Suboxone must be used to enable someone to beat an addiction and that is why it requires the advice and supervision of a medical professional.
There are actually 2 active ingredients in it, it contains both Buprenorphine and Naloxone, the Naloxone is used to neutralize other opiates and prevent their abuse, while someone is under treatment. Therefore, in order for this medication to be most effective, it has to be taken after someone is already in full withdrawal.
If it is taken any earlier, it can actually throw a person into dangerous withdrawal symptoms.
Usually the dosage is very carefully calculated, according to the drug they were abusing and how much of it they were taking, then it is very gradually tapered, a process which can take months or years, to enable the person to become drug free.
Doctors that treat with it are specially trained in how to do this and therefore, I really can't help you much with your specific questions. The dosing amount and frequency will vary, depending on what is required to keep that person from experiencing the withdrawal symptoms.

Is there perhaps anyone else that has some suggestions or advice to add?
Take another tiny piece say a .5 mg piece - that should be enought to get you thru day 2 and probably day 3 . Day 4 it should start to get easier. Take some 5 hour energy or B50 and L-Tyrosine and Gaba 750 for energy and mood and you be out of this no problem. I've done it twice. Don't ever listen to doctors requarding Suboxone - they will have you on it for months or years and they r reaping the benefits while you suffer. Almost impossible to get off subox after 1 month - u have to go back to pills for 30 days. Use subox as a 3-4 day detox and you will be home free with minimal pain and suffering.
