I just recently got on Medicaid and need help. I live in Bloomington Indiana and can't seem to find a suboxen doctor that accepts Medicaid can anyone help

I got a letter in the mail and called the office and desk person I spoke with said it doesn't matter if you roadhouse 1 time they don't tolerate dirty drug panels...i even asked if the doctor could at least give me enough meds for a taper... She said no they wouldn't see me and didn't prescribe meds after a dirty drug panel.

Miranda I'm so sorry. We're only human so don't be too hard on yourself. Some very rude lady called me and told me I had oxy in my system and I better come up with something good before I came in. I just went yesterday and they didn't say a word about it. Who told you that u were cut off? Nurse doctor or just one of the desk girls?

Needa suboxone/subutex dr that will see me monthly or twice a mnth in Charlotte,Nc area.. i go to a suboxone dr now one time a week but she doesnt want me taking my mental meds... anyone know.. please HELP!!!!

well I unfortunately made a mistake and relapsed now avon refuses to treat me I am such an idot and am scared to death how do I always sabotage my life when somthing good happens to me??? do u know if any dr will see me now?

Hello, I called Dr Idahosa and she is full. Is their any other Dr that take Medicare Medicaid that aren't full? I'm about 40 miles from browns burg. Please help!

I really hope my recommendation for dr idahosa in indianapolis helped someone, pls let me know !! I would not recommend avon urgent care to anyone after the way they treated me ! Not only did they completely screw me over, they were totally rude the whole time and completely unsympathetic... I'm just trying to get help and straighten out my life and they could have cared less as I was crying and begging them to help me in some way, I'm sure you all know how miserable withdrawal is especially two days in which is what they want you to be when you come in. The worst of it is I had just spoke to them two days before my appt and they said everything was good to go and then I get there wait for 45 min and am told there is nothing they can do for me. A woman named Darcy was the rudest person I have ever dealt w in my life ! It sucks they make it so hard for people to get help and then wonder why the drug problem is so bad !!!!

Hi, I wanted to let everyone know about the dr I am going to see on tues... I am on anthem medicaid, I called dr idahosa in indianapolis in and she will accept you all you have to do is call medicaid and have her changed to your primary care dr, they will change it immediately and she will get you in a lot faster than avon urgent care ! I had a very bad experience w avon ! They completely screwed me, I called they checked my insurance, said I was good and got me an appt but when I got to my appt they said they couldn't see me because of something w insurance and at this point I was alrdy so sick and didn't know what to do and they didn't care at all !!!!!

hi tami... don't wait to call if you feel like you're really ready. i waited too long and my only regret is not going sooner. It's a lot easier than what i expected. Call and make the appt today because they'll call you back Monday to schedule your appt. only thing you have to do is find an addiction counselor and give their name at your first appt. don't let the process scare you away. It's really not bad. best decision I've made in my entire life. Good luck!!! email info won't show on this site so i can't email you. Sorry

Subs Saved My Life, have u found one yet? I was contacted by Dr. Momodu in Brownsburg. Very nice dr. Try that one. Kind of costly the first month, after that though, only $200

thank you so much to the people that have suggested avon urgent care. they take my insurance (hip) and although they do have a bit of a waiting list, my appt is 2 weeks after i first called. i havent been to my appt yet but it's next Thursday, October 2nd which is also my birthday. what a wonderful present to myself for my 30th. i can't wait to have this "devil" out of my life. anyone in Indy, please call avon urgent care... seems like a great place and the only one that I've found that's taking patients with insurance

Did you try to Google Kentucky Suboxone Doctors accepting medicaid (or whatever kind of insurance you have)? If those suggestions dont help you can try the 1-800-Suboxone line or call your insurance provider & ask them for a list of suboxone Drs in your area.

I was also a patient of Dr. Larry Ley and I truly admire your comment. I didn't know how to put into words when comparing pain meds to suboxone. I just know that the pain meds had me in a stupor for years. I hated what they were doing to me and wanted off even though I needed them. I found Dr. Ley and began the suboxone treatment and became a whole different person. Myself again. A bonus is that it also controls my pain without the side effects of vicodin and methadone. Thank you for your post.

I recently was a patient of Dr. Maisemore in Franklin, IN. If you are considering him I suggest you keep looking extremely ride no compassion for his pts. And has his back to you through out your entire appt. After you have waited in his clinic for more 6 hours just to see him. He's overloaded with patients and definitely not deserving of receiving any new ones for his unprofessional work as a doctor
