The reason is because its considered insurance fraud. The government feels if you can pay out of pocket then you don't need medicare or medicaid etc. Its pretty stupid especially when they know they have an epidemic of ppl abusing prescription meds and illicit substances.

Avon urgent care in Avon takes hip. Don't have the number on me but they were great. Don't go unless you're serious cause they will cut you off after one dirty test. Good luck

I have HIP and I am desperately trying to find a suboxone dr in Indiana that accepts my insurance. Can anyone please tell me where to go. I have called numerous Dr. on the list, but everyone either says they don't have any openings or they don't take my insurance. I finally find a dr. i believe in n that actually cares for his patients. He started me on subutex n it really helps keep me clean, and pain free. I've been. paying cash, then he finds out i have Medicare n tells me he can no longer see me. I don't understand i pay out of pocket for every thing why does it matter. Can anyone help me or give me info. I've worked so hard n don't wanna lose everything n everyone I've worked so hard for.

I found a doctor in Hamilton, Ohio her name is Edwina Zettler. And it is a drive and you pay a low monthly cost once established. And if you have Indiana medcaid they will do the prior Authorization to have your medicine paid for by medicaid. I hope this helps I was there desperate at one time....
