Suboxone, Adderall And Klonopin (Page 2) (Top voted first)

Updated

I am very pleased to say that I take all three of these great medications. The suboxone is the most important because it keeps me from craving other drugs which I used to abuse. I take 12mg a day. The Adderall XR 30mg is helpful with ADHD and staying alert. It keeps me going all day. And finally, last but definitely not least is the klonopin 1.5mg a day. Nothing else has touched my anxiety or made me feel so comfortable around people. Each med is important, and I would highly recommend this mix for anyone with anxiety, ADHD, and substance abuse disorder. Of course, they’re all controlled substances so you have to control yourself and be responsible, especially with a history of substance abuse. Other than that, just find a good doctor who cares and take them as prescribed. If you can’t do that or you’re still abusing other drugs, just work on it. It took me years to find out I needed these meds.

WILLIAM (# 16)

I was diagnosed with adhd/add at age 5...I’m 36 now... I don’t take nearly as much as I get, but it helps me more than anything in my life. Would I rather have my back hurt everyday and sit at home with no job? Or take my meds and living a great life. I go to the dr once a month and have never had a problem. I get where you are coming from but we only live once man. It’s better than abusing fentanyl or some other street drug that could kill u because you don’t know what the hell you are taking. Peace.

Re: Jrrkdk (# 18) Expand Referenced Message

In the beginning, the Xanax or Klonopin helps with the come down but now it just hurts the Adderall effect so I use it only when I feel my anxiety getting bad. I have found switching between Adderall xr and ir as often as I possible helps. Also, I try to always get Adderall xr brand name. I don't like generics if I can help it. There is a new ir manufacturer, it's not teva. It's a new company making those ir pills and they are pretty decent. Not like the old barr ones years ago but better than the tevas had been. Also, I get better results if I only take my Subutex once a day and try to keep my dose low like 16mg or under so my tolerance doesn't get out of control. I find my Adderall effect is better if I take lower doses of Subutex as well. I get prescribed 24mg of Subutex daily, 25mg 2 times daily of Adderall XR and 3mg a day of Klonopin daily. I usually try to take 12 or 8mg or Subutex and 1.5mg of Klonopin a day but usually end up taking the whole 50mg of my Adderall dose, unfortunately.

Re: Robert (# 5) Expand Referenced Message

I’ve been taking adderall and benzos off and on since about 2005. I take a half of a 0.25 xanax when I need it and 5-15 mg of adderall a day. I think at one point I took two 20 mg adderall but I suspect I had a weak generic, not that I have a tolerance.

Do you think if I walked into my doctors office and told him I wanted all three of those meds he would actually write them out????? Really!!!!! He would laugh me right out the door and tell me to have my head scanned for being so stupid to ask him for them!!! Lol. Just sayin!!! Lol.

I have suffered with HIGH anxiety my whole life so I have by weekly therapy sessions with my therapist because I don't want to be controlled by a controlled substance!! I have also had ADHD my whole life and went onto Adderall many years back and did not like the way I feeling on them so I asked my mental health provider for alternative ways to learn how to deal with ADHD without meds... I have those medical issues but they don't control me!! I am in control of them with determination and understanding and hard work!! I live a drug free life!! Before I would suggest anyone to get onto any kind of drug I would suggest them to seek out a therapist and a mental health doctor because I am proof that people can live with conditions without drugs!! I also have a 24 year old son who has been diagnosed with ADHD since he was 3 years of age and not once has he taken anything for it!! I raised him to learn about ADHD and how he can live with it!!

So many times people are so quick to start taking medication for so many diagnosis but what people should do is take time to educate themselves first!! This is why antibiotics aren't working on so many people because they were over prescribed!! And also the opioid epidemic we live in now so many doctors got a pad and pen and just started writing and now pain doctors are being forced to shut their doors because of OVER PRESCRIBING!!! Too many people are suffering with pain now!!!

I just hope this message helps someone who may be dealing with these issues!!! Just sayin!!!

I do the exact same thing. Take Xanax 2mg, Adderall 30mg, and 8mg Subutex. I work at a good company and don't take any other drugs.

Wow, what state do you live in? My daughter lives in virginia and its against the law for docs to prescribe her klonopin in combination w/ suboxone, which makes no sense since anxiety is a key factor in addiction.

Re: Verwon (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

You have no chance of getting all them in the UK but if I travel to Sri Lanka can get as many as I want over the counter. Benzos are very inexpensive there.

Re: Cart123 (# 7) Expand Referenced Message

I think from what I've read between Suboxone and methadone Suboxone is a way better route to go. I'm taking it for chronic pain management. I was building up a high tolerance to the oxycodone I've been on since 2008 and I asked my doctor if she could give me that for pain instead of asking for more oxy because I was already up to 50 to 60 mg a day. She said she would learn what she could and consult with other doctors who prescribe it. Even sat in on a meeting with them. Right now I'm in the process of finding the right dose for me. So far I'm on 8 mg today but the pain is not as well controlled in one aspect but on the other hand I'm not going through being in tears and in bed for 2 to 3 hours waiting to take my next oxycodone. I like the fact that the Suboxone is like A Time release drug. It is helping with the pain too. Just not as well as I hoped. I'll be meeting with her next week to find out if I can take three strips, that is three 4 mg strips per day whenever 8 hours.

I would also like to add that she lets me have point five mg of clonazepam a day. I wish for more but I doubt she'll ever prescribe more than that because of her fear that I would stop breathing. I've had full blown panic attacks for many years. They are better now but still have terrible anxiety disorder so I'm also I'm citalopram to help with that too. Pretty sure I could have attention deficit disorder but not adhd. I don't think I'd be a good candidate for the Adderall because of my anxiety. I'm glad you found something that works so great for you and that you found a compassionate doctor. I guess I'll just add like the rest, please do be careful. Sounds like you are and I wish you the best.
