My Dr is now wanting to take my other meds away. I had a gastric bypass two months ago, the only thing I could have was promethazine gel, and sublingual Lamictal. I couldn't even take the liquid pain medication it made me sick. I only started back on my regular meds on December 23rd, and it didn't consist of restoril. So what do I do. This really has me concerned.
Updated in RestorilI'm about 150% below poverty level and I can't afford this medicine Temazepam 30mg, please can you help me? You can reach me at {edited for privacy} ## Contact manufacturer they have programs for those who can't afford. I believe they are on $4 list at Walmart or Target if you can afford $4. ## @Sandra, Post #1 is right in that some manufacturers do offer what's called "patient assistance programs" for those who meet certain income requirements and other criteria relating to the application. You can either contact the manufacturer directly or ask your doctor/pharmacist for more specific details on what programs are available. Another option I might add is that this site also offers a prescription drug discount card that can reportedly save you anywhere from 15 to...

Updated in MelatoninIs it safe to take a halcion if it's been expired for 20 years? ## Hello, Michelle! How are you? No, any medication that is that old should be disposed of, medications lose efficacy over time, because they degrade and there is a chance that one that is this old could make you ill, if you take it. The FDA lists Halcion as containing Triazolam, which is a benzodiazepine. They are most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. They carry the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?
How are they different from my peach yellow tablet with logo on the ftont and 10 mg on back and the white ones marked 6469 ## Hello, Lady C! How are you? According to the prescription drug identification databases, these are both listed as containing 10mgs of Zolpidem, a generic for Ambien, they've just been manufactured by different companies. This is very common with generics, having several companies make it creates market competition to help keep prices down. The FDA lists this medication as being used for the short-term treatment of insomnia and typical side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness, funny taste in mouth, hallucinations, sleep actions and next day hangover-like effects. Is there anything else I can help with?

The FDA classifies this as a benzodiazepine, this one is most commonly used to treat anxiety and for the short-term treatment of insomnia. Belsomra is a new medication for adults that have trouble falling or staying asleep. Typical side effects are listed as possibly including memory loss, anxiety, temporary leg weakness and abnormal thoughts or behavior. Does anyone else know more?

What could be the result of combining Hydrocodone with Temazapam, Zolpidem,Propranolol, Simvastatin, and Venlafaxine? Combine this with 100 mg diphenhydramine, Alteril, & Estroven. ## Well, the first thing that jumps out at me is the Diphenydramine, why is she taking 100mgs of that? That's usually not recommended in doses over 50mgs. Learn more Diphenhydramine details here. And there can be some issues with taking all of these, but it really depends on the dosages and her tolerance to them. So, the next question is, are they all prescribed by the same doctor and filled by the same pharmacy? Or has she been using multiple doctors and pharmacies to get them? ## Wow...zolpidem with benadryl??? The hydro is fine and the others but not simultaneously. Zolpidem @5 mgs is stronger than ...
For the past few months I've been taking CBD a few hours before bed and its been helping my insomnia significantly. They work really nicely for helping me fall asleep and stay asleep. In addition to helping with my sleep, its helped me with my anxiety. One of the best things I noticed about CBD compared to traditional sleeping meds is that I wake up not feeling groggy or drowsy. If you want to get off those strong and addictive sleeping pills I recommended trying CBD oil.
UpdatedI currently take generic ambien 10mg, xanax 1mg 3 times a day, nuerontin 300mg 3 times a day, effexor xr 75mg 2 times a day, and duragesic patch 50mcg every 3 days...I couldnt sleep last night so at 7am this morning I took an extra ambien. I am also taking wkly drug/urines tests for my probation officer...will this extra ambien I took this morning show up in my urine? I test every wednesday and today is monday....if my medication levels go up I will go to jail. Please can someone answer this for me asap? ## No, Ambien contains the active ingredient Zolpidem, it is a type of sedative hypnotic and is not something that is tested for on standard drug tests. issues surfaced with a tooth that was absessed, required a root canal. This was nearly three years ago. Severe pain occured 24 hours ago, saw dentist, may need tooth extracted. Was given 7.5/325 hydrocodone acetaminoph. I have taken two tablets. Pain persists. May I take ibuprofen with diphenhydramine in combinations with hydrocodone? ## Hi monica, Sorry to hear about your tooth abscess! Though, if something as strong as hydrocodone isn't helping with your pain, I'd have to wonder if the doctor made the right call on giving you pain meds instead of antibiotics for an infected tooth, since that's not necessarily something hydrocodone or any pain medication is supposed to help with. In my opinion, antibiotics would probably help with the pain more so than anything else, becaus...
I've suffered from MOTN for many years and have used Sonata. I also tried 3mg Lunesta and took it before bed. I know that Lunesta is for use when you have 7-8 available for sleep. I wonder, however, whether I could split a pill down to about 0.5mg and take it when I have 4 hours available for sleep. Thanks ## Hi Jimmy, From what I've researched, Lunesta is supposed to reach its peak concentration about 1 hour after it kicks in and is reported to have an estimated elimination half life of 6 hours. This means that it'll take 6 hours from the time that you took it until half of the dose is no longer working in your body. So my guess is that if you only had 4 hours available you'd still feel it for a couple hours afterwards before "coming down" so to speak. But takin...
How long does it take for Zolnoxs to start working ## Zolnox contains the active ingredient Zolpidem, which is used for the short term treatment of insomnia and it usually works very fast, which is why the instructions usually tell someone to not take it, until they are actually laying down to sleep. Learn more Zolnox details here. When I was taking it, it usually worked in less than 10 minutes. Are there any other questions or comments? ## what to do if zolnoxs 10mg was taken accidently by an asmatic?
Is Ambien the modern day Qualewd(?). If I take my Ambien but something comes-up and don't lay down I get a feeling that I heard was called the Ambien Sleepwalk. But if I take it and go to sleep, I don't sleep long & when I wake-up I have a headache! ## Hello, Seaman! How are you? Yes, I guess you could say it's kind of like that. It's been known to cause everything from sleep eating to driving, all of which can be very dangerous. It can also cause next day hangover like effects, as well as an odd taste. If you're experiencing such issues, you should speak to your doctor about trying something else, since such problems from Ambien tend to continue to get worse. Is there anything else I can help with?
I need to know if their is a brand out there that puts out a 1mg YELLOW melatonin pill? ## Hello, Plshlp! How are you? Unfortunately, since this is an over the counter product, there is no database of all of the tablets that are available, their descriptions and dosages. It's highly possible that there is a yellow one, but if you aren't sure what it is, then it would be best not to take it. Where was it found/obtained? Maybe that will help to narrow it down, since some over the counter products are regional.
I have a light orange to peach pill on one side says 8|0 on the other side has like an A they said they were zolpidem are they ## Hello, Reese! How are you? This tablet actually contains 15mgs of Mirtazapine, which is an NASS class antidepressant. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes. This pill does not work, Got it a C V S, been using as prescribed for three days with no sleep, I was taking another generic from k-mart that pills worked fine it was oval and purple. changed for the price difference of about $9. ## You may want to go ahead and contact your doctor about any other viable treatment options for insomnia, if the Zolp. I'd however encourage you to try some natural alternatives, such as valerian root, lavender essential oil, cannabis (indica), meditation, etc. Of those options, I find meditation to be the most effective for long term relief. This is because you can eventually gain total control over your thought patterns and how your brain operates on a daily basis. It's basically like reprogramming your brain to do as you think or say instead of lett...
I have been taking zopiclone for insomia for two years and now it is not doing anything for me. I have started to stay awake all night and fall asleep around 7 am and sleep all day. I have just heard that it is possible to have a rebound effect if you take if for a long period of time. So now I have to get off it and I do not know what to take to change my sleeping pattern. Any suggestions. ## A rebound effect occurs from stopping a medication abruptly, what you are most likely dealing with is tolerance. This can happen if just due to the fact that you're taking the same medication, in the same dosage for a long period of time and your body has gotten used to it. You should consult your doctor, as you may need to switch to a different dosage, or a different medication. Is there anyt...
