I have permanent nerve damage in my right leg. The government seem hell bent on outlawing it. Could one of the drug companies help with cost. I'm on social security and can't afford to pay for it. Mine is pretty much a two-part question I was locked into a mom-and-pop pharmacy for over 4 years when suddenly they told me they can't fill my Roxicodone anymore because they don't get paid enough from my insurance company which has been the same all along so I got lucky and filled it at a Walgreens which just closed I was told my records would be sent to another Walgreens and I have been going from Walgreens to Walgreens to Walgreens and they are out of stock everywhere I'm in severe pain and I just don't know what to do does anybody have any ideas and does anybody know if a pharmacy can just stop like that and I also know for a fact that a person I referred there with the same insurance as mine is still filling them at that Pharmacy ## Yes, the pharmacy can do that, n...

I live in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia. Diagnosed suffering from Degenerative Disc Disease, with Cervical Radiculopathy (one bulging disc) and Lumbar Radiculopathy (two bulging discs). I almost passed away in 2012..I saved someone's life and my head was smashed. I had to learn to walk and talk properly again and have continual pain. I get a script for roxicodone monthly from my doctor..pcp. I also see a dr that does a laser on my right eye and face...I had horrible double vision and was supposed to lose the eye. I barely see double out of it at all now but it seems to of plateaued and won't get better. just started getting them and not sure how they will make me feel. they"re blue and have 48/12 on one side an a v on tha other side. ## That's actually not a 5mg Oxycodone tablet, that's a 30mg Oxycodone tablet and it's actually listed as being an immediate release formulation, so it would be a generic for OxyIR. And if you were used to taking the 5mg, then this is quite a jump in dosage and you need to proceed with caution. You may experience more side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. If it is too high of a dosage, you may also start to show the signs of CNS depression, which could include extremed drowsiness and sedation, shallow breathing and lowered heart rate and blood pressure. Here is my problem. Been in pain management since March 2014 when I was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease in both feet and had right leg amputated. So my PCP found me a pain clinic and was prescribed 120 Roxicodone 30mg + 90 Oxymorphone ER 15mg. I was at pain clinic up till March 2015 when they shut down. My Dr @ pain clinic that shut down, found me another pain clinic. I've been going to this pain clinic since March 2015 till present (October 2015) my first visit the NP dropped me down to 90 Roxi 30mg and kept me @ 90 Oxymorphone ER 15mg, which I was fine with. Drug Information ## Why is it that in the past 2 months my pharmacy & others I have called all say they are out of roxicodone 15mgs. Does anyone know as it seems I get no answer from anyone ? Yes, a friend of mine showed me a Dark blue (like the Vs) M 30... I get them myself & took 1 & I never get sleepy but I feel like I can't hold my eyes open.. He says they are a brand from over seas... I can't find anything on them & I'm afraid he could harm himself if they aren't real... ## If they are M30 and dark blue like the Vs then they are fake. Real M30 are very light blue almost white. I wouldn't trust anything overseas. They are fake and they sell pill presses on eBay that say M30 among other things. Why does it seem that the availability of Mallinckrodt's Roxicodone is like the flip of a coin? It's like a guessing game if they decide to make it and get orders out. Are they even still making 30 mg Roxicodone? ## At any given pharmacy, the generic they carry really depends on the price set forth, when they need to restock their supply. Pharmacies generally use a vendor, then order in whatever generic the vendor lists as offering the cheapest price, at that time. It's a light blue round pill that is the same size as a 30 mg roxy & it says W | C with the numbers 276 underneath those letters. On the back there is just a line through the middle. I tried it but it did not taste like oxy at all, it had some sort of sweetness to the drip, it was an unfamiliar taste so I am really curious as to what this pill is, it's driving me crazy! My Dr retired and has been prescribing me 30mg roxicodone for the last three years at least and in desperate need to find a new one that will prescribe the same asap ## I know a doctor did you say you live in New Jersey? He has 2 offices one in NYC and one in Westchester. I had the same thing happen to me my dr retired after 10 years gave me the name of the doctor I went and have been on the same qty of 30mg for over a year now. ## If you need a dr I will help you. Hi, my name is Scott. I've been on roughly 180-240mgs of 30mg roxicodone for going on six yrs now. Several yrs back I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and as time went by things got a lot worse. Well about a yr ago I went in for a doc visit and my doc told me he was retiring. And due to the past, my drug panels have shown up positive for thc. So there wasn't another doctor around that would prescribe me pain meds again. what does a 10mg roxy look like? ## There is no Roxicodone, which would be the regular release formulation of Oxycodone, in a 10mg tablet. Roxicodone is only available in 5, 15 or 30mg tablets. I don't have a picture to post for you, due to copyright reasons, but I can give you some descriptions and markings. There is a 10mg Oxycontin tablet, that should have the marking of OP on one side and 10 on the other, the other tablets had OC on on side and 10 on the other and they are both white. As to Roxicodone markings, the 5mg is a round, white tablet and one side it has 54 over 582, the 30mg is round, blue and one one side has 54 over 199 and the 15mg is green, round and has 54 over 710 on one side. Can anyone tell me what the IC stands for? I am used to seeing ER for extended release but I have never seen the IC before and can't seem to find any info on the net telling me what it means. Any help? ## Ic means ingredient comparable. It means you are getting a generic that is comparable to a name brand!
