My pharmacy by mail sent me round orange tablets (7mm diameter, 2mm thickness) that were supposed to be 25mg of hydrochlorothiazide. They look like the last batch but the description on the label does not match the code stamped on the pills. The pills are plain on one side, with a scoring on the other for cutting in half. Above the score is capital I, and below the number 26. Did I get what I am supposed to?

Yes, the tablets with this marking do contain 25mgs of Hydrochlorothiazide, which is a diuretic that's used to remove excess fluid from the body to treat conditions such as hypertension, edema and congestive heart failure.

For anyone else that runs into a similar issue, the medication your pharmacy has in stock may change at any given time, depending on which company was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply.
And sometimes, their computer hasn't been updated with the information on the new tablets, this happens now and then, especially if their inventory is reading that there should be some of the others left to fill your prescription.
