After 6 Flagyl tablets of 500mg the Dentist said the medication was no longer necessary and two days later having consumed some wine (when you should stay away from it for 3 days) an acute back pain developed and continued each day by getting worse. It spread to my left thigh, speculating sciatica. Fortunately, my wife prescribed a homeopathic remedy of Arnica and Hypericum; Thereafter, the Homeopath prescribed Rhus Tox. With Rhus Tox 30C the leg pain disappeared within the day while the back pain continued to lessen each day alternating between Rhus Tox and Hypericum combined with Arnica and it took about two weeks for complete relief which was sought through homeopathy. The effects of Flagy is diabolical. Don't ever take it; it causes more problems than it cures.

I have a vaginal infection and my doctor prescribed: Fexime, doxycyline, dalacin and flagyl/flasyl. i m taking Flagyl 400 since march 2011 for treatment of Antebacterial infection , i had taken 4 courses of 7 days , for one month or so i m ok , but again the problem starts , how much courses of flagyl are required for complete relief ## What type of infection is it? It really shouldn't require that many courses of any antibiotic to clear up the problem. Have you and your doctor discussed the possibility of your using a different antibiotic? I think that this one just isn't working for you. Today, I was prescribed Metronidazole 500 MG; 2 pills a day. I didn't even think about eating before I took them and for about 4 hours now I've felt very nauseous and even threw up a few times. Is there anything I can eat, drink, or do to help the nausea? It's the worst feeling in the world. I've also been very drowsy and dizzy. Hi, I have an infection. I bought A-Por cream from the chemist and used it for 7 nights, but still no change, so i decided to go to the clinic where my urine was tested and i was given an injection, Boxytet and five Flagyl's that i had to take at once... Within one half hour of using vandazole I experienced hives, dizziness, shortness of breath and the next morning i was still short of breath and felt like I was going to faint. The shortness of breath slowly disappeared and I was fine for the rest of the day. When I went to sleep last night I woke up at 1:00 a.m. Short of breath again but the other effects were gone. I am comfortable with my own regimen. I have started dieting (I tend to avoid whole grains in my diet). I eat more eggs and then full 8 liters of water a day. I have yet to try jojoba oil but I guess there is no need as my cream (SR Lotion) already contains a blend of jojoba oil and lactic acid. For two months now I have used SR Lotion to manage the red patches and the dryness. So far it works very well in controlling the flare ups. I understand SR Lotion is an excellent treatment, but not a cure, and a lot of times I am wondering what else I can do to support my regimen. I try avoiding wine and everything that has alcohol content. I don't know why it tends to make me rosier. What else is bad when you have rosacea?

I went to the doctor 7 days ago and was perscribed flagyl, it has not seemed to work yet. For seven months my stomach had been making loud gurgling noises for no apparent reason. My doctor thought it could bacteria not where it should be. I was not told how long to take the medication but he wants to meet back in 3 weeks. He gave me enough pills to last 3 months.
