How much is too much? I've been realizing I'm taking higher and higher doses. I need help. How much is considered an overdose? ## I know what you mean, but the term overdose itself is explanatory. Anytime you take more of the prescribed dose is an overdose and you risk adverse reactions. It's a gamble each time. I know it's easier said than done, but if you need an adjustment, it's best to talk to your physician. I know that sounds very stuck up and not understanding but I do. I speak from experience that running out early is far worse than needing that adjustment to a higher dose. I wish they could adjust mine but because I'm on the max amount of opioids allowed they won't let me. They said pick your handicap - is it anxiety or is it pain? ## Robaxin is a mu...

Can anyone ID? ## It Is Robaxin, used to treat skeletal muscle conditions such as pain or injury aka Methocarbamol. Pretty strong and prescription only. ## this is a terrible muscle relaxer unless you have a very low tolerance to medications. 8 REPLIES UpdatedWhat is a white oblong pill marked with 4212 V? ## This tablet contains Methocarbamol 750 mg (NDC 0603-4486). Methocarbamol is a medication used for short-term musculoskeletal pain. It may be used together with rest, physical therapy, and pain medication. It is less preferred in low back pain. It has limited use for rheumatoid arthritis and cerebral palsy. Inactive Ingredients: - Silicon Dioxide - Magnesium Stearate - Povidone - Starch, Pregelatinized Corn - Water - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato - Stearic Acid ## I have a white oblong pill with a cursive V on one side and 4212 on the other side. 2 REPLIES UpdatedI had a bilateral mastectomy a month ago and have been taking methocarbamol for one month every 8 hours. In the last week I'm only taking it at bedtime. The only other meds I'm taking is 4 Advil at the same time. I a suffering from bad night sweats. Could it be caused by the methocarbamol? ## I am also experiencing night sweats while taking methocarbamol. I found that it was listed as one of the less common side effects. ## Hello Natalie, Yes according to the National Institute of Health it is a listed side effect of methocarbamol to have flushing (warmth, tingling feeling, hot flashes) as well as insomnia. With these two combined I can see how it is difficult for you to get adequate sleep. I hope this information helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

8 REPLIES UpdatedDoes Robaxin Make U Fail A Drug Test? I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW. ## Robaxin contains the active ingredient Methocarbamol, it is a muscle relaxant, so therefore it is not something that is tested for on standard drugs tests, I am also not finding any reports about it causing false positives for anything. ## Does gabapentin or methocarbamor doxepin or abilify come out positive on a drug test ## Muscle relaxers actually can stay in your system as long as THC, 30 days. It depends on what what Panel test it is. If its a 5-panel test it could test positive for Tricyclic, antidepressant (TCA), cycobenzapr or other similar substances. Their tests don't go by what the drug does but by the similar properties of what the molecules are that they're testing for. Hey 10 Panel test would be ...
6 REPLIES UpdatedCan I take cerebrex which I use for back pain, and adco-dol at the same time? I have a splitting headache and only adco-dol seems to help, but I need the cerebrex for lower back pain. Also, can pain medication be taken with robaxin? ## Have these medications been prescribed for you? Adco-Dol is listed as containing Codeine, Caffeine, Doxylamine, and Paracetamol. They can be taken together, but only if your doctor decides it is safe for you to do so. The NIH does warn that you may experience more side effects than usual, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and sedation. ## I am addicted to adco dol only drink 3 tablets a day as it helps for my headaches and have a stressful job. I also use vicks nasal spray everyday as I have acute sinus but cannot take sinus tablets because I am alle...
2 REPLIES UpdatedRobaxin 500mg compaired to Flexeril 10mg, are they considered the same strength or which one is stronger? ## Robaxin contains the active ingredient Methocarbamol and Flexeril contains Cyclobenzaprine. The Flexeril is generally much more mild, so 10mgs of it would not be equal to the 800mg dosage of Robaxin. Have you been switched from one to the other? ## soma vs. flexeril, WITCH IS STRONGER ## got it and thanks ## I was given Robaxin for my rotar cuff shoulder. I had problems with Robaxin. I was dizzness, my blood pressure was unbalance. ## Yes, I have been on flexeril 10 mg for 12 years not working so doctor put me on robaxin 750 mg. Seems to be working for me for now I can take 2 at a time but I feel 1 is working. ## I'm on 500MG methocarbamol and its useless, like basic vitamins...
8 REPLIES UpdatedI have severe shoulder blade pain. My pharmacist gave me robaxin to relax the musckes, i am taking 1mg adco alzam at night for insomnia. Is it ok to take the 2 meds together? ## You may experience more side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, and drowsiness. Thus, you should only take them, if your doctor has said it is safe for you to do so. Are you on any other medications? Has anything changed? ## Hi, i was on zanor for 4 months for anxiety, i suffered terrible headache. The doctor changed me to alzam two days ago, now i can sleep at night without being rudely awaken up by anxiety, but sometimes i feel nauseous, shaky and like my tymmy muscles are losing the tightness. It sometimes feels like I'm going to pass out. I feel miserable, is this ever going to go away one day ?
2 REPLIES UpdatedDoes the muscle relaxer Robaxin 500 mg show up in a drug test? If so what does it come up as? ## No, it doesn't come out in urine test it's just a muscle relaxer .. ## If you took a 750mg Robaxin and have to take a urine test in 2 days, will it show up?
2 REPLIES Updatedcan robaxin give a false positive for opiates on a drug test ## Robaxin contains the active ingredient Methocarbamol, which is a muscle relaxant and no, it hasn't been known to cause false positives for anything on drug tests. Where you taking anything else, even over the counter products? ## does it have the same effetcts on a soma? ## I MEAN AS A SOMA? IS IT THE SAME EFFECT? ## I wouldn't be too sure that it wouldn't cause some sort of false positive on a standard drug test. I am prescribed methocarbamol which is the generic version of the drug and it clearly says on my bottle to notify your doctor you are taking this drug prior to submitting to a drug test as it has been known to cause false positives. I'm unsure what exactly it comes up as and wanted to know before m...
8 REPLIES UpdatedIs methocarbamol (robaxin) a steroid or anti-depressant? I started using it two months ago in Apr 2013 and I am experiencing severe mood swings. The two things that cause me mood swings is IM, IV, or oral steroids or any type of anti-depressant. I'm becoming reclusive, angry and noncommunicative. This happens every time I'm exposed to either drug category. I know depressants can also cause these side effects, but I've had lots of those without side effects whereas I've never taken one of the aforementioned without them. Thx! ## No, Robaxin/Methocarbamol is just a muscle relaxant, but mood changes are warned about in the monograph as being a potential serious side effect. Thus, you should most likely stop taking it and contact your doctor as soon as possible. It seems it ...
2 REPLIES UpdatedI have a bugling disc for which I am taking fentanyl 25mcg and hydrocodone, but I am still in a great deal of pain that makes me cry. The pain is in my leg and thigh. I have had one series of 3 shots in my back with no relief. Would robaxin help? The pain is so bad. ## Robaxin contains the active ingredient Methocarbamol, it is a muscle relaxant, so it's really only going to help with pain that's due to muscle spasms, or strains. Has your doctor advised you to use it? ## Does robaxin 750mg have anti-inflammatory properties? Is it equivalent to prednisone 10mg?
2 REPLIES UpdatedWhat are the side effects going to be if I stop taking robaxin and pecocet all at one time? ## The FDA warns that you may experience fever, chills, rebound pain, rebound insomnia, and irritability. What are you stopping abruptly? A slow taper is usually the best thing to do. Are you on any other medications? How long have you been taking them?
1 REPLY UpdatedDoes robaxin have the same side effects as somas? ## Hello, Avelina! How are you? Yes, it is also a muscle relaxant, though a much milder one. The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Soma gives me an impaired feeling. Will Robaxin do the same? Do you get the same side effects between these drugs?
2 REPLIES UpdatedCan Robaxin be taken with Morphine (with 4 hours or more in between)? I have Pelvic Fractures, Hip Fractures. Scoliosis and Bulging discs (several). ## They can be taken together, as long as they have both been prescribed for you. However, they can both cause sedation, so as reported by the FDA, you may experience more dizziness and drowsiness than usual. Other side effects may possibly include nausea and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
1 REPLY Updatedcan I take ibupain and robaxin together for pain ## Hello, Stella! How are you? I didn't find any problems or interactions listed, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure. Have they both been prescribed for you? Have you tried a good cough syrup? The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irriitation, increased risk of bleeding and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
1 REPLY UpdatedI have several spine disorders my doctor has me on soma 350 it is the only 1 that helps me at all ## I am glad that you one found that works for you, so well. However, it would be more accurate to say that the Robaxin is the worst choice for you, because there are many other people that use it successfully. However, there is no medication on the market that works well for everyone that tries it, which is why there are usually several available in any given therapeutic category. Are there any comments or questions? ## very true Vernon I am positive for many people robaxin works good. ## i found this pill its round, pinl, says r750 on it what is it ## Are somas and Robaxin in the same category?
