No registration is required and your identity remains anonymous.I was on risperidone from 2002 to 2003 then quit because my dad doesn't believe I'm mental health. I have now started it again in 2011 to present. I am currently on 6 MG and have not had a period for over a year. Has anyone experienced this? I haven't been ovulating either. I want to have another baby and was wondering if I'll start ovulating again. I would quit taking it while pregnant but can't get pregnant while on it. Will it ever go away? Will I ever have another baby? Any advice and experience stories would be great. ## Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor? 2 REPLIES UpdatedWho is Mr bars ## Hi Russel, How's it going? I'm not sure who "Mr. Bars" is supposed to be or if that was an accidental typo? But looking at the pill imprint of "M R12", this fits the description of a 2mg Risperidone tablet, used for treating schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. If you want to look it up for verification, the manufacturer is reported to be Mylan, and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 00378-3512. I hope this helps! Please feel free to post back if you have any other details to add to your post.

1 REPLY UpdatedI was told this can be used for weight gain , is this in any way accurate? ## Hello, Isci! How are you? The tablet with M R5 marking contains 0.5mgs of Risperidone, which is a very potent antipsychotic, so it is not approved, nor safe to use it to gain weight. Learn more Risperidone details here. It can cause weight gain as a side effect, along with dizziness, drowsiness and severe sedation, but it will not be a permanent weight gain, as it only lasts for the first few weeks that someone is taking it, just like other side effects. Is there anything else I can help with?

1 REPLY UpdatedHi, one of my friends was prescribed Risnia drops for irritability in daily activities, high temper, aggressiveness, and social withdrawal. Will administering the dosage at irregular intervals impact his health? If yes, how would his health/mental condition be affected if a single dose in a day is missed? 2 REPLIES UpdatedRisperidone makes me sleep deep for a while but the big problem is the sweating that comes with that sleep. I have been on this for Years for sleep. Is there anything else out there that tune off the brain so I can sleep. Just sleepless so no other need for the medication. ## Has this been occurring the entire time you've been taking it, or has it just started recently? If it has just started recently, but you've been taking it for years, then it may not be related to the Risperidone. Are you on any other medications? Have you had any other unusual symptoms? And what else have you tried to treat your sleep issues? Have you ever tried the supplement Melatonin?

1 REPLY UpdatedI am on Sizodon for over 2 years now. Was previously on haloperidol for 15 years. Prior to the treatment I wasn't a very active person mentally. I went into psychosis while I was a teen. I am 38 now. With the help of the medication I am able to function well. But would like to know if the long-term side effects will affect me later in life. I want to wean from the medicine but I am scared whether I will be able to function well. Please advise. ## Think of how you feel now and how your doing before you change anything. It is far better to think logically, function daily than be off of medicine and be in a completely different mind state. ## Thanks for the reply Careon. I had undergone therapy for a long time, to get my mind clear of all that troubled me, and the doc was of the opinio...
