I was told this can be used for weight gain , is this in any way accurate?

The tablet with M R5 marking contains 0.5mgs of Risperidone, which is a very potent antipsychotic, so it is not approved, nor safe to use it to gain weight.

It can cause weight gain as a side effect, along with dizziness, drowsiness and severe sedation, but it will not be a permanent weight gain, as it only lasts for the first few weeks that someone is taking it, just like other side effects.
