Rhodes/purdue Buprenorphine Hcl 8mg Rp B8 Vs Roxanne 54 411 (Page 17) (Top voted first)

Updated

I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are in order of my preferred with not much experience except with brand name:

*roxanne (now westward pharma)- 54 411
*hi tech- 8 ^(arrow)
*mylan- M924
*teva (allergen/activas owned) crooked b 799
*actavis- moon 153
*sun pharma- 460 white round
[And the brand new released generic made by Purdue and distributed by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals the new Rhodes generic]
*RP b8- white round bevelled and pretending edges.

I currently have had a smooth switch to the Roxanne/westward and declined mylan, actavis, teva, hi tech, sun pharma as most research and reviews conclude the Roxanne/westward generics the 54 411 seem to be best reviewed. I was unable to find the Purdue/Rhodes pharma newly released generic RB b8 imprinted generic. All I know is Rhodes and Purdue are professionals in the process of making quality meds and not just quality meds but pain relief medication, as they even were the company to CREATE oxycontin. I was able to come across one image of them on the web and they look very similar to the Roxanne 54 411s in size color and mostly shape except for the rhodes/Purdue ones protrude or kind of pop out on each side beyond the bevelled edges. They look really well made and on one side they have RP and otherside b 8 which the b and 8 are fairly far apart. I have been doing great from switching from brand films to the Roxanne westward 54 411s so far. I'm hoping to get some feedback by next month on these newly released rhodes/Purdue generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg. They are the newest and just released October 2017 and look very shinny and quality made. I'm hoping someone here who has tried both the Roxanne/westward and the new Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8 tablets. I am going to try and have my pharmacy special order the new Rhodes generics made by Purdue again imprinted RP b 8 white round shinny tablets fairly similar to the Roxanne but look better quality imo but do not have much experience with generic just brand and am very well versed on pharma companies and their medicine and their quality each one has.

Has anyone tried these new rhodes/Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8? How would you compare them to the Roxanne 54 411 tablets... I hope for a response or it will be trail and error for me when ordering Rhodes next month if i stay on this route and will see how they compare to the Roxanne/westward but will not be til a month away. Please if you have any experience with these generics and especially the new rhodes/Purdue one let me know. Again I was able to locate only one image of them and they look great. They do not look small like hi tech more like a combined Roxanne and mylan with the shininess and how they pop out on each side..they look a little larger like the mylan and Roxanne not small like hi tech or teva or activas they are round tablet imprints RP b8 with b and 8 fairly far apart. Any feedback would be great and I would want to switch to rhodes/Purdue from roxanne (now westward being a factor) generics as they make quality are new just released and approved this year 2017 of October and no one how even mentioned them yet that I can find. With westward buying out Roxanne and them making changes a new generic made by Purdue may be just the one we have been waiting for and needing..again on the 54 411 ones now and looking for feedback on the new Purdue Rhodes ones and if the switch from Roxanne westward to rhodes/Purdue would be better maybe with better quality as they have always been a great and reputable company who makes outstanding drugs. Any feedback would be great.

Re: goozer (# 433) Expand Referenced Message

I have. I was on it for years. Then all the sudden, I was taken off of it when, I was put on my psychotropic medications. Now I’m taking Robaxin. Soma was a great muscle relaxer for me. You have to watch yourself with it, because people have accidentally o’ed on it. I never did. I’ve always taken less than what I’m prescribed, not unless it’s absolutely necessary, I need it. I’m going to see if my pain doctor will put me back on Zanaflex. I was on that muscle relaxer before I went to California last December. It seemed to work the best for me, out of all the ones I’ve been on. Flexural didn’t really work for me. Neither did Skelaxin. Those are the only ones I’ve been on, I can think of right now. If you are worried about taking Soma, just try it first, if your not happy with it, then ask your doctor to put you on something different. Usually doctors will put patients on Flexural. Why I don’t know. I never benefited from it at all. Some people do. Good luck and I hope you have a good out come with Soma, like I did.

I don’t have any problem with Topamax generic brand name Topiramate. I’m only on 75mgs. Are you sure your not thinking of Neurotin generic brand name Gabapentin? That’s a seizure medication as well and that’s the one I had trouble severely. They tried to give that one to me in California. I said, Nope, I ain’t messing around with that wicked medication again. It made me feel very depressed and I felt like I wasn’t totally conscious. It was a weird feeling. I’ve never felt that way on Topamax. But as I’ve said before, medication has different effects to everybody’s body.

I’m happy with Lamictal. This is the medication that’s kept me in remission, for so long. I was on Trileptal in the beginning, but I started to get to depressed on that one too. So I got taken off of it. I was used a guinea pig at this Clinic I use to go to. The psychiatrist I had, made me mad by treating me with all these different medications. None of them worked and I kept asking him to put back on the medications I was on, before I started seeing him, since they worked for so long. The reason why I had the problem in the begin with them is, I stopped taking them to save me and my husband money. It was a big mistake. Anyway this doctor had gotten me so mad about these different medications, I had to fire him. So I did. I don’t know if any other patients have ever fired a doctor, but I did to this doctor. I’m happy with the medications I’m on now and they vey minimal now. The less the better.

If your looking for a muscle relaxer that also will get ride of withdrawal symptoms baclofen is great. My wife was put on it a about 6 months ago for migraines but didn't take it alot so I looked into it when I had run low on my subs. I heard people comparing it to clonodin ( which worked well for me years ago). Anyways I was pretty sick and nothing was touching it so I took 10mg and I felt much better after a bit. All in all it's great in you ever run out or low on subs. I don't know exactly why it helps so much but it will take the edge off enough to where you can actually function and sleep at night. Just thought I would put it out there.

Goofer
I have been on the Roxane/Westward 54 411 Bup’s for 4 years from the same pharmacy. 5 days ago they refilled it with the new Rhodes ones. I have not had the same experience as you. I am not in withdrawal, but definitely feel worse and have a lack of energy. I haven’t asked my pharmacy why they switched yet, but I will. So are the westward ones still being made? If you know who carries them, that would be great. Everywhere I call seems to have the small hi tech ones. I saw you are from SLC and I’m on the border of SL and Utah county. Thanks for your help

I'm down to the last 10 days of this first month using the Rhodes Purdue brand and I didn't have any issues really. I am being underprescribed and my dose is not where it was and should be so every month usually I run low due to taking the dose I feel comfortable on until I screw myself over and I'm left with 8mg a day or less left. That's where I am now but with this new brand I'll really be able to tell how I react when the dose gets low. I really have to figure this out but anyway. I'm going to try to get the Rhodes brand again next fill unless this new pharmacy makes it a pain again.

I believe it's from sept.15th 2018....Stephen takes a sober look at the family behind Purdue pharma...Oxycontin..and now is making a profit off those who have become addicted...Rhodes buprenorphine..if you're in the mood for a laugh.

Re: Charlene (# 448) Expand Referenced Message

Hi goozer, when my mom passed away I grabbed what lit up my eyes the most at the time was her bag of medacine.i have two sisters that would have done the something. Even though I am not prescribed soma or much that is here u never know if one day I might need these.i really never paid much attention to what I grabbed because of my buprenorphine treatment I did ever want to be tempted to even take what I have.i don't know why I would have worried about I have never had any cravings to use since I first started treatment in 2005..idk why but I don't. My other 2 sisters that use methadone treatment the one has cravings till this day..

Back in the day I used alot of soma, now my son wants tom.he is 26 and goes to my old pain management dr. But now the doctor will give u baclofen when I asked about some he just stopped me right there and said I don't give those anymore.. but they are cool to look at..

goozer (# 450) --

I do have them. They are very good. It's hard to describe them. I really like the yellow, then the white. I'm not sure what else is out there as of now. I used to take them a lot back then. I used to get the green ones. It was crazy back then because those that sold them in Florida for some reason if they had the green one and a different one it was always $1-3 dollars more a pill just for the color. I never would buy them because I had no problem getting them. The dealers must be ??. I really don't understand why if it was a color they'd say oh I have green they are more per pill. Like it was a bigger strength or something. No way he could pull over me. They were 2mg. Just like the white or yellow. I guess I'd have to say the blue I like better than white and yellow. It's probably in my head Idk...I finally got the nerve up to ask again and I didn't ask for anything specific at the time. I was more worried about just getting them filled with no hassles. From the same shop that I get my Rhodes from.

Re: 2thless (# 457) Expand Referenced Message

I don’t know anyone on here, but I don’t think their purpose is to be on here, isn’t how to get Xanax recreationally. Most people on here have some type of health issue and they are seeking out where they can get their medication filled, because the places where they use to, go no longer carry it. I am on here because, I have a Syndrome that causes me severe pain daily. The pharmacy I go to no longer carries the brand of Buprenorphine I was started on in California. Then I came home to the MidWest and they only had it for a short time. Then they ran out. Then I got on this site to find out where I could get the brand I was getting in California. I’ve found recently that Mylan is probably no longer going to manufacture their Buprenorphine brand. That’s why we all are on this site, not to do what you are accusing us of doing.

Re: 2thless (# 457) Expand Referenced Message

What would you do if they don’t manufacture the ones you are taking anymore? There no other type of medication like these on the market in our pharmacies besides suboxone. It comes in all the same brands and having all the problems getting it too. As a matter of fact WestWard/Roxanne is one that my pharmacy doesn’t carry that much, because it’s hard for them to get it in. So I would assume it’s getting harder to get that brand too.

Re: goozer (# 461) Expand Referenced Message

I have been waiting awhile to see if or how much I can campare the xanax. It's been a good while since I have been prescribed them...I'm going to have to actually choose the yellow 2mg bar from Walgreens, now I can't believe I'm saying this actavis!...because I'm not a fan of actavis bup....when I used to get them prescribed years ago like they were damn candy..lol I just remembered liking the yellow the best, 2nd was the white. Now for some reason I felt those were a bit more sedating. The only other one I used to get looked sort of greenish and I felt they were less effective on me..but darn I remember this man sold them and he always asked top $$ for those ones..in my opinion he maybe did. They were less popular in my area, I remember only one pharmacy had them...but who knows, but I'm going to stick with the yellow at least for now...

I have been on the 54/411 for 8 yrs and I just got on the B 8. I will tell you that first of all the manufacturer has a good reputation for making quality generics, second, they dissolve quicker than the 54/411, and for me personally I feel more energetic and they last longer than the 54/411. I felt the difference within a few minutes If you are out there trying to abuse them, then stick to Suboxone. But for men like me who have been clean for 13 yrs these by far are better than all the other ones. God bless, stay clean.
