Purata is reported to contain the active ingredient Oxazepam which is typically used for the treatment of anxiety and insomnia and in the control of symptoms of alcohol withdrawal.

Hi..I've been drinking for the last 12 years (I'm 32 now). I don't drink everyday, but come the weekend my friends and I binge from thurs\Friday right through to SUnday evening.. We hook up ladies and really have a blast..Monday I'm obviously hungover but can still function.. 3 months ago we went for about 5 days straight of being absolutely trashed. The following day after stopping (finally), I was driving to work when I started sweating, shortness of breath, extreme anxiety, heart beating fast.. I ended up in an ambulance and in hospital for a seizure. I didn't know too much about alcohol withdrawal then.then after 2 weeks or so I started feeling better, but still anxious (whenever I was driving especially)..I started drinking again (same pattern)..next day same symptoms, but dealt with it at home. This past weekend, same story again. I tried to stay home and recover etc, but couldn't take the anxiety, breathing issues etc. I went to my doc, and she gave me oxygen as well and Purata(benzo)..I'm now back home, its been an hour and I'm still feeling a bit out of it. How long will this take for me to be back to normal.. I have never actual been myself since that first incident. I feel like my personality has changed. Do I stop completely or do I drink in moderation. I don't want to experience that again, but I still enjoy being out with the boys and having a blast... Is purata addictive. Any input would be appreciated.

Can Purata cause tinnitus? I am suffering from tinnitus and have started using Purata almost at the same time I started experiencing the symptoms.
