Prescription Drug Epitec And Bipolar 2

I'm Bipolar 2 and can't beat the depression. My pcyciatrist subscribed Epitec to me for a "mood lifter". What is the working of Epitec and what is the side effects. I feel manic since I started to use Epitec but in the afternoons I'm tired becauce I had so much energy in the morning

Have you contacted your doctor about this? You may need a dosage adjustment.

Epitec contains the active ingredient Lamotrigine, which is an anticonvulsant that is also used to treat Bipolar Disorder.

Side effects may include: nausea, headache, double vision and insomnia.
