Pharmacies That Carry Buprenorphine Made By Mylan Or Roxanne 54 411 (Page 4) (Top voted first)
UpdatedI've been taking Buprenorphine 8mg for 3 1/2 years now, all of a sudden every pharmacy in our area (that I know of) has switched the manufacturer they are order from, frustrating to me as I just seem to see a difference all though there shouldn't be. Does anyone know a pharmacy that still carries bup mg with the imprint 54 411?
Re: Callie (# 103)
It’s so ridiculous and should be regulated better since these generics are so different.
Which brand do you use? Westward right now is the best for me.. the little round I believe are Hi Tech, I tried that once it felt less potent and I didn’t like that the pill was so small (especially since I’m trying to cut down my dose it’s hard to cut). I do however prefer those over Actavis , for me that generic is the worse and gives me lots of side effects.
Good luck to you

I called Westward.. I’m thinking we should all keep calling them so they get the hint that we need this medication.
If you google them just go to their website and the number is there.
Good luck!
Those are good. The only ones that don't make me feel groggy, or anything at all

Yea I've been going there for a few years now and I know the girl that does the ordering of meds. Also I bring my infant son in with me and they love him lol.. so she will order them for me and the other couple people who get Subutex there because those people also want the west ward brand. She puts aside a few bottles with my name on them usually if I ask. She said they have enough in to fill mine next Wednesday but I've been told that before and then I go in and they say there isn't enough so tomorrow I have to go back and I'm going to ask again if she can put them aside for me. Otherwise I'll be nervous all week.
Re: Roxanne56 (# 138)
There actually isn't a Perdue brand. I looked into it and I think it was just a think in Europe or something. There is no info about it online or pictures. Also Purdue has no buprenorphine product on their website. Westward finally was able to be ordered at my CVS and they put 3 bottles aside for me so I was able to get it this month but I also take Klonopin and I guess there is a huge shortage right now all over but thank God I got the last bottle. They had to give me 2mg instead of 1mg tabs though and half the amount of pills. There really shouldn't be a big difference in generic meds like this. Also there should always be a name brand available for a little more money if you want. I just want high quality.
Re: Rach (# 133)
My CVS said that Mylan stopped making the bupes, my husband & i have been taking them for 8 years & im totally freaking out. This is a huge problem. People that have been living normal lives for years now are getting anxiety & having to take more of their perscription because the brand they are carrying now wears off fast. I cant believe they are messing with everyone like this. I am not happy about this. No one wants to give up their sobriety & in my case they are my anti depression pills as well. This is just awful, so from what i am reading are the Mylans & the Roxanes made by the same company? So basically, were all screwed?
Re: Ala181 (# 147)
I drove there. I could have sworn I saw the bottle mine usually come in (I get 56 so they give me one full bottle and a partial), but the tech said they don't have my brand, but maybe they were indeed different. I looked directly at the lady I know answered the phone when I called and said, with tears in my eyes "I dont understand why it was so hard to tell me that on the phone." She actually looked like she felt bad. I, like many others, came from a very dark place- homeless, unemployed, no car, hustling on the street for the next fix- to where I am now - clean for 3.5 years, same job for almost 3 years, my own car, luxury apartment, bank account with savings and 401k, and I am a first responder and serve my community as a volunteer paramedic. I just dont understand. This "drug" has saved and improved so many lives. The stigma needs to go so that people can be helped in a way that is beneficial to everyone. I will go to my regular pharmacy in the morning when they open and hope they have my brand. In the meantime, send prayers and good vibes my way. I'm really doubting myself right now and having some pretty crazy emotions (I've also spent my entire holiday weekend alone). It's been a hard week, a hard month, really a hard year since my separation from my ex-husband, and today I'm just feeling all of it at once.
Re: Jess (# 148)
Hang in there... what you’ve accomplished is not an easy thing. Stress in life always magnified everything, I’m feeling very much like you with life throwing me a curve ball every other day. But I know it will pass... One day at time I try to remember. And You’re not alone in your frustration with being on Subs. I wish the pharmacists and the FDA would see how much this drug has helped people and not play around with it. Every station as public announcements on fighting the opioid crisis yet they don’t have a clue about what we go through to just be “normal” .. the pharmacist makes me feel like I’m crazy when I beg them to call the manufacturer. Obviously they don’t understand that for many of us it’s a matter of functioning without being sick or depressed.
Please call the manufacturer and let me know how it goes. I’m afraid myself for my next refill, so ill be calling around again shortly as well. I drove 30 min to get the last refill since CVS couldn’t get it.
Good luck and update us!
Re: Ala181 (# 149)
Thank you, you are right, one day at a time. But oh man, the pharmacy makes me so mad sometimes, you would think after 5 years of going to the same one, when they get low on the subs that someone would order more, but i cant tell you how many times we’ve gone in there & they say, oh we have to order them, so sometime tomorrow or the next day yadda yadda, & im like, why is it that you do this to us every other month? It gets me so upset especially if were completely out, i raise hell. These people have absolutely no idea what we go thru & when they act like its no big deal & treat me like im just some joe schmo my anxiety goes thru the roof. Its so nice being able to have a normal life taking these but when the pharmacy does that to me it just messes with my head & i hate feeling like that, the subs are supposed to help you so you dont feel like that, you know? Thanks for letting me vent. Im gunna try calling the manufacture tomorrow, & ill see what happens & letcha know. :-) i still have around 2 more weeks until my dr appt tho, these new CVS ones suck lol
Re: Ashley (# 152)
Roxanne doesn't own them anymore, westward does and they still make them. Don't spread rumors. I just talked to westward and they are still producing them.
Re: Ala181 (# 140)
Congrats on getting off them. For me I know I will need them forever. I have a friend who tapered off Subs 4mg. She's now addicted to kratom. I guess that's better for her. Good luck with your recovery.
Starting June 1st Walmart doesn’t accept discount cards for any opioid period. If u use a discount card, u can’t go to Walmart anymore, unless u want to pay full price. What sucks is they were always the cheapest, and they are the only ones I know that carry westward. I can’t use hi tech or sun. How are the actavis ones if I have been on westward for 5 years 2 8mgs a day?
Re: LA (# 166)
Are you in Wilmington, Ohio or another state? I was going to a small pharmacy getting Rhodes after being a customer of CVS for a while and CVS gave me sun brand which is garbage and felt like I hadn't taken any meds so I switched for 2 months to this small pharmacy and went today to the pharmacy I was getting Rhodes from and today they say we can no longer order Rhodes, we have actavis!!!! I've heard way too many bad things about actavis to get them so went back to CVS and they had Mylan in this time so I took them but next month I'm calling around before hand! I did call Kroger and they had actavis also! Why are we having such a hard time getting a brand that works for us!! Its complete BS!
Cvs but u have to tell them to order them. Had the same issue and i dont think they r strong enof anymore!
Re: Steubenville (# 183)
I don’t know if you saw my first message a few weeks ago but I brought up maybe ppl who no longer can get Subutex for pain to look into Butrans. It’s the patch version & is prescribed specifically for around-the-clock pain. I wish there was a way I could help you. I got my latest script for Subutex this past Wednesday & it was noted that I had been given a supply from 2 different manufacturers- mainly the Rocanne’s & then a few of those Ephipharm (whatever they’re called, the small, arrows) bc they didn’t have enough in stock of the Roxanne’s. I’m pretty sure they didn’t have many bottles in stock anyway so I’m going to request that they reorder them before next month roles around. So is your dr no longer prescribing you Subutex? Gosh, I hate knowing anyone suffers & has to deal with this on top of pain issues.
Re: Goozer (# 185)
I could use your help. I am in Northern California in the Bay area and have had three different brands of buprenorphine from CVS my last three scripts. Almost a crap shoot anymore. Almost feel as long as they don't give me those Hi Tech or Actavis I am ok. I got the Sun 460 last time and they do burn and requesting no more Sun. May call around the this month. I use the coupon or I cannot afford the 120 I get every month. The 54 411 from West Ward the month prior were pretty good quality I felt. Now you say Himka bought them out. Wow. How can I get the Rhodes from Purdue out here? What about these web-based pharmacies? I am getting my new prescription the 29th and would like to be able to get a good quality Bupe. Hope you can help.
Re: Brittany (# 3)
The thing to do is call all pharmacies in your area and ask them specifically what brand they carry
Re: davidjw1 (# 207)
Rhodes Pharma RP/B8 Generic Buprenorphine tablet. Anyone in the SF Bay area ever get these?
Re: Dansweet420 (# 208)
Most of our pharmacies here in Fla, Will not give you that information over the phone!
I have been getting that brand from Walmart for the past 4 months. I’m in Florida.
