About 50 days ago I took an unprescribed 5mg percocet for back pain (this was a one time single dose). I thought nothing of it at the time, I don't drink or do drugs. Well now I had to submit to a hair follicle drug test, my question is will this one time use cause me to fail the test? I'm only on oxycodone but had a fever and took a couple of 7.5 percocets. My oxycodone is 10 mg ## Yes wondering if Percocet will show up just as a oxycodone. I had a urine test and that day took m522. I found a small round white pill in my sons room. There is a line down the middle of one side and no visible numbers or letters because it looks as if any identifiers have rubbed off. ## I'm sorry, but without knowing the markings, it is most likely going to be difficult to identify. Have you tried asking your son about it? Does anyone else have any ideas? I'll do some more searching and post back when I have some information for you. ## I believe it's oxicodone (Percocet) 15 or 30 mg... they've been going around towns!

It's supposed to be a 10mg percocet(oxicodone) but doesn't seem like it. ## This tablet is a generic for Percocet, it contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. i got this medication and was told that they were percocets i took some and they don't have the same effect on me i noticed that when i cracked a pill in half there was another pill in the middle. I get my pain meds through mail order. My prescription is for Percocet 10/325. In my order, one of the pills was a Vicodin and it has a red stain that swatches across the numbered side of the pill. Called my mail order pharmacy and they basically said that there was no way I could prove that they sent it to me that way. I took it in and showed my neurologist and he had no idea what the stain could be... He told me not to take it.....which I had already decided I wasn't going to anyway. Pretty screwed up though, to get not only the wrong medication, but one that has some strange red stain on the pill. I wish there were a way to attach a picture of it on here...... Ok. I am at my end and trying to find someone who knows a dr that will take a new patient. I have herniated discs in my neck that pinch a nerve and create horrible pain and burning in my hands. I have 2 small children and work in a career that requires me to use my hands and back 90% of the time. I've had to stop working because of this and I'm at my wits end with all of this. I'm currently seeing our family dr who has been prescribing me 10/325 percocets. She referred me to a pain dr and he wouldn't take me as a new patient. I am so frustrated. Hi, I am prescribed oxycodone HCL 10mg. This medicine helps a lot with my chronic pain but this time when I received my medicine it had this kind in my bottle; the ones with the np and 12 on it. When I take it, it has no affect on my pain. Can you tell me why? What do you recommend? ## I agree th np 12 oxycodone is not like the flat round ones. I have been taking percocet on and off for about 16 years now due to chronic kidney stones. I attempted to taper off 10mg oxycodone and ended yesterday with only .5 in the morning and have felt like s***. No sleep last night, chills, goosebumps, nausea, diarrhea. This is even with tapering down. Should I just keep going cold turkey or get more to do a better taper?? ## Those are all normal withdrawal effects, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience fever and rebound pain. Stopping it after being on it for so many years is bound to cause you to experience some withdrawal symptoms and it may take a week or 2, before they taper off and then go away entirely. However, adding it back to do another taper would just be causing you to start over and you'd still be likely to experience...

I've been taking norco 10-325 for approximately 1 1/2 years due to a herniated disc. I had a laminecty and partial discecty this morning. I was prescribed Percocet 10-325 and Valium 5mg and was instructed to continue all previous medications. I was unsure about taking the norco and the Percocet both but the Percocet is not relieving the pain. Can I take them both. ## The risk of taking both is due to the Acetaminophen that they both contain, according to NIH reports, Acetaminophen toxicity risks causing fatal health conditions. I have a bunch of little white pills that say P 10. It almost looks like the P is in bubble letters and a 10 under nothing on the other side. A rose-colored oblong pill that has 7.5/3.25mg. on one side and E700 on the other side is it the same as percocet 602 ## Well the generic Percocet with the 602 marking contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone. However, the E 700 contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 7.5mgs of Oxycodone. It is sold under the name Endocet and is stronger, since it has more of the Oxycodone. They both contain the same active ingredients, but the dosages aren't exactly the same. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What is the difference between Percocet and Endocet?

I took a percocet on Sunday afternoon and I took a urine drug test Thursday morning. Will the percocet still be in my system? ## If urine tested while prescribed percocet, but are taking m367, will I fail the test results? Is m367 a percocet pill?

I have been taking percocet 10-325 for the last few years for chronic pain. My pharmacy up and changed to another brand that does not help me at all. The ones I used to take were also generic but they helped so much more, they were the yellow ones. I tried talking to the pharmacist about this and he claimed there should be no difference. I have researched this and it does in fact make a difference. I'm hoping someone out there can please help me find a pharmacy near Ogden, UT that carries the yellow ones. Hey! I have many problems with my neck and upper back and had been on Percocet 10/325 for about a year After having 2 cervical and 1 thoracic surgery for herniated discs and bone spurs and also was told I have terrible osteoarthritis of the spine!
