Its a tiny peach pill. Round. One side says TEVA the other side los like 2003 or 2008. Any ideas ??? Its tiny...
My wife's TEVA 25 mg Hydrochlorothiazide, obtained today, 3/2/13, is marked 2003, not 2008. Is this a manufacturer defect? I've seen several posts asking about 2003 and the implication is we are reading the number wrong. It is clearly marked 2003.
I have the same question...I just had the same prescription filled and the pill is clearly marked 2003 which does nor match the pill description information sheet. Did you ever get an answer as to whether it is a manufacturer's defect?
It just looks that way it is marked 2083 the 8 looks like a 0 if u look closely at the markings I'm sure u will c the engravings of the first 0 and the one u believe is the second 0 u will see small indentations that identifies the second 0 as an 8
It is definitely 2003 and it is not working properly.. TEVA / 2003 pink pill does not work properly. I examined it under a magnifier. It does not say 2083. It says 2003. I have called not pharmacy for a HCTZ by a different manufacturer. What is wrong with this pill? The internet is full of complaints. Is there a place I can send one for analyzing?
i have the same deal going on. mine CLEARLY SAYS 2003!!!!..we are not seeing it wrong,if it is a misprint then it should be recalled because someone might mistake it for something else,take it,and that could turn out bad for someone
i looked at mine under a microscope and it says 2003. maybe a misprint,which could be dangerous in the wrong hands,therefore i do not trust it. i will contact a pharmacist hopefully i can get it cleared up
It is used as a diuretic. Most commonly for getting rid of water retention.
actually if u look closely enough it actually says 2089 on it n its a 50mg Hydrchlorothiazide they are for blood pressure usually but my dr prescribes me them for water retention, but they have several different uses.
Is hydrochlorothiazide given for chronic back pain?
I ran across the same thing at work last night. I called medical to identify the pill I had found and she said it's marked 2083 not 2003. I had two other employees look at the markings. They all agreed it was imprinted with 2003. Somebody goofed.
Small orange pill. Says Teva on one side and other either 2006 or 2086. Is there a possibility that these are perc 10s. Tbh im heated right now

No, this is not a pain med. It's mostly for treating high blood pressure and other things.
