Hi this is padma..i get married 4 months before..i have dought for this okacet tablets..can i used this tablet for cold,, fever,bodypains... any side effects whenn am gettign pregnent time..i was some fear about this tablets.. ## Well from what I know okacet contains cetrizine which is an anti histamine. Hence it is meant to be taken to temporarily drive away symptoms of allergies like a runny nose, itching and watering of the eyes. Don't think it helps any with fever and body pains. Take a paracetamol to deal with that. Side effect is mainly drowsiness but might cause a heavy head and headache. Won't affect ur fertility or chances of pregnancy. Not to worry. I'd like to know if there are any alternatives to Paracetamol tablets. I usually take them for headaches or body aches and was recently diagnosed with a fatty liver because of medicine (antifungal meds caused the fatty liver) and I would like to go easy on the liver. I took two tablets, one at a time, 4 hrs a part for pain killer. I had some acidic food on that day and also on following day (pickles). I got gastric symptom on the third day, It seems very strong for someones. Not for pain killer, paracetamol better of aspirin PH8 is much better. ## Between the Aspirin and the foods you ate, it is normal that you would experience some gastric symptoms, according to NIH reports. All of those are acidic and can be very harsh on your stomach. Has there been any change, yet? Are you on any other medications? Have you considered altering your diet to avoid these acidic foods?
