my 3 yrs old child not taking solid food like rice,dal/chicken .He is suffering from cold and cough.Vomit after take solid food.please pescribe do I give him Wikoryl DS?and the dose.

my 1 yrs old child is suffering from cold and cough. The nose is chock up and looking at him, he is not active as he was earlier. his cough is not decreasing. please prescribe do I give him Wikoryl DS?and the dose.

Wikoryl is used to treat the symptoms of a cold and allergies. It contains the following active ingredients:

Paracetamol (125mg), phenylephrine hcl (5 mg), chlorpheniramine maleate (1 mg per 5ml). My research leads me to believe that 1 teaspoon every 6-8 hours should suffice for a child three years of age. Be sure to not exceed 4 doses.
