I used 6 capsules in one day, and had 3 fits, similar to epileptic fits, and landed in ICU. Xrays, brain scan, cat scan came back all clear. They treating me for epileptic fits now. Was the capsules the cause ## Lentogesic contains the active ingredients Paracetamol and Dextropropoxyphene. What you experienced could be a reaction to having taken so many, in one day. That was a very high dosage to take in 24 hours. You should also be informed that in most countries, any medication containing a derivative of Propoxyphene has been removed from the market, because it can cause severe cardiac side effects. Please help me ID this pill. ## Also wanted to mention: this is a round white pill. With PARA. COD. 500/50 written on one side, and a line on the backside. any help is appreciated. ## Based on the abbreviations in the imprint code "PARA COD 500/50" I have reason to believe that the following applies: 1) The ingredients are most likely Paracetamol 500mg and Codeine 50mg. (hence the PARA COD abbreviation) This is a relatively common combination of ingredients used as a narcotic pain reliever. 2) This medication is most likely from outside the United States (since we use the term Acetaminophen here instead of Paracetamol even though they are the same thing). Also, the inscription did not match any of the standard ones in the FDA's database, and this does not appear to be one of...

dolo- neorobion can use as treament for carpal tunnel syndrome ## I want to know if dolo-neurobion can treat carpal tunnel syndrome and what are the advantages of taking this drugs. ## It is used to treat many conditions involving pain, however, its effectiveness can be debated, because it only contains the vitamins B1, B6, B12 and Paracetamol/Acetaminophen. So, if a condition is caused by a lack of these vital nutrients, it may help and the Acetaminophen can help with some minor pain, however, since a lack of them is not what causes Carpal Tunnel, I have my doubts that it will help, at all. Are there any questions or comments?

what is the classification of the drug aeknil? ## Hello, Although Aeknil is not a product of the US, I was able to locate some information on this pill. Its active ingredient is Paracetamol, also known as Acetaminophen in the US. The classification of Paracetamol, and the terminology used to refer to it, can cause confusion. It is often classified as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), but Paracetamol has few anti-inflammatory effects in many tissues. However, Aspirin, Paracetamol and other NSAIDs all act by the same mechanism (inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis) and all show varying levels of analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and antiplatelet actions. Please post back if you have any other questions or comments to add.

These are all used as anti-inflammatories to treat pain and swelling. I know in the U.S. nothing more than the Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is generally recommended from this class during pregnancy.
