Dont take with alcohol. Both can be hard on your liver ## Bella is correct. Paracetamol is Acetaminophen, which is the active ingredient in Tylenol and it can be very hard on the liver, so it is very dangerous to mix it with alcohol. In addition, alcohol can enhance any possible side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation and headache. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## hi i hope you still reply on here, im an alcaholic i drink everyday for the last 5 or 6 months i been diagnosed with parasites and have to take flagentyl 500 mg i cant stop drinking alcohol coz well i work as a bartender so today i took my first pill and im pretty...
Is the paracetamol content (325mg) in Seradic P too much to damage the liver? I have been prescribed with the drug to cure my tennis elbow. Although the entire course duration is only 5 days (twice a day), yet it makes me wonder whether it'll have any negative effects on my liver? Also, does it actually cure tennis elbow or are there better medication for the same? ## These medications can effect everyone differently, but in my opinion, since the duration is only 5 days, you should be fine at a dose of 325mg twice a day. This is the lowest dose of paracetamol out there I believe. To answer your other question, this is not a cure for tennis elbow, but it should relieve the symptoms while you take it. I also think the link below offers some excellent information on how to treat tennis...
blue and white capsule ## Lentogesic is listed as containing Paracetamol and Dextropropoxyphene, it is a mild narcotic pain reliever. However, you should be informed that in most countries, all relatives of Propoxyphene were removed from the market due to the risk they cause of severe cardiac dangers. Learn more: Are there any comments or questions?
what does lentogesic contain? Please list ingredients in exact number of milligrams, thank you ## Are you referring to the tablet or the syrup? Assuming that you are referring to the tablet, Lentogesic contains the active ingredients Paracetamol + Dextropropoxyphene + Glutamine + Pemoline. Lentogesic Syrup contains Acetaminophen + Codeine Phosphate + Promethazine Hydrochloride Other than this information, I was unable to find precise dosing details, and I'm thinking that is because the manufacturer of Lentogesic in South Africa stopped producing drugs that contain Dextropropoxyphene (drug information was likely taken down because of this): You may want to consider contacting the manufacturer directly in order to get a more precise answer on this drug's dosing information: NOTE: ...

For what purpose is this medicine taken? Is it safe to take or is it harmful? ## What is the primary use of Lanol ER? I'm currently taking Lanol ER along with Evion 400 every morning for my knee pain. ## As far as I know, Lanol is basically Paracetamol and is given for bringing down fever and mild pain. ## Lanol contains the active ingredient Paracetamol, it is available over the counter in most countries and is a mild pain reliever that can also treat a fever. Side effects may include nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach irritation. Single doses should not exceed 1,000mgs and no more than 4,000mgs in a day.

My mother is 81 yrs old, has been using Synap Forte for 25 years - average dosage 10-12 per day! She has become very paranoid-sees/hears voices/people the last few years. Is it the cause of pills?? She has tried every trick in the book to obtain Synap and is now extremely aggressive/angry that pills are going off the market! She has stockpiled pills for a few more months-will she get withdrawals and what must we do? My mother is not suffering from a terminal illness, but has pain associated with old age and early-teen rheumatic fever and osteoporosis. ## Have you considered getting help for her? I have undergone a small operation during April 2008 in day care to remove a small scar from down level of my left side chest since it was pricking me all the times disturbing my concentration. The operated wound got healed but the pricking pain still persist. Doctor says the superficial nerve would have got cut during operation which will grow in due course of time and the pain vanishes. So far the pain is not reduced. I have used pain killers like Paracetamol, Chymoral Forte, Ibuprofen etc. to reduce pain but there is no substantial result. Doctors ruled out repeated operation at the same spot. Pl. advise what i should do to reduce pain. ## Sorry to hear about your challenges. The pain killers which you listed sound like over the counter ingredients. Since a repeated surgery is not an ...

Does Anyone Know Whats Happened To Propain Caplets ## Propain ## Where are you located? Propain is listed as containing Paracetamol, Codeine, Diphenhydramine and Caffeine and used for pain relief. It is not something that was ever readily available in the U.S. where we are located. Have you tried asking your doctor or a pharmacist? ## My pharmacist tells me the Propain is no longer made. Don't know why. I found this forum looking for substitutes as it was a very effective painkiller for me and I can't take either asprin or ibuprofen. No luck yet. ## Thanks for the replies. My pharmacist says they haven't been withdrawn and can't understand what's going on. I have managed to get some off the net from a S.A. company but now a bit worried they are not actually propain a...
I have had six teeth removed from my upper mouth and am suffering pain. My dentist said to take Paracetamol and Ibruprofen alternately but not a lot of good. My Doctor says Enantyum 25. Is this a good idea? ## Hi Justian, it sounds like the medications which your doctor is recommending are not very strong for severe pain. Rather, they are intended to be mild to moderate pain relievers, so it does sound in lie with getting some teeth removed. Enantyum is reported to contain the active ingredient Dexketoprofen, which is also an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), in the same class of medications as Paracetamol and Ibuprofen. From what you are saying it sounds to me like your dentist is only recommending over the counter medications. As long as you follow the instructions on the ...
acetominophen andchlormexanone ## i'd like to know what is beserol and what it is used for ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information. ## Beserol is part muscle relaxant, part paracetamol. Used to treat body aches, sprains. Side effects for people allergic to the muscle relaxant part (me included) include painful, swollen mouths or faces. Hope that helps! ## does beserol contain ibuprofen or any related drug to it? if some...

I have been taking lentogesic caps for about 8 years now. 2 three times a day. Part of my rheumatoid arthritis treatment. With them been taken off the market what can i take and must I wean myself off them. ## Have you contacted your doctor to discuss an alternative? Lentogesic contained Dextropropoxyphene and Paracetamol, it is a mild narcotic analgesic and it was removed from the market due to the fact that Dextropoxyphene and its derivatives have been shown to be cardiotoxic. And, as with any medication, even if you aren't abusing it, your body does get used to having it and a sudden cessation may cause withdrawal symptoms and rebound pain. There are, however, other medications on the market that you can try, but only your doctor can help you decide which ones are safe for you. #...
