Is the paracetamol content (325mg) in Seradic P too much to damage the liver? I have been prescribed with the drug to cure my tennis elbow. Although the entire course duration is only 5 days (twice a day), yet it makes me wonder whether it'll have any negative effects on my liver? Also, does it actually cure tennis elbow or are there better medication for the same? ## These medications can effect everyone differently, but in my opinion, since the duration is only 5 days, you should be fine at a dose of 325mg twice a day. This is the lowest dose of paracetamol out there I believe. To answer your other question, this is not a cure for tennis elbow, but it should relieve the symptoms while you take it. I'm currently taking Lanol ER along with Evion 400 every morning for my knee pain. ## As far as I know, Lanol is basically Paracetamol and is given for bringing down fever and mild pain. ## Lanol contains the active ingredient Paracetamol, it is available over the counter in most countries and is a mild pain reliever that can also treat a fever. Side effects may include nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach irritation. Single doses should not exceed 1,000mgs and no more than 4,000mgs in a day.

Hi, i have been on stil pains for quite some time now and the dosage has increased. i used to take two now i have gone up to 4 at least 5times a day. could this be the reaon why ive lost so much weight? ## Have you consulted a doctor? This medication contains Paracetamol, Codeine, Meprobate and Caffeine and if you are taking 4 tablets, 5 times a day, that's 6,400mgs of the Paracetamol and that is a very dangerous, toxic amount to be taking. My mother is 81 yrs old, has been using Synap Forte for 25 years - average dosage 10-12 per day! She has become very paranoid-sees/hears voices/people the last few years. Is it the cause of pills?? I had Shingles, & this was prescribed for pain. All blisters have dried up, but the pain is worse than ever. I did get a repeat of the prescription, but it is not as effective any longer. I have undergone a small operation during April 2008 in day care to remove a small scar from down level of my left side chest since it was pricking me all the times disturbing my concentration. The operated wound got healed but the pricking pain still persist. Doctor says the superficial nerve would have got cut during operation which will grow in due course of time and the pain vanishes.So far the pain is not reduced. It is not something that was ever readily available in the U.S. where we are located. Have you tried asking your doctor or a pharmacist? ## My pharmacist tells me the Propain is no longer made. I have had six teeth removed from my upper mouth and am suffering pain. My dentist said to take Paracetamol and Ibruprofen alternately but not a lot of good. My Doctor says Enantyum 25. Rather, they are intended to be mild to moderate pain relievers, so it does sound in lie with getting some teeth removed. Enantyum is reported to contain the active ingredient Dexketoprofen, which is also an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), in the same class of medications as Paracetamol and Ibuprofen. I have been taking lentogesic caps for about 8 years now. 2 three times a day. Part of my rheumatoid arthritis treatment.
