Where are you located?

Propain is listed as containing Paracetamol, Codeine, Diphenhydramine and Caffeine and used for pain relief. It is not something that was ever readily available in the U.S. where we are located.

Have you tried asking your doctor or a pharmacist?

My pharmacist tells me the Propain is no longer made. Don't know why. I found this forum looking for substitutes as it was a very effective painkiller for me and I can't take either asprin or ibuprofen. No luck yet.

Thanks for the replies. My pharmacist says they haven't been withdrawn and can't understand what's going on. I have managed to get some off the net from a S.A. company but now a bit worried they are not actually propain although they do seem to work !! Was just a little "iffy" about the quantity they sold me - 100 !!!
