Pain-o-soma (Page 2)
UpdatedSo yesterday I FINALLY RECEIVED my prescription of Pain-O-Soma in the blister packs that are from (Supposedly) HAB Pharmaceuticals & they ARE / WERE AWFUL!!!! I took 3 & #1) they DID NOT FEEL LIKE ANY BRAND OF SOMA THAT'S MADE HERE IN THE GOOD OLD UNTIED STATES OF AMERICA & #2) I think that they may have even given me MORE // WORSE MUSCLE SPASMS!!!! I can't believe that I f***in wasted close to $200.00 on these things & then had to wait for over 3 weeks to receive them... They came from India... So now I've got over 120 of these damn things, they're in the blister packs & they're a plain white pill with no numbers or anything on them except for a strait line on one side of the pill... I read about these in these forums & because there were more positive than negative posts I decided to try them out... For ANYONE OUT THERE BE ADVISED DO NOT ORDER OR SPEND ANY MONEY ON THESE FAKE PILLS!!!
Re: Frank (# 21)
Frank, that's what this thread is for, those who have ordered Pain-O-Soma from India. Did you not read the other posts? You couldn't make a worse mistake ordering Pain-O-SOMA, worst SOMA on the planet
Re: EDDY (# 12)
Carisporidol is NOT a narcotic unless it is Soma with Codeine, I also do not understand why they think it is banned in USA because it is NOT; I get 120 every month
Re: Gigi (# 23)
I never said it was unless compounded with a narcotic?
I had same ones were fine and only paid $89 for 500 of them
Re: Gigi (# 23)
Not banned but is considered a narcotic in the USA now
Re: busey123 (# 2)
Where do u get your prescription filled?
Re: Two cents more (# 26)
No, they are not; UNLESS compounded with codeine! Carisporidol is NOT a Narcotic
SOMA was once the only muscle relaxant that helped me at all as evidenced by the fact that it was taken away from me along with the pain medication. I have tried every brand available over the past year and have concluded that something was done to change the way it works. I might as well take an aspirin for all the good it has done. Most recently, I took 1000 mg at once. Nothing. I know of no muscle relaxant that does what is promised. As such, I no longer bother.
Re: Michelle (# 29)
I know what you mean but it could be you, your condition(s) might be getting worse or the medicine simply doesn't work on you anymore. I remember my first Soma in 1983, nothing like the one I took last night?
Re: Raindog5571 (# 18)
Normally when you got shakes and can’t form a sentence that’s good soma
Re: minoguesque (# 5)
Does the pharmacy still exist? I would love to get the name.
Re: EDDY (# 30)
I will never know which one of us is right, as no doctor will prescribe it for me. I used to fill my script from another country where it is the Pain-O-Soma. I have tried a number of their brands and none does a thing. Given the cost I quit filling it. Most recently, I got my doctor to prescribe Cyclobenzaprine. I tried it years ago and did not like it, but at least I can bump the dose if having a bad pain day without risk. I certainly don't waste it by taking too low of a dose.
Re: EDDY (# 30)
Sorry for the late reply. I don't watch this site enough. I suppose you could be right, but I used to get Soma made in the USA. Now what I get originates from India. I have tried 2000 mg at one time and got zero muscle relaxation. Whether me or the drug, I stopped taking it. It is costly filling prescriptions from other countries. Add to that the risk of lost shipments and it is way too costly. At least the waste of paper meds I get here are cheap enough.
Re: Michelle (# 34)
Please Michelle, don't take 2000 mg of what is supposed to be Soma. Some Indian pharmaceuticals are perfect to take, but god forbid your Soma is laced with dangerous fillers.
Re: Eddy (# 35)
Thanks for your concern. I should have noted how many times I did that. I believe I did it twice. My point though is that dosage seemed to make no difference. I got zero effect from any dose. Because it is costly, I stopped ordering it more than a year ago. No doctor will prescribe the Soma that helped me for years.
Re: Michelle (# 34)
Filling prescriptions from other countries costly??? Michelle, I've been ordering Pain-O-Soma 500mg tablets out of India for over 7 years now. If you're saying you have a prescription, why the he'll would you want to order from another country n not have filled here in the US from well known pharmaceuticals?? Makes no sense.. You're also saying costly? Only thing costly about it is shipping. I pay .05 cents a tablet ($25 for 500 tablets) for my Pain-O-Soma 500mg. How's this costly?? Maybe a tad under-dosed, like an Indian 500mg tablet has as much Carisoprodol in it as a US brand 350mg tablet.
Yeah unfortunately when you try to buy meds illegally you might get ripped off. Years ago my brother got some fake xanax he did a dispute on his cc and they gave him his $ back.
Re: EDDY (# 22)
It depends on the person. What about prosoma?
Re: Frank (# 31)
Lol Frank... Your oh so on time about the shakes, confusion in what your wanting to say, heavy slurring of voicing words....
= Damn good Soma!!!!
