my husband had his leg amputated and i have mixed up some meds. i think a white oval tab with 105 is one of his hydrocodone meds but am unsure. there are no other markings and he takes so many tabs daily i used a weekly pill container and i am now totally confused. am a bit doutfull but would appreciate any info. ## The tablet with the 105 marking on it is actually a generic for Percocet, it contains 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a narcotic pain reliever. Is not oxycodone not just a narcotic but a opiate? This is a simple yes or no. ## Narcotics are opiates. And yes, this tablet does contain Oxycodone, 7.5mgs of it and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Percocet. If so, Dilaudid is Hydromorphone, a very potent narcotic pain reliever. It is very strong and not intended for use by people who have not previously used and have a tolerance to opiates. I have searched online and cannot for the life of me find out what this pill is. A friend said he was given them after having knee surgery. My best friend is in stage 4 liver cancer. The doctor has her on 125 ml of morphine. She has a patch containing morphine and pills with morphine. She doesn't say much about her pain. I was told this yellow pill with P and a 40 on opposite sides was an oxy tamper proof. Not sure tho cuz what I have found on the net is that genetics have an OP. I'm from Canada so I'm not sure. the capsule that is dark blue, a stripe of grey, then light blue has l829 imprinted on the dark part of the capsule. capsule contains a greyish unmarked oblong pill ## I can't find a listing for this, but I am sure that's because this ones with the marking of an L followed by 3 additional numbers are over the counter products, they are sold by many different stores, worldwide, as the store brands or generics of common over the counter items. From the description, this is probably something like Tylenol PM or Advil PM in a rapid release formulation. what is the diffrence between delotta and moraphine. This question is because my dad has been given moraphine for pain and the reaction was delerious. When given delotta he seems okay ## The difference is the actual narcotic ingredient, Morphine is just that, but Dilaudid contains a different narcotic, which is Hydromorphone, so they are related, but not the same. It's white round a little bigger than an aspirin. It's fatter than an aspirin. It has a raised butterfly on one side. The whole thing is covered in a very smooth, white candy coating. The inside of the pill is brownish. There are no other markings anywhere. ## sounds like ecstacy illigal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im currently under a new drs. care, he prescribed me opana 5mg er....my next appointment is in 2 days and there were a couple times i had to take an extra one ,because i was in terrible pain...should i just be honest with him? if i take one tomorrow , that will leave me one for my visit & i dont want him to think that ive been abusing them, which i havent, should i ask for a hefty increase, cause i was once on roxicodone 30mg....or should i also ask for something for breakthrough pain or request to be put on roxicodone, or would the opana 30 or 40 mg solve this issue, thanks ## Honesty is your smartest bet and the only way to let him know that the current dosage is not controlling your pain. If you were abusing them, you would have run out a lot sooner and wouldn't even have one...

My insurance co will not pay for oxycodone 15 mg imm rel tablets 2xda. What can I get in place of this? What other med would work the same way? They will pay for my break-thru med oxycodone 5md/APAP, but I have liver problems and don't want to take too much of it. I use only 1 tab a day presently. I have been taking morphine sulfate for the past 2 years, but I always feel so sleepy. I want to get off the morphine. I have an appy with my doctor on 3-4-11. Thanks. Shirl
