Going to pain management for my back. The Doctor wrote a prescription for 3 times daily or prn, so when can I ask for a refill? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? How many tablets was it written for? My patient has recently had two (2) toes removed and he has extreme bad pain in his right foot. If you could help him out and get the right pain medication what would you recommend? ## Ideally, only a qualified physician who's examined the patient in person and reviewed their medical history can make an appropriate judgement call on adequate treatment for something like this. However from a layman's (outside) perspective it would seem that starting off with something mid-level in strength would allow for substantial wiggle room in the dosage and/or type of narcotic analgesic being administered. In my personal opinion based solely off observation (not having had any of my toes removed and can't fathom the amount of pain that might ensue) a moderate dose of hydrocodone appears...

Man I had four different genetic brands. Now taking alvogen 10 325. Percocet 10. man no wonder there so many people killing themselves. everyones genetic med r different. S*** what happen to DuPont they too big to keep customers happy? I had enough. I'm going to ask my doctor to give me morphine. Or back on methadone. Even though they are hard to get off of. Can someone please inform me, what is this pill is compared to? percocet? vicodin? does it provide pain relief or is it worthless? it's green, it says Watson 395 50 0.5. i want to know what it does and if its an opiate? does it have hydrocodone in it or oxycodone and does it provide the same pain relief as other opiates? ## This tablet contains 50mgs of Pentazocine and 0.5mgs of Naloxone, it is comparable to Talwin-NX. I did not use Kratom to come off of Narcotics or any other addiction. I wanted to try Kratom because of all the great reviews I had read about it. I am a widow , & I moved to mid-America& I left a daughter behind. My youngest goes to MSU. I am an Author. I was on Vicodan 10/500 and they changed the laws and now only Norco is possible 10/325.For Chronic Nerve Pain. They had all my records. I Think they were ALL thrown away. Idk I'm kinda on the fence still..one site identifies this oblong, white pill imprinted with 44 175 as a lortab... 10mg hydrocodone bitartrate, mixed with however much acetaminophin? Yet I've also seen ppl claim the same imprint, shape and color... That same 44 175 ...and claim that its a simple 500mg acetaminophen... My husband has been taking Embeda for about a week now. Every time he sits up he gets too dizzy like he passes out for about a second and falls back on the bed. I am rx'ed ms-contin 30mg & percocet 10mg by my pain dr. My question is, since percocet and oxycontin have the same main ingredient in them except the apap that is in the percocet, will it show up the same on a u/a for the pain clinic? ## Yes, since they both contain Oxycodone, a test that checks for the specific opiate and its metabolites will show them both as being the same thing. The person is on all of these drugs the day before the test, Please no recovery advice, I am doing research for my paper. ## Okay, for specific information on testing, it depends what type of test they have ordered from the lab. A basic test would just show the presence of opiates, however, there are tests that can show the specific ones and how much of them are present in the body. I am currently taking percocet 10 mg that are prescribed by a dr for back pain. I have a drug screening this friday. I have run out of my pills and was wondering if I took a few percocet 7.5 mg, would they show up as something different. I have orange oval shaped tablets about the size of a vitamin that were in a clear packet with pink foil that u push them out of. All I could see was /325 on the back of the packet. I took to 15 mg 24 extended release morphine pills and slowly ot started making me feel sick and after about 8 hours it made me throw up. This morning I woke up and I still felt the effects of it but not as bad as yesterday. But the thing that worries me is I this morning I felt my neck and I had about two lumps on it and now I feel like I have a third coming up. My husband got my tramadol prescription via internet-a Canadian company. When shipment came, the pills did not look anything like what I have received before.
