I read many postings about how the DF118 Forte's40's are more of a sufficient high as compared to, say, DHC60's. oxycodone prices have doubled in less than 30 days in tenn. rumor has it that the manufacturers ,being top 8 have been sold an now there is only 1 producer of this product! ## It's not that there is only one manufacturer, now. That is only relevant to the name brand time released product, Oxycontin. The current problem stems from the fact that each year the DEA sets a manufacturing limit on how much of any controlled substance can be made and distributed. I have a blood pressure of 150/100 2 months ago and the doctor prescribed me Aspirin 80mg as my daily maintenance to be taken once a day but the pharmacy gave me Aspirin Aspilet instead. Unethical failure to adequately treat pain continues after years of consideration of same as unethical. What can we DO? These are real people doing real suffering. I know how to get what I need but only because of medical/pharmacological sophistication coupled with a wonderful primary care MD.. MD's tell patients DEA won't allow it... Patients adhere to old myths (like the woman who couldn't get oxycodone but was AFRAID to use the morphine prescribed because of a long-discarded mythology as well as the advent of very effective SR morphine formulations which make it less dangerous than aspirin. ## Unfortunately, I don't think there will be any way to stop these problems, until such a time as people stop abusing such medications. Has anyone heard of an unavailability of Brand Roxicodone. My pharmacy tell me that only the generic are available. They don't work as well, and frankly, I don't believe them. ## they only make generic 30mg they are made by several different manufactures so it depends on what pharmacy you go to but no matter what they are all generic and all are pretty much the same if you snort them they taste different thats about the only difference between all of them ## I was under the impression that Purdue manufactured Roxicodone Brand and that there are generics. The only pink, oblong tablet that I can find listed has the UCB on one side and the numbers 910 on the other, though the one can look like it's part of the score line. I have had two surgeries and on hydro.10mg|325 tabs. I have winged myself down to 1 every 12 hours. Ive noticed that after about 9 hours it seems like im catching a cold. I push myself to go the 12 hours. Once i take the med. im fine. I have probably been on them fo 3 months.. Really i may need a smaller dose but ill try taking maybe about 5 ibuprofen's for a little while. Is there a easier way to taper down,how can i taper down or do i just have to crawl under the sheets and die. I hate these pills,don't want something else controlling me. ## Sounds like you have been on them a while, The reason you feel like you have a cold is that your waiting to long to take one, if you want to tapper down start with the dose you were on, then your next dose wait an additional hour and so on...

Hi there. I took 25mg of Oxycodone tonight. This is the first time in almost 2 years that I've touched an opiate/opioid. I'm a female that weighs 165 lbs and am relatively active. I'm wondering if anyone may know how long the Oxycodone will be detectable in my system. where are they located legally, with insurance and a ligit. doctor who rescribed it for me. ## Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing what pharmacy may have a supply of any given medication in stock, at any given time. Many people are having a problem getting them filled, due to the fact that the manufacturing quota has been met for the year and manufacturers are unable to make and ship a new supply. Things should return to normal in January. In the meantime, you may want to speak to your doctor about using an alternative medication. Are there any other questions or comments?

i have been on oxycodones for over 2 years now the shortage is makin it difficult for me to get scripts filled hope you can help, ## I'm sorry, but this site does not manufacture, nor sell any products, nor do we have any way of knowing what pharmacy may have any given medication in stock, at any time. The shortage has been affecting many people, we have quite a few posts about it. Production should, however, return to normal in January. In the meantime that only thing I can suggest is speaking to your doctor about possibly using an alternative medication. Are there any other comments or questions?

I was recently placed on this medication for sevear lower back pain. I recently found out that I have a herinated disk in my back, and disk degenerative disease. My doctor placed me on Dilaudid 8mg, which took all of my pain away. I felt very disorientated, though. I am now on the 4mg tabs every 6 hours. I noticed my pain is dull, but still there. Why do I have to fell out of it to be temoraily pain free? I have been on Vicodin HP, Morphine 60mg, Percocet 5, 7, and 10 mg. I have bounced from med to med trying to find the best results in my case. I am lost for what to do. The med that seemed to help the most was the Vicodin Hp, but I was afraid of the addiction factor.
