I have recently been suffering a MAJOR sinus infection...let me start off my saying I have taken tylenol and advil for all of my adult life...the 'hardest drug' has been Tylenol 3 with codeine. I am posting here becuase yesterday I went to the hospital, because I was in sooooooo much pain...They checked me out and ended up giving me a shot of morphine....a 5 mg shot to be exact. Is that a lot of a little?? I am very tall and weigh about 250 pounds.....but i didnt feel a thing!!! When I hear people talk about morphine, it seems like they were living high on a cloud....and for me, I didn't feel stoned AT ALL......I drove home from the hospital...and then I took 2 percs which I had at home....and still didnt feel relief.....is this normal?? What are other people's tolerance...

Generic tylenol was red, whte and blue. Is this correct? ## Well, there are some Acetaminophen products that are generics or store brands of Tylenol that come in those colors, but the colors don't necessarily mean anything. There are other products that come in those colors, as well. Are there any markings on the pills in question?

I had Shingles, & this was prescribed for pain. All blisters have dried up, but the pain is worse than ever. I did get a repeat of the prescription, but it is not as effective any longer. I am also having difficulty in sleeping. Are these tablets keeping me awake? Why are they no longer effective? ## I suffer from a nerve pain around my mouth. Can you shoot up the round purple morphine with M on one side and MS 30 on the other? And of you can, what's the best way to do it? ## It is actually not safe to try to break down and inject any medication that has not been specially formulated to be used in such a manner. Tablets, especially time released products, contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body. They are normally just expelled as waste. However, when you inject them, you are placing these substances into your body in a manner, in which, it cannot properly process them out. This creates the risk of blockages, which could lead to stroke, embolism, or heart attack. Are there any questions or comments?

I am on 50 /MCL of Fentynal I get watson ngel patches .sadly do to my weight problem from being a wheelchair for a year I called watson asking where is the best secure place to put the paches they said NOT below the waist the sides of my body of chest which my chest is too hairy to even think of that. I am 57 yr old Male, I have congestive heart failure with injection ratio of 15%. It appears that when I take hydrocodone I have more energy and less breathing problems. Has this been found to be a benificial side affect. When I dont take it I dont have the desire or energy to do anything. ## Hydrocodone is used in some prescription cough syrups, because it has been know to help with cough and congestion. Another way it may be helping is through the fact that it causes depression of the central nervous system, so it may be helping your heart by slowing it down, so it doesn't work as hard. Is your doctor aware that you are taking it? Such use should be monitored on a regular basis. ON THE PILL IS WATSON 349, NOT357, WHAT THE DIFFERENCE ## Watson 349 is identified as Acetaminophen (500mg) + hydrocodone bitartrate (5mg). I was given opana 5mg by my doctor 3 months into it, I told them I had a concern with them, I felt they were mentally affecting me, they kept me on it.3 months later I had a break down, and ended up in a mental hospital, I have never had that happen to me and I believe it was something in that pill, they took me off of it and gave me something else, and I am back to my self now, I'm wondering if you have had this problem with other patients? ## It definitely sounds like you experienced some of the severe side effects from this medication. I have have been taking percocet for pain of 2 rods in my back and a 357 mag gunshot wound to my thigh which shattered my femur. I was taking 70mg of oxcodone a day for pain but now my new pain management doctor put me on 30mg of MS Contin 2x a day plus 5/325 percocet 3x a day if needed for break thru pain.My question is will this be as effective or not and why? My son takes 1/2 a tablet every 6 hours how much tylenol is he actually getting? ## If his tablets are 5/500's then a 1/2 tab is 250 of Tylenol and 2.5 of codeine. ## The active narcotic in this is Hydrocodone, so he'd be getting approximately 2.5mgs of it and approximately 250mgs of the Acetaminophen/Tylenol. And the reason I say approximately, is because when you cut, or break a pill, it is very hard to be precise, so the dosage could be a milligram, or two, one way or the other. How many hours will 15mg of hydrocodone taken 1 time stay in urine? ## Hydrocodone is a narcotic and list most others in this class, it is generally detectable for approximately 4 to 5 days, after taking it, in a standard urine test. There is now way, however, to give any definitive time frame, because it is always going to vary from person to person, depending on certain individuating factors, such as your overall health, activity levels, fluid intake and etc. Is there anything else I can help with?

how long does endocete stay in your system? ive been taking for 6 months if i missed a day and was tested would it still show up on test. ## endocet will stay in your system for about 3 days if you have been taking it for 6 months being off it for one day probably wont help you past a test my suggestion is to drink lots of water once you stop taking it untill the test to try and clear your system of the drug it could work in a 24 hour period ## There is really no sure fire and safe way to get your body to process a drug out any faster than it normally would. ## can they tell how many endocet pills u take a day when u take a pis test

please email me back!!!! thanks for ur help and time.it has a s on it its brown/or tan dark color shaped like a stop sign someone side it was a opana 5mg are they right the reason i ask i went to a funeral last night after taking it and when i woke up today i had the s***s like crazy so i was just woundering ## The closest that I can find to this description is a 30mg Opana ER that has the number 30 on the 8 sided pill and it's red. I'm not finding any with an S on them. However, there are some Sennoside laxatives that match this description, so that would be my first guess as to what you took. I can't be certain that's what it was, but it would make more sense. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Is the brandname RX product more tamper proof. Like Tylenol in capsule form there is a band holding both parts of the capsule together. The Avinza is easily pulled apart. At one time I opened the capsule and tasted the beads and it tasted just like salt. What can you do? ## Prescription products are required to be packaged in tamper proof containers, when they are shipped to your pharmacy. The actual tablets or capsules are considered protected via this method, because they are not opened, until your pharmacist or pharmacy tech opens them, with leaves minimal chance for them to be tampered with. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OXYCODONE AN OXYCOTTON? ## It would depend on what formulation of Oxycodone you are talking about. Oxycontin contains Oxycodone, but in a time released formulation, so the medication is slowly released. Roxicodone contains Oxycodone, but in a regular release formulation, this one is also available as a generic. OxyIR contains Oxycodone in an immediate release formulation and is available as a generic, as well. Is there anything else I can help with?

I found a pinkish pill, fell out my GF purse and I would like help, can't figure out what it is. The pill reads bayer in a cross on one side and DC on the other, it is small round and pinkish in color. Thanks for the help. ## I believe that what you found may be a new birth control tablet manufactured by Bayer, called Natazia, it uses for phases of hormones to prevent conception and one phase of the tablets are pink. Can I take Lortab and Oxyelite Pro at the same time? ## OxyElite Pro is an over the counter product that is listed as containing caffeine, Bauhinia Purpurea L, Bacopa Monniera, Geranium, Cirsium Oligophyllum and Rauwolscine, so the interactions between it and prescription medications have not been tested as is done for actual medications. I did check between the Lortab and Caffeine and didn't find any problems lists, but I'd suggest checking with your doctor, or pharmacist to be certain of the safety, before using it. Is clofenac causes death, while a patient infected with Dengue fever have it. ## What have the doctors said was the cause of death? However, any type of NSAID can increase the bleeding associated with Dengue Fever, since they do have blood thinning properties. ## A doctor gave clofenac to a high fever patient before taking the blood test. After 2 days, that patient diagnosised with Dengue Fever and sent to hospital. Next day that patient die. Parent of that patient accuses doctor that clofenac caused death. I'm curious about this issue. Does anybody know about that?
