Is the brandname RX product more tamper proof. Like Tylenol in capsule form there is a band holding both parts of the capsule together. The Avinza is easily pulled apart. At one time I opened the capsule and tasted the beads and it tasted just like salt. What can you do?

Prescription products are required to be packaged in tamper proof containers, when they are shipped to your pharmacy. The actual tablets or capsules are considered protected via this method, because they are not opened, until your pharmacist or pharmacy tech opens them, with leaves minimal chance for them to be tampered with.
The salty taste can be normal for this medication, because it is manufactured from the base salt Sulfate, that doesn't mean it was tampered with, however, if you feel that it was, then please contact your pharmacy.
