I found two of these tablets in a part of town known for the sale and use of illicit drugs, street and Rx. They are square in shape (@ half size of an aspirin) white, lettering is M5 written on one side of the tablet (above one another) and what looks like a stylized recycling logo or possibly an angel - tablets are a bit worn on this side. Wondering if anyone knows what this could be...? I've googled and searched other websites who deal with Rx drugs and haven't been able to locate an answer - lots on different shapes, sizes, lettering & #'s but not on my specific description. Doctor retiring and need a new doctor who will prescribe the pain meds for my back. I injured my lower back in a logging accident and had surgery on it and have been in constant severe pain since. ## You need to see a Pain Management Dr. Even though other drs can prescribe pain meds for chronic pain, very few are and even fewer are prescribing for new patients.You will also need a copy of your medical records. ## Indiana, pa look up Dr.han he's not the one to see but a lot in his facility will write ## All these stories I here is awful. The medicine helps me out in my pain on a daily basis. I was wondering if it was ok to ask the doctor for more tabs so the tabs will last a month? Maybe 45 tabs should be efficient. ## Hello, David! How are you? How many does the doctor instruct you take daily? This isn't a time released medication, so it's usually dosed several times a day. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Try breaking them in half and taking half every 12 hours instead for a month. A light yellow tablet with janssen t/a. Can anybody tell me what it is? ## This is Ultracet, containing 37.5 mg tramadol hydrochloride and 325 mg paracetamol. This drug is used for the management of moderate to severe pain. The physical description states "A light yellow tablet with an off-white core, with debossing as follows: 'T/A' on one side and 'JANSSEN' on the other side." Source ## Dale is correct. The NIH warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constipation, dry mouth, and headache. You are not supposed to drink while on Lyrica. I made the big mistake of doing that. I took my dose in the morning and then got invited by some friends to go out. I do not usually drink, but started drinking around 9:30 pm. I was found in an alley behind a restaurant at 4 am. The last thing I remember was last call at 2am. I am only posting this to give a VERY strong warning not to drink while on this medication. Luckily I am OK and still alive. It is a horrible feeling to not know what happened in those 2 hours. Please do not drink while on Lyrica. ## I have been on Lyrica at various strengths from 200mg/day down to 50mg/day. Oxycodones are the best and worst things. They bring love and they bring hate. They saw me through the best times and gave the very worst. The ups and downs follow. But no matter how much i hate them I love them ten times more. And that's the problem. I think I might be dependent. Anyone else? ## If you think that is addiction you best never take methadone. The oxy is min. compared to some others. Never ever take any pain meds for a duration, or addict or not, your body will respond by dependence. Not good unless your having a surgery, chronic pain cannot work etc. If you were not an addict you are now. I am unable to move my bowels from taking Exalgo and other opiods that I have taken for my chronic pain. I have tried taking drugs like Movantik and Amitiza that are supposed to relieve opiod constipation but they have not worked for me. Neither has more fiber, Colace, prunes, miralax etc. Anybody have any amazing remedy??? ## Very sorry about the problem you are having. I found an oblong white pill, not capsule, with the numbers 277 on one side and nothing on the other side, small about 1/8th of an inch by 1/2". Is this a Tramadol? I found one like it when I bought the house and was able to use the computer to find the answer, no such luck with answers this time.

after taking lyrica for 2 months, I have damage to my optic nerve...I knew I was having trouble seeing when I was taking it, but it did make my fibromyalgia so much better and my feet quit huring....when I wen to my eye doctor he said that my eye was damaged and I had to go to a specialist....it was not caused by high pressure in my eye and he could not figure out what was going on...I can find no lawyer to represent me....they do not seem to want to take on a big drug company....I am all most 100 % sure that the lyrica damaged my eye.....good luck to all of you trying to get a lawyer to represent you....God bless each one...Carol ## this is just a guess, but there may be a small possibility you may have ms, not fibromyalgia...one symptom besides the pain in your feet is optic neuritis,...

I take MS Contin and Percocet and Klonopin. My pain management doctor says my last drug test was positive for codeine. How can this happen? I am allergic to codeine and haven't taken any other medications. ## Percocet is *similar* to codeine (oxycodone is a semisynthetic derivative of codeine) but it should not show as codeine on a drug test, but may depending on the method of testing or accuracy. Morphine (MS contin) can potentially metabolize in to codeine so that is my best bet. It IS possible to get a laboratory positive for codeine (and even morphine) from consuming poppy seeds. I have been taking 10 mg of oxycontin at night, but I hate extended release medication so I am switching to 10 mg Oxycodone. I am concerned I will have withdrawals. Oxycodone was 30 mg every 6 hours or prn. Oxycotin is one 20 mg every 8 hours. It stops working at 40 mg OR 20 mg at about 5 hours.I had a RouxN Y Gastric Bypass several years ago, and my metabolism is fast. Could it be that time released pill isnt working because of the compromised gastric system?I will always need pain meds due to severe double curve scoliosis. It is so hard to deal with the doctors, yet they whistle when they see my xrays. Why is pain medication here if not for cases like mine? Im mid 50's. Been on pain meds for about 6 years. I have been taking Oxycontin60mg but I am now in my coverage donut and can not afford my prescription. I had taken Oxycodone once before and it just didn't work as well.
