I'm taking it for both epilepsy and fibromyalgia. I...

We are in Washington state. My wife has psoriatic arthritis, endometriosis, and fibromyalgia. She was force tapered to 3 30mg oxycodone a day and can now barely get out of bed, let alone work. Washington law lays out that chronic pain patients are absolutely able to be prescribed more than 120 m.e.d., yet the doctors we have seen won't go over that limit. We are trying to find a Dr that is willing to bring my wife back up to the dose she was on that let her live her life, not be bed-ridden from pain. Does anyone know of a Dr that is caring and is willing to prescribe more that 3 pills a day? Thank you for any help you can provide us. ## If my math is correct 120 pills would 4 a day not 3. ## I am so fed up with the politics of this BS. The courts have determined that pain is subject...

Has anyone else gotten this brand of 10mg hydrocodone from meijer pharmacy? And has anyone had problems? Any comments welcome. Asking because i recieved the 10mg of it yesterday and so far havent noticed any relief. Coments and replies please?? ## What is the name of pharmaceutical company that makes it? ## Camber makes some of the worst and most questionable narcotic analgesics on the market! You would get far more relief from 600mg to 800mg worth of ibuprofen liquid gels than most narcotic analgesics today! Never take this amount of ibuprofen without consulting your doctor first! The day of effective narcotic analgesics is over for the foreseeable future after all of them were reformulated in 2013-2014 to remove the chemical matrix that caused oxytocin to be released by the pituitary ...

pain ## What are the side effects of Pramadol HcL 50 mg.? This was prescribed to my mother when she had hip surgery. Hasn't taken any in a long while and has been having hip & leg pain more recently. Took 1 pill today so she could rest. Please tell me the side effects quickly. Thanks. ## Did you mean Tramadol? That is the only prescription medication that I'm aware of that's close to this and used for pain. Tramadol is centrally acting analgesic that's derived from an opiate, though it's not considered narcotic. However, due to being distantly related, it can cause similar side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. It may also have a tendency to be habit forming in some people. There are more Tramadol details available here. ## In welke...

I had signed an old petition "Stop the DEA from interfering with chronic pain patients and their medical professionals." and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name. Our goal was to reach 100 signatures and we need more support. * Update * this petition has been closed. Thanks! ## Thanks for showing your support! The DEA interfering with a doctor's practice has been a long drawn out issue for quite some time. I don't know if there's an end in sight to this upheaval, but in this day and age it seems we all have to learn how to manage our problems differently (through other means) or continue down the path of helplessness reaching out for a doctor's hand that's not there, because its being cuffed by the DEA. Petitions can be a great start to express...

Tamol x or the dose 225 and even 200 mg, is used for climax or less-pain treatments and used for cancer treatments. it's a pit for tramadol hcl, well this evil medicine is an under listed drug and it's used as a drug such like marijuana or something in that form, but this used-drug is different. it causes permanent addiction and it destroys body and brain cells. it also causes many side effects like purging up face, widely open eyes, and many side effects that can be deathly. So please be aware of it and only take it if you're in need of cancer and climax medication with low doses. #Sent by an experienced drug addiction from egypt, thanks. ## I forget to mention , and yes tamol x and tamol 200 is took as energy supplement and it delays climax but it causes body need and addi...

I have chronic & debilating pain EVERYWHERE & after giving me Demerol & 240 percocet every 14 days, a pain management centre (after I PASSES "no drug seeking behavior, dr shopping or issues w/ random blood evaluations proving I only took what was RX'ed, don't drink/use rec drugs) but he is 86 yrs old & ill: expected to die & left me 2 find another Dr- after 8 yrs w/ him (Ambulatory Internal Medicine Specialist) & birth to 30 when my Dr retired w/ this referral- b4 I got sick, I was 13 yrs into my social work career in jails, nothing slowed me down ever. I use Maxgalin 75, 2 tablets a day (as prescribed by my doctor) for peripheral neuropathy on the soles of the feet precipitated by a 'chikunguniya-like' viral fever that I had 3 years ago. I've taken it now for nearly 3 years, but without much success! What are the possible side effects? ## Maxgalin contains the active ingredient Pregabalin, this is an anticonvulsant that has also been proven to help with certain types of nerve pain. The common side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dzzness and weight gain. You can read more about it here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## constipation-, acidity, dozzing ## My wife had haemorage 3 weeks ago,and under medication since then. She is recovering nicely. She has complained pain in foot, ankles in evening hours.Do...

How many tablespoons of hydrocodone/homatropine 5-1.5 mg/mL (out of 90 mL) do I give to my 7 year old child, weighing 65lbs? ## Please do not give any to a child, unless it has been prescribed for them, and if it has, please follow the dosing instructions. It is usually dosed by teaspoon, not tablespoon, a tablespoon, or more would be way too much, and could cause an overdose. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. What symptoms is the child experiencing?

I was prescribed Dilaudid 2mg for the repair of an incisional hernia. Pain maiintenance has been a problem in as much as I cannont in the least tollerate even 2mgs of dilaudid. In the hospital was one matter. At home I was scared, felt on and off as if I were dying and very week to the point that I could barely make it to the kitchen to eat even oatmeal It would take me 10 to clean up a small kitchen spill because I was so weak. I switched to 600 mg IB and was chastised by the Advice Nurse for even considering IB and to switch immediately to Tylenol. My Question is this: Has anyone every been successful with pain maintenance with Tylenol Extra Strength or with 1/2 a 2 mg Dilaudid pill. Though still so afraid of Dilaudid. Thank YOU ## It really depends on what works for you. If Tylenol/A...

Are there any ibuprofen tablets that melt in your mouth? My 14 son still can't swallow pills! ## An option you might consider is Junior Strength Ibuprofen - chewable grape flavor. Basically a Junior Strength is 100 mg, whereas the adult strength is 200 mg. So you would just up the dosage of children's to match what the adult dosage would be in milligrams (basically 2 to 1). Advil - Junior Strength Ibuprofen, 100 mg, Grape Chewable Tablets Good Luck! My bottle dates back two years old. Is it still OK to take? Wonder if it will harm me at this age? I'm sick with a cough and can't get out. ## I’m waiting to know what the difference in strength is between a hydrocodone-homatropine 5-1.5mg pill and a 10/325mg hydrocodone-acetaminophen pill, and how many of the hydrocodone-homatropine 5-1.5mg pills would I need to take to equal one of my 10/325 hydrocodone-acetaminophen pills? Can I also take my tramadol 50mg pills with the hydrocodone-homatropine 5-1.5mg pills? ## Mike, medications tend to lose efficacy once past their expiration date, so they may not work as well as they did, when they were new. Additionally, liquid medications can turn rancid, so they could actually make you ill. Thus, it would be best not to take it, bu...

I recently filled a Vicodin prescription and they sent a white pill with "A 43" marking on it by KVKT NDC 10702-0194-01. Is this Vicodin HP? There is no picture of this or information. ## Yes, it contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 300mgs of Acetaminophen. I have been on regular Oxycodone- one 20mg pill every 4-6 hrs a day for approx 6 mos I used to be prescribed 10 MG TWO PILLS every 4-6hrs prior to the switch by my doc. Now, my pain has greatly increased and NOW he has given me 30 mg 4x a day and another script for oxycontin 60mg 2x a day. NOW, I am really drowsy ALL DAY where I was not at all before after this recent change in script. I also DO NOT get the same pain relief. Seems weird----go up in strength and dosage yet now just very tired all the time and less pain effective too..WHY, WHY?. I have read somewhere that the brand of oxycodone I take (KVK) ESPECIALLY the former 20mg was almost worthless for pain, yet their 10 mg was very effective. When ever I would take 2 of the KVK 10mg in past, it INDEED WAS MORE EFFECTIVE than just O...

I have a prescription for Percocet and I used to get Endocet. They now give me Oxycodone. I don't like them. They bind me. Where can I get an Endocet prescription filled in my area? ## Both Endocet and Percocet contain the same active ingredients, which is Oxycodone, and Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and headache. While constipation can also be a normal side effect, it can often be alleviated by increasing your fiber intake, if your doctor approves of you doing so. Is this the only medication you are currently taking?

Any info about the Darvon lawsuit? I took it for 30+ years with great pain relief. I cannot take narcotics that contain NSAIDs, so I'm now limited to Dilaudid, Morphine, Oxy-Contin, etc. I would much prefer to take Darvon, a drug in it's own class, even though I did suffer two strokes that could be related. ## I know there are lawsuits out there over the medications that contain Propoxyphene, but that is not why they were removed from the market and thus, it is highly unlikely that they will ever return to the market for us. The reason they were removed from the market is because the Propoxyphene and its relatives were found to be cardiotoxic, they caused a very real risk of cardiac problems, in some of the people that were using them. As to narcotics that contain NSAIDs, are yo...
