Which opioid is less difficult to withdraw from first? Nabilone: 1mg x 4 times a day. or Kadian: 100 mg ER once a day. ## Hi shemas, Nabilone is actually in a class of medications called cannabinoids, not opioids. That said, Kadian (Morphine) would most-likely be the more difficult drug to withdrawal from. However, if you stop taking Nabilone suddenly, you may have withdrawal symptoms, so in my opinion it would still be wise to taper off this as well. How long have you been taking these medications for? ## I have been taking 100mg of kadian for over 5 years, Im terrified of the withdrawl especially since its been for such a long period, I don't know if Im addicted or not, I don't have an addictive personality. I was on Percodan for over a year due to extensive dental work. I use...

Been having a very difficult time finding a pharmacy that has 20mg Oxycontin's in stock. Everywhere we've gone, does not have them. One the Medicine Shop doesn't carry them at all. These are always a problem and its crazy, people who are in legitimate pain are getting put through hell! Please if anyone knows where to go, let me know. ## Hello, Sooner! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're having such a problem getting your prescription filled. The issue on the east coast is actually due to the shutdown of a very large pharmaceutical distributor that was working with most of the large chain stores. The DEA found that they were moving a suspiciously large amount of controlled substances each month, which exceeded that done by other, similarly sized distributors. Unfo...

What will happen if my son continues to abuse myprodols? ## Hello, Lea! How are you? Myprodol contains Codeine, Paracetamol and Ibuprofen, it's most commonly used to treat pain. And the issues with abusing it are actually two-fold… The Codeine is a narcotic, so it can be addictive and usually, when the effects start wearing off, people keep taking more and more of it to get them back, which could result in an overdose. Learn more Codeine details here. And following along with that, the Paracetamol can be toxic, if too much is taken in any 24 hour period and an overdose of it can be fatally toxic. Learn more Paracetmol details here. Is there anyway you can get help for him?

Round, thick. Mauve colored pill with nothing on one side and a straight line scored in middle ## Hello, SteC! How are you? When it comes to a generic or store brand of over the counter Advil, there just aren't any pictures or listings of the details on all of them to refer to, because there are just far too many available and they aren't required to log their description and identifying details, as is required for prescription drugs. Learn more Advil details here. The best thing I can suggest is that if you aren't sure what it is, then don't take it, just throw it away. These OTC store brands are very cheap and you can easily pick up a new bottle from almost any retail store that carries patent medicines, so that way, you'd know for sure what you're taking. Is t...

How are you? Please don't take anything before surgery, without checking with your doctor or the surgeon. Anesthesia can be very touchy and there are many drugs that it can negatively interact with. Can you reach your doctor or surgeon? When do you have the surgery?

Please tell me what kind. Of pill is a lortab367 I was getting the lortab10/500mg.is this the same kind of medicine ## Hello, Sheila! How are you? Sorry about the confusion, I'm happy to clear this up for you. The tablet with the M 367 marking is listed as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, which is a generic for Lortab. Learn more Lortab details here. So, it is the same as what you were taking, but has a lower amount of Acetaminophen in it. Generally, if you've been taking it for awhile, your doctor will lower the dose of the Acetaminophen, due to the fact that long-term use of high amounts of it may cause liver damage, or liver failure. But, did your doctor mention changing the dosage? They should have informed you, if so. In a few months, all formul...

cost of 28 100mcg fentoras capsules. ## Though the price will vary from area to area and pharmacy to pharmacy, Fentora is actually quite expensive and you're probably looking at $400 to $450 for one 28ct package. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Fentora is actually much mor expensive than the price posted above. A box of 28 runs in excess of $1000 at most pharmacies. It is strictly regulated by the REMS ACCESS program and can only be prescribed by physicians who complete the required training and test. In addition, a patient/physician agreement must be on file with the REMS program, and only pharmacies who are prior-approved by REMS can dispense it. ## I found out today without my insurance, a total of 120 buccal tablets of fyntora comes to a whopping $12,000++ ... I need to know witch pill is the strongest Norco 5-325 or oxycodone 5mg my husband had a double knee replacement and is in a lot of pain.... ## Hello, Tina! How is he feeling? The Oxycodone is stronger than the Hydrocodone, but in this case, since the Norco also has Acetaminophen in it, they are probably both about equal. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Learn more Norco details here. They are both narcotic opiates that have the potential to be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. In need of finding a doctor in Dallas to prescribe my fentynl patches I have been on 150mcg for 9 years and just moved here I'm having terrible withdrawals due to my doc not refilling because I can't get to him where I moved from please help me ## Hello, Donna! Have you found a new doctor, yet? Due to the new regulations that were enacted this year, if you require such a medication on a long-term basis for chronic pain, you'll likely need to see a pain management specialist. In most cases, that'll require a referral from a PCP. Have you found a PCP? Learn more Fentanyl details here. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area? ## Unfortunately I've had no luck what so ever. I'm just really upset that these doctors offices that I have contacted are telling me th...

My pills got mixed and I don't remember what pill is small, white and marked with "4" and "M" stamped on reversed sides ? ## Hello, PhoenixG! How are you? There is a tablet that matches this description that contains 4mgs of Hydromorphone, the active ingredient in Dilaudid, which is a very potent narcotic analgesic. Learn more Dilaudid details here. It has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does that sound familiar? In the future, you should always leave pills in their appropriate marked containers to avoid such a problem. If you wish to place them in a pill dispenser, then leave one or two in the original bottles, or write down the markings and other relevant information. :-)

we have been seeing the original oc 80's around here and was wondering if they are coming back already or if they oc's are replaced with the op's???? ## No, they aren't coming back, however there are many still on the street, due to all the theft and diversion that occurred, plus any pharmacies and hospitals can still provide or sell them, until they run out of stock. Ethex is also a licensed distributor for Purdue and from what I have read in various posts, they have still had a stock of the original Oxycontin product. On the current supply runs out, everyone will be forced to switch to the new product. I fell 94 feet and broke my back in 7 places my Dr prescribes me roxicodone 30mg 205 quantity monthly but I can not find a pharmacy near Houston TX or surrounding areas to fill can someone help ## Hello, Shane! How are you? With that quantity, I have to tell you that you're most likely not going to find a pharmacy that will fill it, anywhere. Not only does prescribing 205 of them a month exceed the maxim daily dosing quantity limit, but it doesn't even average out to a regular daily amount, because dividing it by 30 comes out to 6.833333….. Unless someone is suffering from pain due to a life-threatening condition, such as cancer, the pharmacy can only fill for the maximum daily dosing amount and when it comes to the regular release Roxicodone and it's generics, that wo...
