M30 Roxicet Real Or Fake
UpdatedMy Roxicet 30 mg has M30 on it and is blue or green but my neighbors is blue or green w/o M30 on it. What is the difference and how can I tell if they are fake? My neighbor is 73 and she went to the pain clinic and tested neg for this pain med and she was released from the clinuc after taking this med for over 4 years and suffered withdrawals for 2 days as well as from oxycontin and xanax, until i happened to check on her and finally got it out of her she had been out of pain meds for 2 days and she called an ambulance because she did not know they were withdrawals and thought she was having a heart attack. I cancel the ambulance but EMT still came out and checked her vitals and she opted not to go to the ER. I gave her some of my meds which were the same, even though I know I'm not supposed to and she was better in 30 mins. I took her to her doctors that afternoon and he prescribed the samed meds she had and referred her to a new pain clinic. I did not know pain clinics could dismiss you without any medications, knowing you're going to have severe withdrawals, which could lead to life-threatening problems and/ or death. Her doctor did not let her try to explain or anything come to find out several months later her caretaker had switched her medications from the real pain meds to a fake pain meds and we did not know the difference nor did the doctor when we showed him how can we tell which is fake or real and does the M30 work better

What are the markings on the ones that she has?
That would be the only way to ascertain what they contain. If they have no markings, then they aren't U.S. approved Oxycodone tablets, because they are all required to have markings to enable their identification.
As to cutting her off like that, yes they can. They are not obligated to treat anyone, unless they are in immediately life-threatening danger. Being in possible danger at some future point has no relevance, that's why emergency rooms exist…..and please note, I'm not trying to say that this is right or fair, I'm just giving you the facts as they currently stand from the AMA.
You should also be aware that the tablets you mentioned, with the M 30 marking are not generics for Roxicet, they are generics for Roxicodone, which is a regular release formulation of Oxycodone by itself. Roxicet and Percocet contain Oxycodone coupled with Acetaminophen.
