I'm having a hysterectomy and will not be able to take it for at least 2 weeks prior to the procedure. I will not be able to function at work without it. What can I take in its place? ## Hello, Cydque! How are you? You really need to check with your doctor on this. It would be remiss of anyone online to try to suggest a medication, without knowing the details of your medical history and etc. Good luck with the surgery! Is there anything else I can help with?
my son has fever, just took 5mg of oxycodone, is it safe to take tylenol? ## Hello, Melody! How is your son doing? Yes, the tablet you mentioned only contains Oxycodone, so he should be able to take Tylenol, as long as it's okay with his doctor. However, it can potentiate the Oxycodone, which is why you need to check with his doctor, first. Is there anything else I can help with?
My doctor of over twenty years fear of new laws took my narcotics away. Lyrica causes weight gain & my face & legs to swell. Advil made my mouth swell shut so narcotics were a few of only things I could take. I wish the pill mill doctor would be sentence to two years of what i live with. constant pain even with med, living a tortured life watching others live. I have been doing this over 15yr I really don,t leave the house much, it is just too hard ## Hello, Jean! How are you doing? I am very sorry that you're in so much pain. Your doctor didn't refer you somewhere else? You can still get those types of medications, they just have to be prescribed by a specialist, which for you would be someone trained in pain management. ## Hey! You need a new doctor - either a pain man...
I have a new script from my doctor, it is Norco 10/325 I have not yet filled the script will you give me some insight on this medication I have been taking the Lortab 7.5/500 for years and it seems to get me going,Dont know how the new meds will work would not like paying money for something that don't work, My back problem is getting worse every year since I had a car accident. Please give me some insight on the matter if the meds don't work what am I going to do I don't want to stop working. I am 53 years old and I don't want to sit at home I will rather work. ## Hello, Bertha! How are you? It is actually about equivalent to what you were taking, so it should work about the same. Your new prescription contains less of the Acetaminophen, so your doctor has given you one...
Went to my last prop 36 testing and told him that I got a prescription for norcos so I'll be dirty for that the handheld test came back clean for norcos and dirty for pot meth the same P we sent to lab went to my POS the next day and tested for her heard came back dirty for norcos and meth his came back all clean .
Updated in Norcosmy husband broke his back his L 3 Vertebrata two years ago and was prescribed oxycodone from his sergeant and has been on this narcotic every since. And now he got a letter stating that he can no longer recieve his prescription from that sergeants office anymore and that he needs to go to his primary care physician and he does not have one.. So we decided to just try to get him off of the oxycodone and he started to fill really sick and his back was killing him so i guess what i am trying to figure out is what to do about the situation should we get him to a pain Management Doctor or should we go to a detox clinic? He really hates that he has to take a pain killer to function and when it wears off he fills really sore and gets the cold sweats and he needs another pill.. I have to get him i
Updated in Oxycodoneyellow, oblong/oval pill, cant read one side since its been in my wallet for awhile, the other side clearly says percocet. I just want to be sure its a percocet before i take it as i have had many bad reactions to other pills and this is the one that i have not. I plan on only taking half, which is what i do when i am in extreme pain, yet still need to function, but do not want an adverse reaction if this is not a percocet. The percs i am used to taking are normally white and round (generics) someone please assure me this is an actual percocet. ## Yes, there are 2 yellow, oblong name brand Percocet tablets that say Percocet on one side. One of them contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen and the other contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen, however, with...
Been taking 7'5 mg generic vicoden every 4 hours but switch to k9 perc (30 mgs?) How much of the perc do i take for similar relief? Is the k9 time release and does it contain acetamenaphine? Don't want to feel high or weird, just same effect and pain relief Thanks ## Hello, Irish! How are you? The tablet with the K9 marking is not a Percocet or the generic equivalent. Percocet and its generics contain both Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and there are none available that contain 30mgs of either one. The tablet with the K9 marking contain 30mgs of Oxycodone, by itself, in a regular release formulation. It is actually stronger than the Vicodin you were taking. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizzines...
Took 800mg ibuprofen & still in pain. It's been hour half & only other meds I have is 845mg BC. Can I take? ## Hello, PJ! How are you feeling? No, you really shouldn't mix them, unless your doctor specifically says that it's okay for you to do so. They are both NSAIDs, so it can increase the risk of bleeding, stomach pain and stomach ulceration. Is there anything else I can help with?
Need to find a pain doc that write roxycoden, I've tried alot of other pain meds and.roxys are the only way i.get pain releaf ## If you truly have a diagnosed condition, that can be assessed by CT scans, MRI's, lab findings, or other devices such as ultrasound, then you probably do need a Schedule Two narcotic. In receiving a Schedule two, the mindset now is that you will probably be on them for an extended period of your life. In the past, in order to make patients comfortable, doctors were prescribing medications like OxyContin, Roxicodone, Duragesic Patches, etc. for pain alleviation. If you are having sporadic or afflictions that cannot be measured scientifically, then the chances of getting a CII are limited. Even hydrocodone CIII, is coming under scrutiny. Now, trust me, i...
If I took one .5 oxycodone will I pass my drug test tomorrow ## IF you drink a lot of water you might not show hot but it is only a chance. just make sure you drink a lot of water before your test. If you aren't suppose to have this drug then stop it before you need more and more. If you do need it than it shouldn't make any difference what you test shows as long as you have a script.
i've been taking this for 2 years. i only take 1/2 and most days i only take 3 halves. i can go 8-12 hours when i sleep without any withdrawal. my pain doc isn't concerned about me being addicted. said my dose is too low. ## What has your doctor suggested? Does he want you to start taking more? There may be an issue with your taking less than what you're supposed to, that does leave some medication unaccounted for and your doctor has to worry about that, due to government regulations. They are supposed to make sure that you are taking all of it, as prescribed, no more and no less. I know that sounds kind of crazy, but it is something they need to monitor. ## about a year ago he asked me if i needed more. i told him i didn't. there's no way he can monitor how much i t...
I really need to know if these are real their supposedly hydrocodone 15 or 30 mgs their yellow creamish color and tablet shaped... Like a caplet but solid! Nit filled like a capsule... Please help ## Are there any markings on them? Any prescription products in the U.S. would have imprints on them, to enable them to be identified, in case of emergency. Can you please post back and let me know? Thanks!
The pill is in package of 10 labeled Watson E53 -- says it is hydrocodone 10/325 but it does not provide the results you would expect -- what do you think they have put in this pill? ## Hello, Jim! How are you? Do you know what country they are from? Any other information you can provide on them may help to narrow it down. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you.
I take Opana 30 ER and oxycodone 30 mg every 6 hrs for chronic pain for a back surgery that resulted in a fractured disc among other issues and now requires a very dangerous surgery to correct it. I have been taking narcotic drugs for several years including oxycontin and fentanyl patch. I think I may have taken my proper dosage of Opana but double my dose of oxycodone because I couldn't remember if I had already taken it. I'm keeping an eye on it and I seen to be fine. Just a little anxious. ## Hello, Seawench! How are you doing? Did all turn out okay? In cases like this, never be afraid to call your doctor or poison control for more information. Doubling up one time in most cases won't be dangerous, because you are already tolerant to opiates, but there are always exceptio...
Wow am I glad I found your site. I had been prescribed Percocet before but when I got these, I couldn't find it anywhere on any rxlist or site until I came across this blog. It was very helpful. I was unaware that watson had switched to actavis pharm or that there was a new company making these, I thought the pharmacy had messed up So thank you for all your info it was VERY helpful! ## Hello, Alaska25! How are you? I'm very glad that you found the information to be helpful. :-) There have been several people asking about these tablet and I had trouble finding the details myself. Are there any other questions or concerns?
I have a torn disc and spinal stenosis my current Dr will not prescribe me anything for pain. He would like for me to get an epidural which I am hesitant to do. I have severe back pain most days but don't think its frequent enough to go to a pain clinic. My former Dr used to prescribe me Norco 10/325 and that helped a lot I was able to sleep through the night and felt good in the mornings. I've seen 5 different Dr's and none have been willing to help me. I've been looking for somewhere else to get it from any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Updated in NorcoI was prescribed cherratussin ac, it has an awful taste that makes a little nauseous, is there something as strong that I can ask mythe doctor for? ## Hello, John! How are you? Your doctor doesn't prescribe the medication from any particular manufacturer, that depends on which one your pharmacy has in stock. There are some products available that contain Hydrocodone, rather than Codeine, so your doctor may be able to prescribe one of them, if you inform them of your problem. Is there anything else I can help with?
Well I was in a car wreck and broke my neck in 3 places and also have suffered from severe panic attacks and anxiety. I had a doctor who really helped me we went through several medications and we found the best combination of medication for me that actually made it possible for me to maintain a relatively normal life. Then he had a legal suit against him for supposedly touching a female in a unprofessional manner and his license has been suspended. I need a doctor in my area who can help and not think I am drug seeking for the wrong reasons. I will admit that I have a high tolerance to medication and what Iwas pprescribed that actually just made it comfortable for me to maintain by most considered to much. I have no reason to lie I just need to have the same treatment I was getting and...
Updated in OxycodoneI have severe osteoporosis an current end plate fracture and 2 10/325 norco helped most of time but I was taking to much so they switched to diladid which didn't last more than two hours then switched to MS Contin 15 twice a day with Norco why through the MS Contin didn't do enough an was still taking to,much norco so they upped the MS Contin to 30mg twice day with only 4 norco a day for break through. Some day it work some days it doesn't it depends if I stay in bed or am up doing stuff. My question is I had gastric bypass an was always told not to take extended release an now they give it to me idk understand why. Also so days the MS Contin seems to help other days not so much I was wondering if my mal absorption impacts what I'm absorbing as far as the pain meds. Also...
